Transmigrated into Another Apocalyptic World (BL)

Chapter 80

The next day, when Luciel woke up and went out of the room, he didn't see the others.

Only Calvin, Jane, Nina, and the kids were around. Oh, Ava and two of her bodyguards were also there.

"All the others went out?" Luciel asked while looking at Nina, who was packing some of their things already.

"Yes, Sir Treyton said that they'll be back after dealing with things outside," Nina said.

"I see."

They surely went out to deal with Mr. Adel's group. And it seemed that Treyton really doesn't plan to stay in this settlement any longer because they went out very early.

He didn't think about them any longer because they might even be coming back already because he still noticed that Treyton woke up at 5:00 in the morning and it was already nearly 10 am.

So, he just went to eat his breakfast that was on the table.

"What is it?" Luciel asked Ava after he finished eating.

Ava kept looking at him as soon as he was out of their room, but he just ignored her and continued eating his breakfast.

"Why didn't you go with brother Treyton and the others?" Ava asked.

"Huh? Why do I need to go with them?" Luciel asked in a puzzled tone.

"You can clearly fight; why don't you go and help them?" Ava asked dissatisfiedly.

"They're clearly strong enough on their own; why do I even need to join them? Besides, I don't have the energy to go and fight," Luciel answered leisurely.

"Liar! How can't you have enough energy to fight, when you sleep even longer than me?"

Ava clearly misunderstood what he meant by saying he had no energy to go and fight. When he said that, he just meant that he was too lazy to even move.

Someone was already solving the problem. Why would he even bother to join and tire himself out?

The situation in the settlement doesn't even have any connections to him. Why does he need to waste his effort on people he doesn't even know?

"I just don't have the energy to fight. Why are you even asking me to go when you didn't even go yourself?"

"It's different; I'm clearly not strong enough to join them!"

"Then, train yourself to be stronger so that you can join their fights in the future. If you finally managed to fight with them, then you can come and ask me to join."

With Ava's personality, he doesn't think she would be able to do that. And even if she managed to train and really was able to participate in battles, he still wouldn't join.

He only said that she could ask him to join when that time comes, but he didn't say that he would agree.

"Why do I need to get stronger? I have my bodyguards with me!"

"See? You won't even try to fight on your own. Why do you want others to go and fight? You have your bodyguards with you; that's why you don't need to fight. It's the same with me; I also have Treyton; that's why I don't need to fight."

He stayed with Treyton and his group so that he wouldn't need to do anything. If he had to do everything on his own or had to participate in all the things they were doing, then it wouldn't be better to just go off on his own.

He didn't save them at the beginning so that they could all work together. He saved them so that they could do all the work for him, so that he could continue living a leisure lifestyle.

"You're relying on brother Treyton too much!"

"What's wrong with that?"

"Even if you are lovers, you are just being lazy!" Ava said angrily.

Oh, what a spot on judgment; unfortunately, there isn't any award for it.

"Your brother, Treyton, doesn't think there's anything wrong with it, so you can't do anything about it. If you want to say anything, go and tell Treyton later.

And you're being lazy yourself, so you should try to practice being diligent first before saying anything to me," Luciel still replied leisurely.

"I have my bodyguards with me, so I don't need to do anything!"

"See? You are worse than me. At least I'm Treyton's lover, so it's more acceptable that I'm relying on him, but you are relying too much on the bodyguards; you can't even pay them money anymore.

I'm actually surprised that they are still following you when you are treating them as your full-time nannies and part-time bodyguards," Luciel directly pointed out Ava's problem.

"Th-that, my father and brother will pay them later! Hmpph! I won't talk to you anymore!" Ava said and went inside her room.

Ava isn't a child anymore, so even though he was spoilt by his family, she should have realized that she actually doesn't have anything to pay her bodyguards with.

She was just relying on thinking that her father and brother would pay the others later, so she couldn't say anything to him anymore.

She shouldn't have bothered him when she knew that she has no advantage at all.

After Ava left, he started playing with his phone, but not long after playing something, Edna stood in front of him.

"What is it?" He asked while looking at Edna after pausing the game he was playing.

"Sir, I'm here to thank you for what you have done last night. Thank you very much!" Edna said.

"No need to thank me. I just did that because they were annoying," Luciel said.

He indeed dealt with her son's attacker, but the main cause of it was because they annoyed him so much, so Edna really didn't need to thank him at all.

"Even if that's indeed the cause, I still need to thank you for what you have done.

Austin woke up yesterday afternoon, but he didn't say anything and was just staring blankly at the ceiling.

We kept asking how he was feeling, but he wouldn't reply or even look at us.

When those bastards came, Austin actually woke up.

When I entered the room after Sir Luceil dealt with them, Austin was still standing near the door while still holding a scalpel while crying.

I was worried and glad at the same time because he was finally expressing his emotions.

Austin said that he wanted to thank you for what you've done, but he just went back to sleep again. So, I'm here to thank you first.

Even if it's unintentional, I'm still thankful that you solved the person who attacked him and, most importantly, for bringing back Austin's emotions. I really don't know what to do if he just kept staring at the ceiling every time he woke up. So, thank you very much!"

"I see, then your welcome," Luciel said, accepting her thanks.

She already said a lot, so he had to accept her thanks even if what he did was due to his bad mood.

"I know we might not be able to do much, but please tell us if you ever need our help. We will surely do our best to help," Edna added.

"Ok, I'll surely tell you guys if I need something," Luciel said.

He surely wouldn't refuse free helping hands. However, as Edna said, they really couldn't do much, and he doesn't think he would really need their help. The others were already doing their best, so he still has a leisure lifestyle.

Well, as long as they helped the team properly, they would already indirectly be helping him.

After saying her thanks, Edna went to help Nina pack their belongings while he continued the game he was playing.

He played games for almost an hour before hearing Treyton and the coming back.

"Oh, Ciel, you're up already? I thought we could come back even before you wake up. It seemed that we really took a bit more time," Treyton said as soon as he saw him relaxedly sitting on the sofa.

"Yeah, I remembered that you woke up at around 5 am. You took a long time to just solve a group of scum," Luciel said.

"We took care of those scums pretty fast, but it took a long time to look for all of them and to deal with the people they left behind," Treyton said.

"I thought you guys already talked about the other community group. You should have just left the mess to them.

Don't sit beside me! You reek of blood," Luciel immediately said when he saw Treyton trying to sit beside him.

So, instead of sitting beside him, Treyton sat on the sofa in front of him and continued saying, "Yeah, we left all of it to the other group, but it still took time."

"I see. So, who is that person with you? Is it one of your previous lovers?" Luciel asked about the unknown person who came with Treyton and the others.
