RUMBLE—

The city in the center of the Human World began to shake violently. The ground split open, creating countless fissures from which green roots grew, like the tentacles of a demon.

The skyscrapers, however, did not collapse. Green vines climbed up their sides, protecting the structures.

"Alright, that should do it," Teppei said, holding one of the vines in his hand.

The main body of the Four-Beast, which looked like a withered tree root, began to prey on the humans in the city. It extended countless tentacles from its mouth, and before long, a large number of people had been swallowed into its stomach.

Kenji knew that those people were not being digested, but were being stored in the Four-Beast's internal space to be taken to the Gourmet World.

BOOM!

After absorbing the four beasts, the main body's emaciated form instantly became round and muscular. Its appearance was not exactly pleasing to the eye.

"This aura... it's probably close to Level 500. Joie really did enhance the Four-Beast," Kenji said, raising an eyebrow.

ROOOOAR—

The Four-Beast threw its head back and roared, spewing a green mist from its mouth. In just a few breaths, the mist formed a strange cloud layer in the sky, and a green rain began to fall.

Sizzle.

Before the rain could land on Kenji and Atashino, it turned into ice powder and vanished. A cold aura had formed a domain around them.

Icy looked at the Four-Beast's main body with utter disdain. A single puff of its breath could turn the thing into an ice sculpture.

Lotta had no interest in fighting either. Even at Capture Level 500, it was still too weak. It would be better left as an experience pack for its descendants.

"This is rain from the Gourmet World. The Plague Rain. If you're caught in it, you'll only live for an hour," Atashino said, her brow furrowed.

"Atashino, go to the Gourmet Tower and help out. They'll need to make an antidote," Kenji said.

"Alright." Atashino wasn't worried about Kenji's safety. She sat on Icy's back and flew towards the Gourmet Tower.

Kenji stood with his hands behind his back, watching the performance of Toriko and the others. With their pride, they would definitely have to try and handle it themselves first. The more damage the Four-Beast took, the more delicious it would become. But would a nearly Level 500 Four-Beast give them that many opportunities to attack?

Spike Punch, poison...

The Four-Beast was very familiar with their attacks. By absorbing the four beasts, it had gained not only their nutrients, but also their memories.

The Four Heavenly Kings were out of commission for the time being. Jiro and the others knew he was here, so they wouldn't interfere. So, it was his turn. Otherwise, Toriko and the others were about to be written out of the story.

"It's Kenji..." Toriko knew exactly what was happening. Kenji was here to clean up the mess after the Four Heavenly Kings had been defeated.

"You guys look pretty miserable. The Four-Beast got a quadra kill."

"Although you can adapt to some of the environments in the Gourmet World, you still need raw power. After you've trained in the Gourmet World for a while, the Four-Beast's main body will be no match for you," Kenji said with a smile. "Oh, by the way, the Four-Beast's main body is in the lower ranks of the Gourmet World. There are several people who could deal with it watching right now. If I weren't here, Mansam and the others would have stepped in."

The corners of the Four Heavenly Kings' mouths twitched. Was it fun watching us get our butts kicked?

"Starfall!"

With a flick of Kenji's finger, several meteors descended from the sky, piercing the clouds and trailing brilliant tails of flame. They crashed into the Four-Beast's main body with the impact of nuclear bombs, making the entire city tremble. The meteors weren't too large; the Four-Beast hadn't reached its peak deliciousness yet. It needed to take more damage.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!—

After twenty meteors had crashed down, the Four-Beast's flavor reached its peak. Kenji looked at Toriko and the others. "You all should be able to condense the energy of your appetite, right?"

Now, only the final step remained. Let them do it. The focused energy of their appetite could defeat the Four-Beast.

"Appetite energy..."

Toriko and the others recalled what Ichiryu had once taught them, but they had never succeeded in using it. It was a combination technique for the four of them. Because they had never used it, they had almost forgotten about it. But now was the perfect time to try. To be beaten so badly by the Four-Beast... it would be a true regret if they didn't get some payback.

"Thanks. Leave the rest to us."

The four of them struggled to their feet and began to refine and gather the energy of their appetite. There was nothing else on their minds, only a craving for the taste of the Four-Beast. Kenji could feel that they had no fighting spirit left, only an boundless appetite for the Four-Beast.

"This is the final—King's Dinner!"

The four of them created an energy sphere several meters in diameter. The surface of the sphere instantly tore open, forming a giant mouth that looked as if it could devour anything. The King's Dinner was launched with a roar, and it began to bite and devour the Four-Beast. With every part of the Four-Beast's body it ate, its volume increased. The Four-Beast was completely unable to stop it. The appetite energy sphere was too agile; the Four-Beast could only watch as it was rapidly devoured.

"Pfft..." Kenji laughed. The way the Four-Beast couldn't even touch the appetite energy was too comical. It was a bit like Buu's helplessness against Vegito when he was turned into a coffee candy.

"It's over."

The four of them sat down on the rubble, their bodies completely drained of energy after using the King's Dinner.

"That horse Zebra brought could have easily dealt with the Four-Beast," Kenji said.

"Really, Zebra? Your partner is that strong?" Toriko and the others were taken aback.

"I told you before, it's just a mode of transportation. It's not my partner," Zebra said flatly. Since it was just transportation, there was no need for it to join the battle.

"What the hell? We got beaten so badly, why didn't you let that horse fight earlier?" Sunny said, exasperated.

"The Four-Beast has been defeated, so there's no need to talk about it anymore. We were just too weak. Otherwise, we wouldn't have needed Kenji's help," Toriko said with a sigh.

"Who knew the Four-Beast's main body had such an exaggerated Capture Level?"

"The Four-Beast's main body is normally supposed to be around Level 300+. This one was just patched and enhanced a bit," Kenji added.

"Huh?"

The Four Heavenly Kings were stunned. They thought it was originally this strong. They hadn't expected this to be an enhanced Four-Beast Plus version.

"It seems there's a mastermind behind the Four-Beast's invasion," Coco said seriously.

"Forget about all that. Hasn't Komatsu made the antidote yet? We're on a countdown here," Sunny said.

"Hey, Mr. Toriko, Mr. Coco... I'm here!"

Speak of the devil. He arrived. Komatsu, with the Medicinal Mochi.

Sunny couldn't help but quip, "Komatsu, you're getting good at making these dramatic entrances too." One after another, their rescues were so perfectly timed, so flawless. He was biting his lip with envy.
