The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system

Chapter 32: Never leaving

Under the keen watchful eyes of Wang Ma and her nanny, Alix went upstairs with a slight quiver in her legs. Going into the room when Caishen was not here felt like a violation, somehow.

Was it truly right for them to be sharing a bedroom already? All of that a husband and wife should live together bravado had long faded from her system.

Her long stemming cowardice had returned and she stood before the looming grey doors of the bedroom with an unsettled heart.

"You can sit outside and play the game, if it helps." The system suggested.

"It's all about the game with you." she mumbled.

"I am gaming system, duh!" it responded.

What else would it be all about if not for the thing it was created for.

Alix raised her right hand slowly, took one long calculated breath which made a slow high pitch sound at the end, like that of a whistle.

She turned the door knob and the door opened smoothly. It was so silent and smooth not like the old door at her former apartment which always squeaked in complaint of how old and rusted it was when she opened it.

Bravely advancing, she took a step forward while asking herself what exactly was there to fear. It was just an empty room after all.

The mild vanilla scent was what welcomed her first as it wafted out the open door.

"Aww, he always smells nice and even his room smells nice." she said to herself.

She knew herself as a bit of a messy person, throwing clothes on the floor, leaving dishes on the table. He was the opposite of her, very clean and organised.

The bedroom itself was extremely large, lending a new meaning to the word master bedroom. It was the size of three apartments put together.

"Do you see this little elf?" she gushed.

"I am not blind." the system responded sarcastically.

"My entire apartment can fit in his bathroom alone!!!" she gasped.

The walk in closet was deep, she felt as if she could get lost in it. Thankfully, it was brightly lit, and she could see vividly everything that was inside.

One side was filled with suits and another her clothes, shoes, bags.

As she explored inside, she noticed that new clothes, branded ones had been mixed in with her old ones.

It was the same for her bags and shoes, be it sandals, high heels or sneakers, she had new ones. Some had not even been unpacked.

When it came to the jewelry counter, it was not just Caishen's watches and thumb rings, she too had a section with earrings, bracelets, necklaces hand rings.

"Where did all this come from?" she asked herself. "Hey, blue smurf, do you think Caishen ordered these things for me?"

"Do you need me to look into it?" the blue elf asked.

"No," she answered after a brief pause. "I will ask him in person so that I can thank him properly."

From the closet, she finally came to the large soft bed on which she longed to throw herself onto like a child and maybe jump around.

"He sure does know how to live large." she muttered to herself.

It was not shocking, he was rich after all and everyone worked hard to make money so that they could live a comfortable life after all.

If she had money like this, she would definitely live the same way.

Her feet carried her to the balcony which was open, the drapes which covered it were flying as the wind blew through.

The view blew her mind, not only could she see parts of the city, she could also see the golf course and the pavilion.

"This has to be a killer view at night." she said.

"There is a safe behind the bed wall." Her system said.

Successfully, it had managed to seal off all her thoughts about the beautiful night view as she wondered why it was sharing that information. Was she supposed to rob him now that she knew he had a safe?

"I just thought you should know." It said.

"Sure," she responded, unsurely.

She closed the balcony doors and went into the bathroom for a shower. Caishen had said that he would be returning home for dinner.

She planned to emulate the wives in dramas, serve him dinner, engage in meaningful conversation and see where the night went.

The decision to take a bath that evening in Alix's opinion was probably the best that she had made. Never in her life had she used a multiple jet shower.

When she came out, she was giggling like a drunk.

"Blue elf, I think they will need a bulldozer to get me out of this house. I am never leaving," she slurred and laughed.

She wanted to wear one of the new dresses but unsure of the source, she chose not to. Still, she wanted something beautiful for the celebration of her moving in.

Alix got her phone and went to the gaming world.

"Hey, blue elf, I need a dress."

"You want to spend your gaming money on a dress, isn't that a waste?" it responded.

"It's just a few coins. As soon as I sell that red diamond we will have more gaming money."

She had been victorious in the game today and won the ultimate level one prize, she deserved to treat herself to something nice.

"Ooh, and the gift I got, what is it?" Suddenly filled with excitement, she shook her arms.

"You are like a puppy wagging her tail." the elf said in a snarky tone.

"Don't care, puppies are cute." she answered.

"Gifts from your fans are not lucky items, they are ordinary but since your world is low tech, to you they are extraordinary. Your fan sent a face and body cream with the message attached saying, your real life image is not satisfactory."

For the second time that day, someone had taken a shot at her looks. First Holea and now this anonymous fan.

"Tell the fan I said thank you." she responded in a soft but kind of unhappy voice.

Was her skin that terrible?

"You have dry skin....." The blue elf, having her thoughts started going into a rant on all the ways in which her skin was lacking.

"Don't_" Alix uttered loudly.
