Chapter 20: **Notice**
Hey everyone,
I hope you're all doing well! You might have noticed that I haven't been uploading recently. Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen circumstances, I won't be able to write until the 28th of this month. I know this is a bit abrupt, but sometimes life just gets in the way.
Believe me, I'm just as eager to finish this volume as you are to read it. However, I am unable to write for now. I appreciate your understanding and patience during this period.
In the meantime, let's use this chapter as an open discussion for future arcs and plot ideas. I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. To give you a bit of a roadmap, Volume 1 will wrap up in a single chapter after the current flashback chapters end, with no other major events happening after that.
Frankly, although I had Volume 1 almost in the bag since the beginning, I have literally no idea about how to write the story going forward, and I have been overthinking myself into creative blocks. Something like - 'What if this doesn't work going forward?'
The most important thing I'd like to know is, according to Andrej Sapkowski's latest addition to the Witcher collection Rozdroże kruków (English unofficial translation Raven's Crossing/Crossroads or Crossing of the Ravens/Crows), Geralt was born in 1211.
Originally, I was planning to include Geralt among the witchers that return from the path after the pogrom. Since he was selected by the 'mages' at Kaer Morhen for further mutations according to lore, I figured it would have happened before the pogrom. Let me know what you guys think about it. When do you want the original main character to be introduced, 1211 or right now?
So feel free to share what characters you would like to see more of, or any speculations and suggestions about the direction of the current characters and storyline. Your thoughts and ideas are invaluable and can help shape the story moving forward.
Thank you so much for your patience and support! Your enthusiasm means the world to me, and I can't wait to get back to writing.
