This is my ninja journey

Chapter 9: Chapter 9 You just realized I'm handsome?

A gentle breeze blew, and the sandstorm had disappeared without a trace at some point. As far as the eye could see, besides the fragments of weapons and the corpses of ninjas, the only things that caught the eye were large areas of yellow sand stained with blood.

Suna came suddenly and retreated without hesitation, disappearing in an instant. And the Konoha ninjas, who were afraid of being ambushed again, did not dare to chase.

The wind filled with a foul smell swept through. The expressions in the eyes of Otonashi and Shisui gradually dimmed. Compared with this hellish scene, strength and merit could not make people feel excited.

Otonashi pulled out the kunai stuck in his hand, turned his head, and looked at the unclosed eyes of the Jonin behind him who had died with grievances.

The boy had understood since he was a child that in this world where offense was strong and defense was weak, obtaining a secret technique meant having the capital to settle down. As long as you weren't too unlucky to encounter an enemy with a counter attribute, it was not impossible to fight above your level. Even if your ninjutsu reached the sky, you would still fall if a knife pierced your vital point.

Staring at the first master who died at his hands for a few seconds, he slowly bent down and picked up a broken straight sword, and walked towards the other corpses with firm steps.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Shisui, who had just awakened his eyes, felt that his legs were trembling with exhaustion.

The blade stabbed into the chest of a corpse. Otonashi pulled it out and replied without looking back, "Of course I'm making sure they're dead."

The dull sound of the blade entering the flesh rose intermittently. The boy was like a machine, firmly executing the rules of the battlefield. Shisui took a step forward as if to help, but was stopped by Hyuga Hinata who came back.

"Enough, leave it to Otonashi." The Jonin's face was surprised and gratified. No matter what his power would be in the future, this attitude of never letting his guard down determined that Hanyu Otonashi would become a mainstay of Konoha.

So the three watched from the side. Sure enough, there were Suna ninjas who were seriously injured and pretending to be dead, mixed in the middle, preparing to launch a sneak attack. But seeing the silent killing machine slowly approaching, they no longer had the courage to throw out the hidden kunai. With their hands raised high and their knees kneeling, after a French military salute, this war had nothing to do with them.

"I'll go and watch over them." Shisui immediately got up and walked over. Shizune also wanted to help, but was stopped by Hinata again.

"Don't go. A group of ninjas who have lost their courage cannot resist. Go and treat Otonashi." Hinata looked around. The various ninja teams were regrouping. A team as intact as Team 17 was rare. He had to discuss countermeasures.

"Yes." The girl took a deep breath. Compared with Otonashi, who became famous in one fell swoop, and Shisui, who shined brightly, she was undoubtedly an invisible person in this battle.

Otonashi had just finished making sure everyone was dead. He threw the three or five prisoners to Shisui and walked back, just in time to meet Shizune who was holding a first aid kit and blocking the way.

"I'll treat you."

"I also know medical ninjutsu," Otonashi said casually. He saw Shizune's pursed lips and gently turned around, "Then I'll leave the wound on my back to you."

His EQ was normal. How could he not see the gloom in Shizune's heart? Sure enough, the latter's complexion brightened. She asked Otonashi to sit down and carefully pulled out the kunai deeply embedded in his flesh.

"Hiss..."

"Sorry, does it hurt?" The girl quickly put her hands together and approached the wound. The chakra emitted a green light, and the bleeding wound quickly stopped bleeding.

"Nonsense, you try being stabbed." Otonashi rolled his eyes and groaned in pain. Fortunately, this vest had a certain anti-stabbing ability. The kunai had penetrated two inches into the flesh and had not injured any vital points. Under the medical ninjutsu, the pain slowly disappeared and was replaced by a strange feeling.

A little warm, a little numb, and a little soft.

"It feels pretty good." Otonashi said while treating his arm.

"What did you say?"

"I said your medical ninjutsu is good. It feels pretty good to be treated."

The people of this world were quite precocious. The thirteen-year-old Shizune immediately blushed and gritted her teeth, cursing, "Pervert!"

"Haha, don't take revenge on me." Otonashi laughed and said meaningfully:

"And don't underestimate yourself. If it weren't for you, I guess I would have died of excessive blood loss, or at least I would have lost my ability to fight. Besides, how many ninjas died because they ran out of chakra and were exhausted? We are just mortal bodies. If we are injured and cannot be treated, we will die in the end."

The girl behind him did not answer, but Otonashi felt the touch on his back tremble for a moment, so he smiled again, "Killing and saving people are not different. If I had a choice, I would rather choose the latter."

"So you learned medical ninjutsu?" Shizune asked curiously.

"Just in case. It's common for ninjas to get injured. If I get injured and you're not around, I can't just wait for death."

"I really don't know where you get so much energy. Just medical ninjutsu alone is making me almost bald." Shizune complained about this monster, passed the bandage under Otonashi's armpit, covered the wound firmly, and tied a bow, "Okay, but don't use too much force, otherwise the wound will break open."

"Huh, it's tied quite well." Otonashi moved his arms a few times and found that it was neither tight nor loose. He shamelessly raised his arms, "Then I'll leave my hands to you too."

Shizune was stunned. She didn't expect this companion with extraordinary combat power to ask for help. The gloom in her heart could not help but disappear, and she replied angrily, "Sit down. I really can't do anything with you, but..."

"But what?"

A blush flashed across the girl's face, and she said in a low voice, "You were pretty handsome just now."

The wind danced with blood and sand, and the boy who cut the enemy with a horizontal sword naturally left a deep impression.

Otonashi stroked his chin and raised his eyebrows, "What, you just noticed?"

Shizune was stunned and couldn't help but use a little more force.

In the distance, Shisui had just handed over the prisoners to the rear guard unit when he met Hyuga Hinata who came back. The teacher and student looked at each other after seeing the girl who was concentrating on bandaging.

"It seems that there is no problem." Shisui was a meticulous person. He could see that Otonashi did it on purpose. And unlike those arrogant members of his clan, he valued his companions very much.

"He did a good job, but you're not bad either, Shisui."

"Instructor Hinata, don't comfort me. Otonashi is the main contributor to this battle." The boy smiled wryly and slowly touched his eye sockets, saying proudly, "But I'm still young, I'll catch up sooner or later."

He's different from other Uchiha...

Hinata flashed a trace of surprise. To be honest, as the strongest clan in Konoha, the Uchiha did not leave a good impression on others. Closed, stubborn, arrogant, and holding the police force with great power. Anyway, the Hyuga family was very dissatisfied.

"Let's go over. The battle of Mount Kikyo should be decided."

"You're back?" Otonashi saw the two approaching, stood up and put on his vest. If it weren't for the bandages on his hands, you wouldn't be able to tell that he had been injured before.

Hinata still didn't like nonsense and said directly, "The outcome has been decided. Let's retreat."

"Instructor Hinata, can I go and help?" Shizune suddenly took a step forward.

There were still many injured Konoha ninjas on the battlefield. Hinata glanced at the student's sweaty head, but he was very happy that she had a strong heart. Many times it had nothing to do with strength, it depended on whether you were willing to push your strength to the limit.

"Go."

"Thank you!"

Otonashi saw the girl leave in a hurry, and he was also suddenly enlightened. Shizune was not as fragile as he thought. He looked at the messy battlefield, then looked at a blurry figure on a distant stone pillar, and left silently.

With a gust of wind and sand, and a burial of earth style, it wouldn't take long for all traces of the killing to be covered up, as if it had never happened.

....

"I didn't expect it to end so quickly. I wanted to find a few puppets by the way."

A red-haired boy was looking into the distance, like an artist whose creative interest had been disturbed, frowning slightly.

"But these guys have great potential. What a pity."

The boy withdrew his gaze and disappeared in an instant.
