Chapter 205: Two Little Geniuses
"Big sister…"
"Hahaha…"
"Your Highness, please don't fly too fast."
In the temple's garden, Goteno and Trunksia were flying around, chasing each other in the air. Surrounding them were over a dozen sacred maids, always vigilant to ensure the safety of the two precious little princesses, lest they experience even the slightest mishap.
Not far away, in a stone pavilion, Yuujin, Goku, Chi-Chi, Bulma, Tights, and Vegeta were seated together, enjoying some delicious tea and snacks.
"Master, the northern, western, and eastern galaxies are now part of the empire's territory. All the planets and races in these star regions have pledged allegiance to you."
"Additionally, Lady Launch has sent word that she is preparing to lead the army to the southern galaxy soon."
Dressed in a sleek secretary uniform, Princess Snake stood beside Yuujin, flipping through documents as she spoke.
It had been only about four years since Yuujin declared the empire's establishment, yet its territory had expanded rapidly—from a small Earth to now claiming nearly half of the galaxy as its domain.
With the Frieza family eliminated, no one in this region of the stars could halt Yuujin's advance. Over the years, Launch had led the expeditionary forces to expand the empire's territory with frequent victories. At this rate, it would only take another year or two before the entire galaxy belonged to Yuujin.
To be fair, this pace wasn't particularly fast. Frieza himself could have conquered a galaxy in just a few months, avoiding much of the trouble Yuujin's forces faced.
While Yuujin shared some of Frieza's dominance and ambition, he prided himself on not being a tyrant like Frieza—ruthlessly crushing resistance and killing anyone who refused to submit.
According to Yuujin's principles, Earth's expeditionary forces would try peaceful means first to bring planets and races under their rule. Only the most obstinate would face military suppression.
Moreover, planets and races that submitted to the empire weren't endlessly exploited. As long as they pledged loyalty to Yuujin and obeyed imperial orders, they were allowed to maintain their planetary autonomy.
Not only that, but the empire even sent talents to their planets, providing resources and technology to help them develop their civilizations.
Of course, as part of the empire's territory, their planets' resources had to be centrally allocated and mobilized.
Initially, many planets and races submitted out of necessity. But upon discovering that life under the empire improved significantly—and they no longer had to fear cosmic pirates or invasions—they began to genuinely appreciate Yuujin. They wholeheartedly pledged their allegiance, becoming true members of the empire.
The latest reports indicated that most planets and races under the empire's banner now shared Earth's gratitude and devotion toward Yuujin, worshiping him as their god.
"Launch is working too hard. I haven't pressured her to hurry. Let's have her return for some rest after this mission," Yuujin said, sipping his black tea.
For years, Launch had been tirelessly expanding Yuujin's territory, while he only occasionally visited the frontlines—and even then, he mostly idled aboard the Frieza ship, indulging himself and avoiding meaningful contributions. Thinking back, Yuujin couldn't help but feel a little guilty.
"Launch only comes back for Goteno and Trunksia's birthdays. I miss her, too."
"I suggested she take a break before, but she declined. She seems to enjoy it."
"You must be talking about blonde Launch, right? The other Launch has complained to me several times about how the blonde one loves all the fighting. Last time, she even controlled their shared body to personally join the battle," Tights said with a laugh.
"Blue-haired Launch has complained to me, too," Bulma added. "Even though they're the same person, they have completely opposite personalities. Only Launch could have such unique troubles. Hehe…"
Hearing their conversation, Yuujin chuckled inwardly. Among his many wives, Launch was particularly unique, possessing two entirely different personalities: the fierce and wild blonde Launch, and the gentle and refined blue-haired Launch.
Blonde Launch, once an infamous thief with a questionable past, had voluntarily become the commander of Yuujin's expeditionary forces. In the past, she stole jewels and money. Now, she was conquering galaxies and the universe itself.
The scale was on a completely different level. The thrill and satisfaction of such conquests far surpassed her past escapades. Over the years, Launch had fully immersed herself in this new role, showing no signs of stopping.
But this came at the expense of the blue-haired Launch, who preferred reading, tea, and quiet chats with loved ones. She detested the violence and chaos of war.
Still, the gentle blue-haired Launch never complained to Yuujin, knowing how important her counterpart's actions were to him.
Realizing this, Yuujin felt he had neglected her. After this mission, he decided to bring Launch back. From then on, she would alternate between a year of campaigning and a year of rest. After all, they had all the time in the universe. There was no need to rush.
"Daddy!"
At that moment, Goteno and Trunksia flew in, throwing themselves into Yuujin's arms.
"Had enough fun, my little darlings?" Yuujin asked, gently rubbing their cheeks.
"Mm, Daddy hug," they replied in soft, sleepy voices. Moments later, they fell asleep on his chest.
Eat, play, sleep, repeat—these two carefree little girls truly lived a life without worries.
Suno and Meizhen stepped forward, ready to carry Goteno and Trunksia back to their rooms, but Yuujin shook his head. He wanted to hold his precious daughters a while longer.
Unlike their father, who had only 5 points of combat potential at birth, Goteno and Trunksia were tested at thousands of points, rivaling Vegeta's potential at birth. Their results had astonished everyone.
On Planet Vegeta, every Saiyan newborn's combat potential was measured, determining their rank as warriors. Most Saiyans were classified as low-level warriors, with only a few prodigies reaching mid-level. As for high-level warriors, only Vegeta and King Vegeta had ever qualified.
Under Planet Vegeta's standards, Goteno and Trunksia would undoubtedly be classified as high-level warriors.
While such evaluations weren't entirely accurate, they reflected a Saiyan's innate talent. High combat potential meant rapid growth with training, while low potential led to slower progress and limited achievements.
Goteno and Trunksia's exceptional potential, even at a young age, allowed them to fly around freely within months of birth.
Of course, beyond 10,000 points of combat power, combat potential had little impact. At Yuujin's current level, further growth required dedicated training.
Looking at his two sweet daughters sleeping soundly in his arms, Yuujin's eyes were filled with love.
With such high potential, Yuujin was determined not to waste their talent. Once they grew a bit older, he planned to train them personally, shaping them into beautiful, powerful warrior princesses who could dominate the universe.
As Bulma and the others continued chatting, Yuujin daydreamed about his daughters' futures. Suddenly—
Boom!!!
A loud explosion shook the entire temple!
