Hecate's glass jar-like Soul Constitution was called the Rigid Soul by some beings. Its nature resisted change and was vulnerable to shattering if forcefully applied.

Third-dimensional beings normally could not perceive such forces, but they have always existed. Since they couldn't be perceived, no one could discover or prove their existence. As such, they remained non-existent and unknown.

That was the realm of nihility.

The realm of nihility wasn't simply about the state of nothingness; it encompassed the undiscovered, unobservable, and unimaginable—Everything that people didn't know was possible or existed.

It was also the key to understanding and interacting with the higher dimension.

Since it was a concept far removed from the third physical dimension, it could only be perceived and understood through the powerful visualization of a creative mind. Only the virtual realm of imagination was not bound by anything like the shackling laws of the third physical dimension.

Inside the realm of imagination, a worthless pebble could suddenly become an object of more value, like gold.

Of course, this could also be achieved in reality and not just imagination.

The power of mana allowed the denizens of Chaos to command magic, the process of imposing their wills on the world and turning the imaginary into reality.

In Chaos, anything seemed possible with the use of mana and a sufficiently high level of existence.

However, due to their heavy dependence on mana, most denizens of Chaos also became shackled in their thinking, treating mana as something that has always existed.

As someone quite knowledgeable, Hecate had come to realize that while mana was native to Chaos, it was not natural. Just looking into the history of every chaosverse before their integration with Chaos would prove this.

She was led to believe that the mana that everyone took for granted may have been a source of power that higher beings like the Lord of Chaos had refined and drawn from the realm of nihility.

Although everyone understood the power of nihility that lay outside Chaos could erase anyone and anything from existence, Hecate had never really understood the process of erasure until Vaan enlightened her.

The concept of objects disappearing into non-existence when reaching an unimaginably high speed had allowed Hecate to perceive matters differently.

Planets orbited the stars, and stars orbited black holes.

Chaos was filled with galaxies, each having a super black hole that countless stars revolved around.

If a mortal drifted off-planet, they might not feel or realize it, but they were actually traveling at an incredibly high speed as their home planet dragged them along in its orbit around the local star.

Suppose they drifted out of the star system. In that case, they could be moving at an even greater speed as they get dragged into the cosmic shift of their local galaxy along with the rest of the stars that orbited the super black hole at its center.

All the celestial bodies in a chaosverse seemed to orbit something greater. In that case, what did the chaosverses orbit prior to their integration?

More importantly, what was Chaos currently orbiting after tying all these chaosverses together?

Although Hecate wouldn't know what that something was, she could at least assume Chaos was moving at an incomprehensibly and unimaginably high speed that could be thousands or even millions of times greater than the speed of light.

At this level of speed, even a dust particle could turn into the most lethal piercing projectile.

Who knew how much nihility dust smashed into a person to completely obliterate them from existence in an instant once they escaped the protective boundaries of Chaos?

Hecate didn't know the precise numbers, but she believed that simulating the destructive power of nihility in her mind helped her comprehend the Nihility Law.

In the past days or weeks, she had remained completely still in the isolated chamber of darkness, her eyes closed. Solitude surrounded her, and emptiness filled her being, but no loneliness entered her heart.

She was deeply immersed in her visual simulations and couldn't even tell the passage of time.
