The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system

Chapter 197: Raining chicken from the sky.

Fifteen minutes later, Alix and Pang Jin De were on the side lines, yelling out encouragement to So Mi. They were already twenty seven minutes into the assigned time for accomplishing the task and they were one of two teams that were close to finishing.

"Down, down, down." Alix chanted.

"Little superwoman, this is your second warning." The director announced.

Alix stuck her tongue out and laughed. She thought she was being subtle in the way she was giving So Mi directions. Initially, she had openly given her five clues before the director gave her a first warning.

She thought that if maybe she was stealth about it, he wouldn't notice.

"Calm down, she is almost there." Pang Ji De told her.

Alix nodded and strolled over to another team which was almost finished. It was the team of veteran actor Achi Kang. Their guest was former army ranger turned actor Xi Pei. It was not much of a surprise to her that they were among those to finish quickly. Achi Kang was just as competitive as Pang Ji De, maybe even more.

Achi stepped in front of Alix and blocked her view of his team's puzzle.

The puzzles were being assembled on the ground so she couldn't she much with someone standing in front of her.

"Hello teacher Kang." She said in a soft voice.

"Tsk, tsk, I fear you more than I fear Ji De. Teacher Xi Xi, please go away." he waved his hands, gesturing for her to step back.

She smiled and returned to her team.

"What were you looking for there?" Pang Ji De asked her.

"Comparing progress." she answered.

She wished so much that she could replace So Mi and finish off the puzzle in ten seconds. With the system, how could she fail to connect the dots?

"I cheated for you in the first task and you want to keep going. Just be satisfied that I got you here." The blue elf told her.

"You are a cheating system, what else do I need you for if not to cheat?" she replied.

She was vibrating with nerves so she stretched her body from side to side. Then she stood up and jumped, doing spirit fingers as if she was a cheer leader. "Go So Mi, go." she broke into a chant and cheered. "We are going all the way up."

"Teacher Xi Xi from team five has been banned from the auditorium floor for five minutes." The director announced suddenly.

Alix whirled around with her hands spread out and a genuine look of confusion on her face. "What have I done director?"

"You mentioned a direction." he replied.

"But it's not a clue." she whined.

In this case, it really wasn't a clue and she was being wronged. No, she was misunderstood and banned unfairly.

"Go, I got it." Pang Ji De told her.

Alix bent her head and shoulders, and she walked all the way to where Bi Cang was sitting, guarding her personal property. She took off her shoes and stood on one of the seats, hoping that she did not end up breaking it. Her face fell as Achi Kang's team quickly claimed first place. It took thirty five minutes for their team to make it.

"Cheer up madam." he said to her.

Alix nodded and craned her neck. "Please, So Mi, please." she muttered.

The universe answered her prayers because So Mi run all the way to the buzzer and pressed it, two minutes after the first team.

Pang Ji De turned around and gave her a thumbs up. Alix returned it before taking a deep breath. She stepped down from the chair and put her shoes back on. It was her cue to leave. Normally, she didn't stick around unless the director asked her to do so.

"Wait, just a quick word." The director's assistant stopped her.

She nodded and patted Majesty's head.

"How did you feel when you were put in a time out?"

"Unfair. I really wasn't giving So Mi a clue. The director misunderstood me completely." she answered with a pained look on her face. "I should sue him for this."

The camera man chortled and folded his mouth when the assistant glared at him.

"Congratulations on your team advancing." She said.

"Thank you." she answered.

She thought the questions were done but then another one was fired off.

"Do you want to talk about what happened with miss Lin Billi?"

"Why would I talk about it?" she reiterated.

"Ah Ci and miss Billi say you deliberately pushed her so that the puzzle piece would fall out of her hands."

Alix scoffed and rolled her eyes. "A pair of drama queens is what they are. If that was my aim, I would have slapped it out of her hands without hesitation, then stomped it with my feet to ensure that their team doesn't stand a chance."

"Err...., ha-ha." the director's assistant laughed and asked the camera man to cut off from there.

A few minutes later, Alix was in the car, connected to the virtual world and on her way to Fuwen academy. Normally, when she was playing, Majesty was well behaved however toady, the cat was rather feisty. She was using her phone to play and the cat kept touching the screen, swiping expertly.

"No, Majesty, stop it."

Her words were just a bit late as it sent the one dagger which she kept around her belt flying and it stabbed a bird that was flying by in the air.

"Now look what you have done." she cried out.

Meow, it replied.

"I have helped you human, now you can afford to pay for my food." The cat answered arrogantly.

"Huh!" a confused Alix replied.

[Congratulations player Alix for slaying the camouflaged golden surprise chicken.]

An announcement was made in the game as the chicken fell down to the ground. More than one chicken fell from the sky she had to step aside to use a blocking spell to keep them from landing on her head.

"What did you do Majesty?" she asked, a bit perplexed.

The dead chickens on the ground disappeared and in their place stood one large chicken with reddish feathers and long claws.

"Wow, you got the lucky golden surprise chicken." The blue elf finally chipped in. "It's eggs can contain a gold nugget or a chick depending on your luck. Eating it's egg can fill one's stomach for a whole day and fix whatever is ill in your stomach. It's an elixir that can be sold in every gaming universe. Point to note, the one who owns a golden surprise chicken will never go hungry."

She looked at the chicken and it looked back at her. Both of them seemingly surprised that they had ended up together.

She figured that she could put the surprise chicken away and figure it out later. When she tried to touch it, it jumped away and then spread it's wings and clucked threateningly.

"Right, that thing is untamable, it will scratch you before letting you touch it."

She reached both hands out to try again but it swiped it's claws at her and almost succeeded this time in injuring her.

She decided to try something else so she got a flute to play music and trap it. Alix sneered and cranked her neck from side to side. Between the chicken and her, she would see who would outwit the the other.
