Adam Tree's First Expedition /

At the time, the Abyssal Hunters having a hard time.They were stuck on top of the Adam Tree and couldn't continue to get down.

They were faced with an enemy they had never thought of before.

[Silver Wyvern]

A silver skinned wyvern that could only be defeated with a direct hit by a sword.

Weapon other than sword and a way other than direct hit was useless. 

Even Sword Saint cannot use his power against them. Even though his power could make him launch his swords and normally could kill them with that way. 

However, that was literally useless. 

Why they know Silver Wyvern can only be defeated by a direct hit with sword? 

Because one brave man thrown himself to the sky with a sword in hand, and killed one of the Wyvern. 

Unfortunately, after bravely throwing himself into the air and killing one wyvern, the brave man become helpless in the air and became fresh food for the other wyverns.

Without having a way to take care of the Wyverns, they couldn't continue to get down.

There was a group who dared to sacrifice themselves to face the Wyverns. By using the same method as the first brave man.

The Staff Saint did not allow that because it was too risky. The first brave man was lucky enough to get one kill before. The same method will not work because the Wyverns already aware of the method. 

In the deadlock, the Spear Saint found a hole in the trunk of the Adam Tree, which was strongly suspected to be a dungeon.

Because the Spear Saint the one who found it, she gets the right to conquer and claim the dungeon. 

Unfortunately, they didn't have much members to carry tot he expedition at that time. 

So Spear Saint only chooses fourteen brave female warriors to accompany her. 

With the hope that they will get good items after they clear the dungeon, they come out with good and bad news.

The bad news, they lose one member. The good news, they got thirteen Gryphon Whistle. 

The Gryphon Whistle is able to summon a Gryphon. Then the whistler is able to ride the Gryphon as their mounts. 

Except for Spear Saint, the thirteen brave female warriors, ride their Gryphon, and face the Wyverns. 

The Thirteen Gryphon Rider brings victory to the Abyssal Hunter. 

That day will be the anniversary of the birth of the Gryphon Riders, or later to be considered as Valkyries.

The Valkyries were having a hard time. 

They did not expect to fight against their old enemy. Only the old enemy represents the antagonist faction.

"Leena, watch out!"

A swarm of monsters that only they can face as Valkyrie. [Blacked Silver Wyvern].

"Thanks, Rina!"

"You sloppy, don't just focus on one enemy, pay attention to your surroundings too!"

The problem with the wyverns was, there were too many of them. The Valkyries seem to have killed around 100 of them.

Some of the Wyverns had even passed the Valkyrie guard and headed for the city.

Fortunately, volunteer Hunters were on the top of the building to confront them. 

"Vana! Assist me!"

"Let's go, Yuna!"

The situation was really unfavorable. 

Without the kings or queen instructing them, they only could rely on group or self initiative to deal with the situation. 

"Asna, on your left!"

"Got it!"

With absolute cooperation, the Valkyries finally managed to reduce the number of Wyverns.

"Savina, is it just me, or they finally stop appearing?"

"Yes, looks like Virtue of Kindness has run out of their wyvern stock."

There were only a few wyverns left to take care of.

Of course, the Valkyries could take care of them with ease. Because wyverns without their horde were just a fly easy to catch with chopstick. 

"All this thanks to the unexpected arrival of that person."

At the very back of the Valkyries, a single Valkyrie was controlling the wind. She used Divine Wind Arts that only a few people in Abyssal history could use.

"I never thought that you really came to support us after what happened."

"Kiana."

Diana's arrival was completely unexpected for the Valkyries. Especially after the humiliation they gave to her.

"That is a problem between us as sisters. But as a Valkyrie, I can't stay silent when you are facing difficulties."

"Always be professional as usual, huh?"

Perhaps separated for more than five years made their relationship loose. Plus, the sisters who are still together and haven't changed a lot are surprised by the changed Diana.

That is what makes discrimination against Diana happen.

"Kiana, the wyverns finally stop spawning. We think we are done here."

"Should we go down and help the ground?"

The sky has been cleared. What remained was the city that was attacked by the army of black knights.

"Alright, let's-"

"No."

Kiana was just about to make a decision. But Diana interrupts her.

Of course that made all the sisters look at Diana and wondering – 

"Why we can't go down yet?" asks Kiana.

Even though they still did not like the idea of Diana became pregnant, they have to be professional for Eria's safety.

They asked her for her opinion, and they literally focused their eyes on her. Diana felt that something was off. But she could not tell what it was. 

Previously, the Valkyries were having a hard time facing the numerous wyverns. The Valkyries got the upper hand after Diana joined the battle and used her Arts. 

After they reduced the wyverns number, the wyvern stop on appearing. 

Did the Black Hunter attack just stop that easy?

Even when attacking the 2nd Floor, Echidna had many ways to overwhelm the Floor 2 Hunter League.

On Floor 3, all the remaining Virtues, and even the Soul Saint, were here. It felt like there was no way their attacks would stop after 100 wyverns were finished.

Just when Diana overthink about that, suddenly, in an instant, a wyvern appeared at the back of her sisters. 

That made Diana instantly cast an Art, pointed her two hands in front of the sisters, then disperse the sisters from the direction of the wyvern's attack.

All the Valkyries, of course, so shocked at Diana's sudden attack. But when they angrily wanted to ask about her action, they caught the sight of a Gryphon being caught by a wyvern.

Shock once again attacked them.

"Diana!!"

Kiana instantly dashed towards the wyvern. 

But by the time she moved, a whistle sounded from below.

Diana freefall. She just dispelled the captured Gryphi.

Without a mount, she can no longer fly. But she can reduce the glide of wind art. 

Unfortunately, the assassination attempt did not stop there. 

This time, four wyverns dashed to Diana to kill her. 

With her state, Diana won't be able to escape all those attacks. She will die. 

But, that won't happen when there were 9 sisters who will save her. 

"Are you alright?!"

Kiana caught her. The rest kill the wyverns. 

No one dies and no one can die among them anymore.

"I'm alright. But, I won't be able to summon Gryphi in the meantime."

Gryphi was injured after getting gripped by the wyvern. He had to rest in the Pocket realm until his wounds healed.

"That's not a problem. I will carry you, so you can support us and we protect this city."

The moment Diana's assassination attempt failed, another horde of wyvern spawned. 

Black Hunter's attacks have not stopped. 

It is uncertain, until Black Hunter runs out of weapons, or Eria, who runs out of guardians first?

"Ars, when are you going to wake up? Terra needs you once again."
