Tokyo: My Superpower Refreshes Every Week

Chapter 110: Tea Aroma Girls' Mini-Classroom_1

So I'm a KGB agent?

Through the tap water residue in his glass, Aozawa peered into the interrogation room, unable to resist an internal snark.

From other scenes, he realized it was getting late.

He ended his Catalyst Induction spying and returned from a god-like perspective to that of a human.

All the images and sounds vanished from his mind.

For a moment, he felt the world was unusually silent, as if he were the only one in it.

Taking a deep breath, Aozawa acclimated himself to the present world. He pulled his fingers out of the thermos and poured all the tap water onto the grass beside him.

His mind sunk into thought. So Yasuda Masao was still a strong proponent of the sea-dumping plan. If I remember correctly, the Japanese government set the sea-dumping date for August 24th. Today is only May 16th; I have ample time to stop the sea-dumping plan and prevent new species like Godzilla from being born in the ocean. I could even resolve the issue with the nuclear power plants. However, I don't need to act immediately. Relying only on my current superpower, stopping the sea-dumping plan won't be an easy task. It's best to wait until I acquire a few more potent superpowers before stepping in to stop the sea-dumping plan.

Contemplating the future of the ocean, Aozawa got up, left the lawn, and headed for the academic building.

Before he reached the entrance, Aozawa spotted the stylish Hot Girl quartet; one of them had an earring that shone brightly in the sunlight.

He quickly greeted, "Iroha."

Ayatsuki Ayaka, hearing his voice, stopped chatting with Saeko and the others and turned to look behind her.

Takahashi Saeko patted her shoulder and said, "Go ahead; we'll wait for you."

"Yeah," Ayatsuki Ayaka didn't hesitate at all and ran straight over.

Tama Chan mocked, "If she starts dating Aozawa, she'll totally ditch her friends for him."

"Agreed." Takahashi Saeko could easily imagine such a scenario.

A simple summons already had her scampering over; in the future, she might be utterly preoccupied with thoughts of Aozawa.

Ayatsuki Ayaka hurried over to Aozawa, a smile breaking across her face. "Is there something you need?"

"I've cleaned the thermos for you; here it is."

Aozawa handed over the washed thermos.

Ayatsuki Ayaka reached out to take the thermos. Deliberately employing a little trick, her fingers brushed against Aozawa's hand as she grasped the thermos.

She blinked, her expression full of anticipation. "Do you want to hang out at Ikebukuro West Exit Park this Saturday? I just got two movie tickets, and Saeko and the others happen to be unavailable. Going alone would be such a waste."

She had made up an excuse for herself.

Aozawa didn't even ask what movie it was, simply nodding. "Sure, I love watching movies."

Ayatsuki Ayaka's lips curled up. "Okay, then. I'll let you know where to meet later. Saeko and the others are waiting for me, so I can't chat long."

"Alright, you go ahead," Aozawa smiled in response.

Ayatsuki Ayaka turned and ran back to Saeko and the others.

Takahashi Saeko, seeing the joy overflowing from her friend's expression, inquired, "Did you get a date with him?"

"Of course! He's probably dying to go out with me," Ayatsuki Ayaka boasted again, her features animated. "From what I can tell, he's completely fallen under the spell of my pomegranate skirt."

"Don't count your chickens before they hatch," Takahashi Saeko retorted.

If he had truly fallen for her, Ayatsuki Ayaka wouldn't be the one needing to buy tickets; Aozawa would have.

Tama Chan began to impart her wisdom. "The most important trick to watching a horror movie is to act scared of everything you see. But remember, don't overdo it. You need to build it up gradually, showing different degrees of fear for different levels of horror. Don't just collapse into his arms the moment a ghost appears—that doesn't give a guy much to look forward to. Save that move for the most terrifying scenes. Start with something subtle, like holding his hand firmly. This will convey the tension you're feeling and lay the groundwork for potentially jumping into his arms later. When he asks if you're scared, always remember to respond with 'Not at all.' That kind of stubbornness impresses guys—it's a plus."

Ayatsuki Ayaka entered the academic building with them, etching each of Maru's words into her mind. She said nonchalantly, "Maru, I already know all that. You don't need to keep reminding me."

"Okay, then I look forward to hearing your good news." Tama Chan smiled subtly. This tactic was her secret weapon; if used well, it could win over ninety-nine percent of men.

Takahashi Saeko also began to share her own experiences. "On the day of, it's better to wear a shorter skirt—short enough that bending over would reveal your underwear. Then, at some point, deliberately act clumsy and choose to bend over to pick something up. The glimpse he gets in that moment will definitely capture Aozawa's heart."

"Huh? But what if other people see?" Ayatsuki Ayaka was somewhat concerned.

Takahashi Saeko was exasperated. "I'm not suggesting you do it in the middle of a public square. Can't you pick a place where there's no one around?"

"Haha, true," Ayatsuki Ayaka laughed, feeling a bit nervous inside.

Using those tactics felt a little wrong, didn't it?

Then she reconsidered: if they became boyfriend and girlfriend, seeing the color of each other's underwear wouldn't really matter.

The real question was, which pair should she wear?

She felt that all of them were pretty, but if Aozawa were to see, she'd have to choose the prettiest one.

What a dilemma!

With a touch of indecisiveness, Ayatsuki Ayaka pondered these matters as she took her indoor shoes from the shoe locker and swapped them for her outdoor shoes.

BANG. She slammed the shoe locker door shut, having made up her mind. She would conquer Aozawa with that super-mature one.

Hehe, just imagining Aozawa staring at her... A smile involuntarily appeared on Ayatsuki Ayaka's face.

This self-absorbed, self-amused smile brought a smirk to the faces of the three girls beside her.

Iroha is so easy to read; just looking at her expression reveals what she's fantasizing about.

Takahashi Saeko sighed inwardly, starting to worry again about the naive girl being devoured by Aozawa and then discarded.

If that really happened, she, the Street Cleaner, might well have to do a pro bono job. Physically eliminating the scumbag.

...

The three afternoon classes flew by quickly.

Aozawa stuffed his textbooks into his bag and walked out.

Phoenix Academy Maggie joined Yoshikawa Sayuri and Nomura True Wave on their way to the Manga Club.

Hojo Tetsuji walked beside him, continuing their discussion about the plot of a mainstream action manga.

"How about having the Demon King appear at this point?"

"My entrance needs some gravitas. No major villain actively seeks out the protagonist. Usually, the protagonist goes through innumerable hardships to finally confront them." Aozawa glanced over and swiftly replied.

Hojo Tetsuji pondered and said, "You're right. Then let's have the protagonist collect seven Black Devil Balls. The Demon King also wants to get the Black Devil Balls to destroy the world."

"How would the Demon King survive after destroying the world?"

"He goes on to destroy the next world. The Demon King is a fearsome creature who derives fleeting pleasure from destruction." Hojo Tetsuji thought that motives were easy to come by. There could be not just one world, but countless worlds waiting for the Demon King to destroy.

"Wouldn't that make my world-building seem really expansive?"

"Absolutely."

Aozawa, taking out his outdoor shoes, felt like he had been brainwashed by Hojo Tetsuji's storyline. The guy pestered him with these ideas whenever he had a spare moment.

"Good. Since there are no problems, I'll continue drawing and show you tomorrow."

"Don't draw so many pages in one night, especially when it comes to details. For instance, when you draw a landfill, there's no need to illustrate every single piece of garbage clearly. That kind of thing might look impressive, but it's actually pointless." Aozawa retorted. "Obsessing over details is something only famous artists can get away with; that's when people bother to look for them. A newbie manga artist stuffing so much information onto one page will only overwhelm the reader."

"You have a point." Hojo Tetsuji nodded. He didn't really want to draw that much either, just worried that being too concise would affect the visual impact. Honestly, drawing such scenes was incredibly draining.

The two chatted as they walked and separated at the club building.

Hojo Tetsuji headed alone to the Guzheng Club on the first floor.

When he opened the door, the melodious sound of the guzheng flowed into his ears. Hojo Shouko and Natsuka Yanagimachi were sitting there, playing.

Seeing him enter, they stopped.

Natsuka Yanagimachi spoke, "Hojo-senpai, you're here."

"Yeah, keep playing. Don't mind me."

Natsuka Yanagimachi glanced at the manga manuscript paper in his hand, a bit curious. "Hojo-senpai, what kind of plot is in the manga you're drawing?"

Honestly, when Natsuka Yanagimachi first saw Hojo Tetsuji wearing sunglasses and sporting a fierce, adult look, she thought he was very aggressive and difficult to get along with. Only after interacting with him did she realize Hojo Tetsuji was straightforward and not unreasonable at all; in fact, he was a very affectionate young man. He was willing to do things he wasn't good at for the girl he loved, a quality that scored highly in Natsuka Yanagimachi's eyes.

"I haven't started drawing it yet. Aozawa ripped my manga to shreds, so there are many parts I need to change," Hojo Tetsuji shook his head.

Hojo Shouko said with some surprise, "Brother, you actually showed your manga to Aozawa-senpai?"

"Yes, is there a problem?"

"Of course, there is! The plot of the manga Brother draws is practically a pollutant. Even I, a layperson, can tell it's awful. Aozawa-senpai actually read through it patiently. You must thank him properly."

"Your words are quite rude. But as for thanking him, I did treat him to three bottles of orange juice."

"That's not nearly enough."

"It's enough for guys," Hojo Tetsuji casually replied, not thinking the matter was a big deal.

Hojo Shouko said seriously, "You can't neglect manners!"

Both Hojo Tetsuji and she were stubborn; neither could be convinced with just a few words.

Seeing his sister still nagging about it, he pretended not to hear her, sat down cross-legged, and began to conceptualize his manga.

Right now, Hojo Tetsuji had only one goal: to get his work serialized in Shonen Jump as soon as possible.

Hojo Shouko's brow furrowed slightly. It looks like I'll have to be the one to thank Aozawa-senpai on Brother's behalf.
