Chapter 199: A Captive Pet

Turning Celipa into another tool for his use was a decision Yuujin made the moment he saw her.

Although she was technically his adoptive mother and had once saved his life, Yuujin had also saved hers. Their debts to each other had long been settled.

Had she not fallen into his hands, that would have been the end of it. But now that she had, Yuujin had no reason to let her go.

In truth, Celipa's strength wasn't particularly remarkable—her battle power was only a few thousand. On Planet Vegeta, she had been just an ordinary lower-class warrior. Many of Yuujin's Red Silk Girls could easily overpower her.

However, as a Saiyan, her bloodline still held significant combat potential. Compared to the Red Silk Girls, her latent potential was much greater. With proper training and a boost in power, she could become a valuable asset.

And if she managed to break through her limits and transform into a Super Saiyan, that would be even better.

Faced with Yuujin's domineering ways, Celipa was naturally humiliated and furious. But as Yuujin had pointed out, she now had no power to refuse him.

Back on Planet Vegeta, Celipa had controlled every aspect of Yuujin's life. If she had been in a bad mood, she could have easily killed him without consequence.

Now, the tables had turned. Yuujin was the one who controlled every aspect of Celipa's life.

If he wished, he could grant her a life of unparalleled luxury.

Or he could plunge her into a hell of despair and darkness.

But Yuujin had no saintly compassion, nor did he harbor any sadistic perversions. He simply needed more tools to further his ambitions, and Celipa happened to be a suitable candidate.

And so…

Since Yuujin had only recently visited Frieza's ship, he didn't linger there long this time. After greeting Launch and the others, he took Celipa back to Earth, along with Goku, Chi-Chi, and Vegeta.

"She's called Celipa. Like us, she's a surviving Saiyan," Yuujin said after arriving at the Lookout.

"Keep an eye on her. As long as she doesn't act out or try to escape, fulfill any requests she has."

Yuujin handed Celipa over to his two head maids, Suno and Meizhen, with these instructions.

While he planned to train Celipa into a useful tool, there was no rush. After over twenty years in stasis, she needed time to adapt to the shocking new realities. Meanwhile, Suno and Meizhen could teach her the rules of the Lookout.

"Yes, Master Yuujin," the two maids replied. Though they exchanged glances, they asked no further questions. Summoning two Red Silk Girls, they escorted Celipa away.

In the days that followed, Celipa settled into life at the Lookout.

At first, she thought Yuujin might have her strictly monitored or subjected to various forms of revenge for her past treatment of him. After all, she knew full well how she had mistreated him in the past, often venting her frustrations on him.

To her surprise, none of that happened. Just as Yuujin had instructed, as long as she didn't cause trouble, her every request was met.

Though baffled, Celipa found herself living a life of unprecedented comfort. She was waited on hand and foot, and her accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. Even King Vegeta likely hadn't enjoyed such extravagance.

But as a Saiyan who yearned for battle and freedom, Celipa wasn't about to be corrupted by these sugar-coated traps.

Did Yuujin really think he could tame her with mere luxuries? How naïve!

With no fear of mistreatment or danger, Celipa naturally began plotting her escape.

However, when she requested a scouter from one of the maids attending her, she quickly abandoned the idea.

The Lookout housed hundreds of individuals with battle powers exceeding 10,000. With her meager strength, escape was laughably impossible.

Realizing resistance was futile, Celipa resigned herself to her situation.

Each day, she wandered aimlessly around the Lookout, returning to her room to nap when bored. For the first time in her life, she experienced utter idleness. She felt like a caged pet, with nothing to do but exist.

Even so, she took the opportunity to learn more about Yuujin. She discovered how he had defeated the evil Demon King Piccolo and saved Earth, how he had vanquished invading Saiyans and even subjugated the proud Princess Vegeta, and how he had defeated the invincible Frieza, achieving the legendary Super Saiyan transformation.

Each revelation shocked Celipa to her core, leaving her numb.

Who could have imagined that the powerless child once scorned as a weakling without a tail could grow to accomplish such extraordinary feats?

Her feelings toward Yuujin became a tangled web of complexity.

But those feelings soon gave way to frustration.

It had been a month since she arrived at the Lookout. After dumping her here, Yuujin had completely ignored her, as if she didn't exist.

At first, she didn't mind. But after an entire month of doing nothing, Celipa was on the verge of losing her mind.

She was a Saiyan! She needed freedom! She needed battle!

"Damn you, Yuujin! If you're going to kill me, then do it already! Stop leaving me here to rot!"

Just as Celipa was about to reach her breaking point and considered causing a scene, a Red Silk Girl appeared with a message.

"Prepare yourself. The master wishes to see you," she announced upon entering Celipa's room.

"Finally!" Celipa exclaimed, leaping off her bed.

"That little brat finally decided to acknowledge my existence!"

"Not like that, you won't," the Battle Maiden said disdainfully, eyeing Celipa's disheveled appearance. "Get her cleaned up."

At her command, several maids entered the room. Ignoring Celipa's protests, they dragged her into the bathroom…
