They checked the battlefield, looking for survivors and the mysterious person who helped them. They found only two survivors: Kouki and Rin. The three returned to Konoha.

"Kakashi, Kouki, Rin, don't go home. Come with me to see the Hokage!"

Back in the village, without rest, Shisui rushed them to the Hokage's office. Kouki found it strange that Shisui, an Uchiha, went to the Hokage's office instead of the Uchiha compound. Shisui was deeply affected by Konoha's Will of Fire. This showed how much he valued the village over his clan.

Sarutobi Hiruzen valued Shisui. Hearing the report, he immediately summoned Shisui. Kouki, for the first time since his rebirth, was in the Hokage's office.

Too bad the check-in system only works once a day. I'd check in here and see what I get! Kouki thought.

"Shisui, did you find Obito's body?" Hiruzen asked, puffing on his pipe. Kakashi's Sharingan transplant and Shisui's search for Obito were known to him.

"Hokage-sama, I didn't find Obito's body," Shisui replied. Many bodies were lost on the battlefield, but Obito was different. He was an Uchiha with the Sharingan. They needed his body, especially to secure the Sharingan. Hiruzen questioned him and told him to keep looking.

"Hokage-sama, there's something else I need to report!" Shisui said seriously.

Hiruzen wasn't surprised. If it were only about Obito, Shisui would have come alone. But he brought Kakashi, Rin, and Kouki.

"Speak," Hiruzen said.

"On our way back, we were ambushed by an Iwagakure elite squad led by the Five-Tails jinchuriki, Han."

"The Five-Tails jinchuriki?" Hiruzen was surprised. Iwagakure had only one jinchuriki left (the other left the village), and they sent him? That was bold.

But... could Shisui handle a jinchuriki?

"Shisui, you escaped the Five-Tails jinchuriki with Kakashi and the others. I wasn't wrong about you."

Hiruzen's voice held praise and apprehension. Shisui was incredibly strong, possessing not only Kotoamatsukami but also exceptional combat skills. It was fortunate he was on their side.
