Chapter 100: My Wife Was Teased by a Subordinate
Grayson Quinn curiously leaned over, took a couple of glances, and then slumped his shoulders in disappointment and disdain, "What! I thought it was some military secret, but turns out it's a TV drama! When did you start watching such boring dramas?"
Boring?
Mason Nightshade's gaze darkened slightly, but he didn't speak.
Normally observant Grayson was unusually oblivious this time. He glanced at the screen again and started clicking his tongue, criticizing, "What kind of show is this? Never seen it before. Is it a new production by your company? That actress is pretty attractive, just my type. What's her name? Got her contact information?"
You can't just say Mason's expression was "gloomy" anymore. It was like the calm before a storm, chilling to the core.
"..." Gustavo Yates silently broke into a sweat for Grayson Quinn, watching him still chatter on about wanting contact info. He just wanted to rush over and cover his mouth. M#|+V|LEM**PYR. is the home of t*his chap$t-er
Officer Quinn, that pretty actress is our boss's wife.
You're openly flirting with the boss's wife...
You're done for! You're so done!!
Gustavo Yates coughed, wanting to hint to Grayson, but Grayson didn't catch on at all and continued talking to himself.
Gustavo Yates simply rolled his eyes, decided to leave him be. Oh well, who told him to "flirt" with me just now too? What goes around comes around.
"Grayson." Mason knocked on the table, his thin lips curled into a cold, shallow smile, his eyes deep and chilling. Grayson got goosebumps from his gaze, a chill ran up his spine, and he stopped talking, cautiously asking, "Colonel, I didn't say anything wrong, did I?"
That gaze was terrifying.
This kind of gaze definitely had a plot twist. Every time he wanted the other party to suffer misfortune, he looked at them like that.
"If you don't want to give me her contact info, then don't. It's not a big deal, I just won't want it." Tsk, Mason is so stingy. It's just flirting with one of his company's artists. A little flirting never hurt anybody, besides, his bro's still single! Finally finding someone he's interested in, he doesn't even help connect them.
"You've been pretty free lately?" Mason asked him slowly.
Asking in this way meant preparing something good, Grayson thought for a bit before cautiously replying, "I've been keeping an eye on a drug cartel recently. I've been undercover in their group for over three months. Those junkie places are ugly and dirty, no place to shower—I even started to smell. Just took them down yesterday. Smell me, you can still catch a weird odor on me."
"Oh really? Then it seems like you're free now."
Grayson had a bad feeling!
Only to see Mason smirk, looking at him with a roguish smile, speaking lightly, "The drug trafficking situation in Southeast Asia is rampant, and the situation is chaotic, with forces from all sides. We're missing a leader. I think you fit the bill."
"Colonel, I just took down a drug den. I haven't even had a chance to rest and catch my breath," Grayson wailed.
Are you kidding! Going to a place crawling with drug lords like Southeast Asia? Will he still be able to show his face when he gets back?
Moreover...
Who wants to go to such a godforsaken place where there aren't even any pretty women!
"I see you're still able to come over to me, full of energy," Mason said with a smile, "No need to rest, over in Southeast Asia..."
"I suddenly remembered I still have some errands to run, I gotta go, bye-bye~" Grayson quickly made his escape before Mason could finish, blowing a kiss to Gustavo Yates while leaving, "Little Yates, I'll come see you next time when I get a chance."
Gustavo Yates shivered with goosebumps: Who wants you to come see me! And who's Little Yates!
