Chapter 414: Forced Sun vs Dying Star.
"Impressive," Sol had one hand shielding his eyes and the other grasping Arla's tightly, staring in the air as they both watched Ikaris and Dina go at it. "I never thought that I would be able to see the day those two take a fight seriously against each other."
"Milady has requested a feiendly duel with Dina in the past, but she has always been too afraid."
"I know that much, but just look at her now; she doesn't even know her own powers and limits," Sol grinned, pulling arla closer to himself and kissing the side of her head. "Let's regroup with the others, Xie said somethin ginteresting and I want to talk t him about it.
"Ah, yes," Arla smiled. "I often forget that we are within your soul, you are aware of everything which happens in this plain," She looked up at him, seeing the destroyed environment around them shift with passing lights before the two of them appeared inside of the bubble with the others.
"Master-" Fuhua attempted to approach, but was beaten by Sara and Talia.
"You have returned," Sara stood before Sol, smiling while he rested his hands on Talia's and her head. "Mister Xie said something rather interesting a while ago."
"I heard, and although it's a little hard to believe, I understand what he means, the power I sense within her will definitely surpass my peak, wherever that may lie," Sol agreed making everyone warily glance at him since he was not even supposed to know.
"Papa..." Talia reached for him, and Sol smiled at the litttle girl, extending his hands and stepping several paces backwards causing the sphere they stood in to expand to accomodate his actions.
"Come, Talia." Sol called her, and happily she leapt from Sara's hands floating slowly and sloppily over to him.
"No matter how many times I see her do it, I am still baffled, she is still under a year old, even with all the promises and implications made from her existence, just the thought is... chilling." Yu commented, watching Sol praise Talia who soaked up the attention from her father with bright smiles and cheering.
"Here," Sol pheld her properly and rested a [Mana Orb] in her grasp, it was not somethign she could create yet, but she had always loved them, specifically his which was rich with Godslayer and Light mana.
"Mmm!" Talia surpsised Sol when rather than play with the mana like she used to she took a bite of it and began absorbing it directly into her core. "Mmm!" She exclaimed again, taking another bite.
"What the heck...?"

"Ha!" Ikaris repelled Dina landing on the regenerating surface of New Atla and flashing her hands again while her opponent did the same several paces away, glancing around and fanning a flame that had been lit on her armour after their last clash.
"There's no getting through to you, huh?" Dina smiled with a huff. "It reminds me of that time I chucked a moon at Keele, that was hard, even after I healed I felt the strain of that for weeks."
"It was nothing you cooudn't handle though," Ikaris smiled. "Are you going to continue?" She asked, raising and staring at her hand, more specifically the light cast by the halo behind her which reflected off the arm guard.
"Of course, I know you wanted a duel purely for the release of stress, but I think I'm on to something here; a new discovery, so..."
"you needn't say more, Dina, I know that the midst of a fight is where your light shines brightest, you and Arla have that trait in common, I will play the test subject and humour your creativity, shall i be offensive or defensive?"
"Both, just like we've been fighting for the last hour, let's keep raising the pace and momentum," Dina raised her hands to her side.
[Mana Spheres, Origin Explosions]
[Combination magic; Great Calamity]
All of the spheres and [Origin Explosions began merging into one large ball while dina left it behind, charging at Ikaris.
"Interesting-" Ikaris leapt backwards, leaving a copy of herself made of mana just before Dina could reach her, watching the mage halt and raise a [Mana Shield] to defend as the clone exploded. "I wonder what that one will do," She thought. "I hope it di=oes not totally destroy Atla's core, otherwise I will have to recreate another comolex body to replace her."
"They've already destroyed half of atla overall, but it keeps regenerating," Sol stared at the planet below them.
"Milady used a minor part of her divine tree to forge a self aware planetary body, New Atla has a mind and can use, absorb and replenish the mana in the surroundings," Alpha answered.
"So that was the other consciousness I kept sensing?" Xie stared in awe. "Is that not dangerous, from what I know, sentient planets are rare and intelligent bodies with a very low tollerance for pain because of their organs, th evegetation being on the outside of the crust.
"Atla has no such weakness, aside from the mana core within her which is the size of a fist, she does not house organs, she is solely reliant on mana for survival, and she does not feel pain, a decision Milady made after taking into consideration the possibility of several fights happening here." Arla answered.
"She exists purely by Lady Ikaris's will, a great servant born of her desire to keep her homeworld from being destroyed again."
"Atla Lives."

At this notification, everyone began paying attention again, watching Ikaris descend with a ball of white flames grasped tightly in her hand, shining brightly through the gaps in her fingers.

Dina's new technique went off as well, causing the large sphere she had left behind to appear above her, condensing until it was similar in size to the one Ikaris was descending with.
"Forced Sun," Ikaris released her perfect cast at dina like a projectile.
"Dying Star!" Dina, in a show of strength that not even Ikaris had expected, caught the [Forced Sun] with her other hand, preventing it from exploding diffusing the mana that held the violent properties within it.
"Let's see then!" Ikaris while still descending created another [Forced Sun] grinning wildly when her cast clashed with Dina's [Dying Star].
