Chapter 342: A Miracle Happened
"Lord Kami, I remember seeing you on TV when I was a kid. You didn't look like this back then—your hair was black."
"This is Super Saiyan 3, a transformation we achieve through training."
"Wow, that's amazing! Even though I have no idea what it means!"
"Lord Broly, are you also a divine goddess You have such a great figure."
"Just yesterday, you were saying my chest was small and that I was pitiful~."
"D-Did I? That definitely wasn't me, hahaha..."
"..."
Back in school, Elisa was always bickering and messing around with Yuujin and the others. But after coming to terms with the fact that they were actually divine beings, her attitude took a complete 180-degree turn—constantly trying to curry favor and get closer to them.
Yuujin found it amusing but didn't mind the attention.
As a guest, Elisa was treated well. He had Gokumi and Broly keep her company all afternoon, and even arranged for Fist to take them on a tour of the local division of the Dragon Ball Corporation.
Now, this company represented the Divine Temple's presence on Earth, and even a single branch wasn't open to just anyone. Not even the mayor of Orange Star City had the privilege to walk around freely like Elisa did today.
This was Yuujin's parting gift to her—whether he ordered it or not, Fist and the company's employees would undoubtedly take good care of her from now on. And these small acts of kindness were enough to completely alter the trajectory of Elisa's once-ordinary life.
Time flew by, and before long, night had fallen—
"Yuujin, we're out!"
After spending all afternoon playing and sweating, Gokumi bounced energetically out of the bath, with Broly following behind.
"Where's Elisa? Wasn't she with you?"
Noticing her absence, Yuujin asked.
"Elisa, hurry up and come out!"
Gokumi shouted, and soon Elisa hesitantly stepped out.
Gone was her usual casual attire—she had changed into an elegant evening gown prepared by the maids, and they had even taken the time to carefully style her appearance.
Even Yuujin couldn't help but be momentarily impressed. As expected, clothing makes the person. Girls truly shine when they put in the effort to dress up.
If Elisa had always been just a cute girl, tonight she exuded a genuine feminine charm—one that could easily stir any normal man's hormones.
But Yuujin had been surrounded by countless beauties before. This level of charm wasn't nearly enough to move him.
"The maids have prepared dinner. You all should come quickly."
He smiled, shifting his gaze away.
Seeing that Yuujin had no particular reaction, Elisa let out a small sigh of relief—only to immediately feel annoyed.
Damn it, Sirus! This is the first time in my life I've dressed up this beautifully, and that's all the reaction I get? At least give me a compliment!
Normally, she would've stormed over and twisted his ear to teach him a lesson for not recognizing her beauty. But now that she knew he was a supreme deity, she wouldn't dare.
Besides, she had to get on his good side. She needed to cling to his golden thigh as tightly as possible—no way could she afford to offend him.
So, smile. Be elegant. No dirty thoughts.
"Mm! So good!"
One after another, the maids brought out extravagant dishes, and Yuujin, Gokumi, and Broly immediately started devouring them ravenously.
For Saiyans, nothing in the world brought more happiness than eating.
Even though Elisa was used to this sight from their school days, she still couldn't help but roll her eyes at them. These were supposed to be divine beings? Would it kill them to eat with a little grace? Look at her—she was a true lady.
Thinking this, Elisa elegantly picked up her knife and fork, delicately cutting her food and taking small, refined bites. Nothing like the wild and aggressive way she used to fight over food with Yuujin and Gokumi at school.
Yuujin, of course, noticed this, and the corner of his mouth twitched. He wanted to tease her about it, but in the end, he held back.
Forget it. This was probably the first and last time Elisa would act ladylike in her life. No need to ruin the moment.
After dinner, they enjoyed some tea and snacks. Seeing that it was getting late, Yuujin turned to Suno, who had been standing by.
"Suno, bring the gift."
"Yes, Lord Yuujin."
Suno left and soon returned with a gift box, handing it to Elisa, who had been chatting with Gokumi and Broly.
"Miss Elisa, this is a small token from Lord Yuujin. Please accept it."
"For me?"
Elisa's eyes sparkled as she glanced at Yuujin.
"Go ahead, open it."
Yuujin smiled.
Eagerly, Elisa opened the box, only to find—not jewelry, not accessories, but a single thin piece of paper.
"A… a letter of admission?! Shenron Empire Academy's admission letter?!"
At first, she was disappointed. But the moment she read the words, she gasped in shock.
"Well? Do you like it?"
"You… you actually remembered..."
Yuujin grinned, while Elisa's face flushed red.
Rolling his eyes, Yuujin was speechless.
You think I'd forget? I literally caught you just the other day dreaming about your secret ambitions—how you wanted to become a secretary and serve the great Lord Tenshin. You think I have memory loss or something?
"This admission letter has no time limit. You can enroll in Shenron Empire Academy whenever you want."
"Work hard, Elisa. I'm looking forward to seeing what you accomplish."
Yuujin's words made Elisa's face turn even redder.
Looking forward to my accomplishments? You mean you want me to hurry up and become your personal secretary so you can play out your pervy office fantasies, right?!
Kami my ass! You're just a giant pervert!
Despite her internal complaints, Elisa was overjoyed.
She knew deep down that, under normal circumstances, she never would've had a chance to enter Shenron Empire Academy. Unless a miracle happened…
And guess what?
A miracle actually happened!
