This Life, I Will Be the Protagonist

Chapter 195: I’m Willing to Donate 300 Pounds of Dragon Dung!

The combination of **Young Rogue** and **Old Rogue** made it incredibly difficult to kill Silas unless one could ensure a surprise attack that would instantly finish him off. Otherwise, as long as Silas had a photograph in hand, he could escape from almost any situation by teleporting away. No wonder he wasn't worried about being hunted. His partnership with the Special Affairs Bureau likely served more to avoid mystical abilities used to track him than to seek protection from direct confrontation.

Rita was impressed. "This Divine Gift is really something…"

But as she nodded in agreement with herself, it hit her—Silas could only carry a limited weight when teleporting, based on his combined attributes! At level 6, Silas's total attribute points would only add up to 61. Rita had a bad feeling as she scanned the room full of players again.

She noticed a player with a talent for monitoring and intercepting emails… It seemed the reason Special Affairs Bureau didn't use mail for resource transport wasn't as simple as Shadow.Q had casually suggested.

Her gaze then landed on a familiar face in the corner—a short-haired woman. The same one who could turn players into cockroaches. She stood there, with a calm, almost benevolent smile, holding a transparent jewelry organizer.

Rita turned to Shadow.Q and pointed at the five-tier organizer, teasing, "Wow, is that where we're staying during this trip? So luxurious! Am I even worthy of such fancy accommodations?"

Shadow.Q avoided eye contact, nervously fixing her hair, "Yeah, didn't I mention it before?"

Rita: "…"

**Shadow.Q**: "Ahem… I got you and Nivalis a single room. Don't worry, you won't be squashed together with other creatures."

Nivalis lifted her head from her game, confused, "What single room?"

Before Rita could explain, players had already begun lining up by the short-haired woman, eager to be transformed and pick their "rooms" early.

Nivalis stared as a Blue Star player was turned into a tiny beetle. She quickly put away her phone and, with a slight panic in her voice, told Shadow.Q and Rita, "I'll just stay in my space. I don't need a room."

Without hesitation, Nivalis retreated into Rita's pet space, leaving Rita clutching at thin air where her dragon had been sitting moments before. Rita's fists clenched in frustration. "What happened to sharing everything, huh?!"

With a firm grip on Rita's arm, Shadow.Q dragged her toward Avery, insisting, "We're already here… Get in line early, and you'll have a better choice of rooms. Single rooms are limited!"

As they approached Avery, Rita spotted the short-haired woman's second skill:

**Unkillable, Absolutely Unkillable**: You can designate an area with dimensions based on your intelligence, constitution, and strength (in meters). This area can be fully modified to fit your desired environment. The altered space lasts until you cancel the skill. The area can be moved, but each move consumes 2% of your mana, and the maximum distance moved (in meters) cannot exceed your agility stat.

That explained why the Special Affairs Bureau was confident in setting up a base near the undersea volcano. According to Shadow.Q, that region was one of Lania Kaia's most infamous dead zones. The underwater volcano frequently erupted, making the surrounding area unstable, with chaotic fire magic surges that deterred sea creatures like the merfolk.

However, Avery's skill could create a habitable zone with air, pressure, and other essentials for Blue Star inhabitants, even neutralizing the lava that flowed into her designated area.

Rita quickly assessed Avery's build—shorter than herself by half a head, likely around 165-168cm, and reasonably fit, maybe around 58 kilograms.

Just as Shadow.Q dragged her within a meter of Avery, Rita blurted out, "I'm willing to donate 300 pounds of dragon dung! 300 pounds!"

In an instant, she materialized two large crates of dragon dung, slamming them on the ground. Then, in a swift move, she transformed into a tiny kitten, barely weighing 2 pounds.

Shadow.Q, now holding the small kitten in her hands, sighed heavily, "…I want to squeeze you to death right now."

Avery, disappointed: *Sad face.*

Meanwhile, the cockroach-like players inside Avery's jewelry organizer and those still in line gave Rita longing, envious looks.

Riding on the donation of dragon dung, Rita successfully avoided being transformed into an insect.

Two minutes later, Rita was perched comfortably on Avery's shoulder, watching the insects in the jewelry organizer below. Occasionally, she'd swat at the box with her paw to spook one of the cockroaches inside.

Shadow.Q shook her head. She made a mental note to include this incident in her year-end promotion application as proof of her ability to handle pressure, stay calm under stress, and maintain a cheerful demeanor.

Once all the players had been transformed into cockroaches, Silas extended his right hand, allowing Avery to place hers on his wrist while holding the jewelry organizer full of miniaturized players. Rita, still in kitten form, jumped from Avery's shoulder to Silas's, gripping his armor tightly with her paws—just to be safe.

After everything was in place, Silas pulled out a photograph showing the deep sea and a massive mountain taking up nearly a fifth of the image's background. Despite being underwater, Lania Kaia's many bioluminescent sea creatures lit up the photo's dark depths.

Rita braced herself, knowing the intense water pressure would start draining their health as soon as they arrived—something both Silas and Avery had warned her about.

"Alright, everyone, take a deep breath and hold it!" Silas called out.

Then, he pointed at a spot on the photo. In the next instant, Rita felt like she was being thrown into a washing machine.

Gripping Silas's shoulder armor tightly, she endured the disorienting spin until, all of a sudden, she plunged into cold water. The pressure crushed against her lungs, and her health began to slowly drain, losing 3-5 points per second.

Through half-closed eyes, she saw that Avery and Silas were also losing health—except their health bars were dropping at an alarming rate, almost 5% per second.
