Chapter 3: Chapter 3 : " Gremory "
"Sylvia?? What do you mean??!"
Karl shouted.
"Open the book in front of you when you wake up."
As Karl von Marx's consciousness and body disappeared, he spoke these words.
"M...!!!"
Break!!!!!
The black void cracked open...
"Oh!!! What do you mean??!!!!"
In a luxurious room, a boy with red hair and golden eyes woke up. If not Karl, who else?
"Well, it seems I really have been reincarnated in his place! Damn it!" Karl cursed.
Then he began examining his body.
"Karl's physique is very strong, which is why he had such a strong presence in this game. He was difficult to defeat in direct confrontations, and Sylvia and the heroines suffered at times.
It can be said that Karl von Marx was a well-rounded character. He was a military expert and an extremely intelligent strategist.
Most of the battles that the Human Empire won against the demons were won by Karl von Marx.
But what Karl von Marx lacked was love.
Despite his great physical strength, he was extremely weak due to love.
Of course, all the girls Karl von Marx loved were the heroines of the story.
Except for the main character.
I really didn't understand why Karl von Marx didn't like the main character, or the supporting characters like the maid, Kala.
In fact, Kala is a very beautiful character, with her pure white hair that resembles cotton and her blue eyes that everyone falls in love with.
I don't know how he couldn't love her and treated her with such coldness. And cruelty, instead of the stupid heroines, who were like a licking dog.
What's the point of being a military expert and a brilliant strategist when you're a licking dog for naive lesbian women?
Damn it!!
But I don't blame him either. One of the heroines was his older sister, fiancée, and mentor.
Of course, who wouldn't follow their sister, their mentor, and their fiancée?
The answer is obvious.
But from my perspective, and while playing this game, I saw that Kala was the perfect character.
She followed Karl von Marx with all her might, even sacrificing her life for him, after he was accused of treason, to allow him to escape.
But the fool repaid her life by committing suicide after learning that the forces following him had turned against him and surrounded him.
So I must avoid that."
After saying these words, Karl looked at the luxurious room in which he slept.
"The room is truly beautiful, how beautiful is the life of the nobles," said Karl.
Then, after Karl got up from the bed he was sleeping in.
Get up!!
Fall!!
As soon as Karl got up from the bed, he heard something fall.
He looked down and found that the object that had fallen was a black book titled "Gremory."
After Karl von Marx saw this book, he remembered:
"Open this book!!"
He remembered the words the other Karl had said to him.
"Damn it, have you forgotten that bastard's words?" Karl cursed.
Then he picked up the book.
As he came to open it, he couldn't.
"Damn it, why won't he open this damn book!!" Karl shouted angrily.
Then he found a phrase written on the cover of the book:
"Give me some blood."
After reading these words, Karl cursed.
"Damn it, don't these fools know how valuable blood is?"
Then he bit his finger to draw blood.
Once the blood flowed from his finger, he dropped a few drops of it into the book.
The book opened with the following words:
[Hello, Karl, I am Karl von Marx's final testament to you in this world. I can offer you advice to become stronger, but I cannot provide you with magical tools and abilities.]
"What do you mean by that, book?" Karl asked.
[By that, I mean that I'm not like the systems of the other games you played in your previous life. In other words, you can consider me your system, but I don't give you power or add anything to you, because the power comes from you, Karl.]
"Okay, I understand, book," Karl replied.
"You can call me Grimory, just as I can call you Master, because I am Karl von Marx's property, which has been transferred to you."
"Okay, Grimory, then you can answer the questions I was going to ask Karl," Karl said.
"Yes, but there are some questions I can't answer, Master."
"Okay, then, Grimory, what are the laws of space?" Karl asked.
"I can't answer that, Master, because the laws of space are related to =¥€^."
"What's happening to you, Grimory?" Karl asked.
[I just wanted to show you, sir, that I can't answer questions that I can't answer with this evidence.] Gremory replied.
"Well, I'm not doubting you, Gremory, but could you please show me my case?" Carl said.
[Yes.]
"Then show me," Carl said.
After Carl spoke, Gremory opened a page that read:
Name: Karl von Marx.
Age: 15
Strength: C+ (Curse: F+).
Skill: A-
Memories: Sealed.
Intelligence: A
Personality Quotient:
Karl von Marx: 25%
Karl: 75%
[Sir, since you've played this game, you truly know the reason for the curse.]
"Yes, all of that, because of the kidnapping incident that happened to Carl when he was eight years old, after he was kidnapped by witch cultists.
The reason Carl was kidnapped—not just Carl, but also his fiancée, Annabelle von Reis, who is one of the heroines of this gay game—is because they possess powers that can be sacrificed to the witches.
Witches are also companions of demons in this game.
Annabelle, Carl's fiancée, was able to escape through the main character.
Of course, to make the relationship between the main character and the heroine strong, there must be a situation that makes them fall in love with each other.
And this is the appropriate situation for that.
The main character saved Annabelle, while Carl, whom Annabelle believed had escaped and whom she hated for that reason, was being tortured in order to save her.
You may not understand what happened, but Carl was actually looking for a way to escape for himself and Annabelle, but he was caught, and the witch cultists did just that. He was tortured in various ways and cursed with this curse.
However, it was not mentioned how Carl managed to escape from the hands of the witch-worshippers, but it was revealed that his father had a role in it.
After Carl mentioned all these reasons, he looked at Gremory and said:
"Gremory, do you know how I saved Carl from the hands of the witch-worshippers???"
[I apologize, sir, but I also cannot answer your questions about your past, as they are sealed.]
"Damn it!!" Carl cursed.
[But there is a way, sir.]
"What is it, Gremory?" Carl asked, looking at Gremory with a look that indicated he viewed Gremory as useless.
[The way, sir, is for you to level up.]
"But my level is high, Gremory," Carl replied.
[Sir, C for Demon King, Final Boss, and Main Character is like a bug.]
"Oh, damn it!!" Carl cursed.
[But, my lord, you can also lift the curse you were cursed with.]
"Gremory, do you really think I don't know that? I played the game, and I know how to undo it," Carl replied.
[I apologize, my lord. You may now see me as useless to you.]"
Gremory said this, his face betraying disappointment and sadness.
"Never mind, Gremory. I may see you as a useless book, or a little bit of my blood being wasted on it, but, Gremory, can you answer my question?" Carl said, his face sad.
[I may, my lord. Ask me," Gremory replied.
"Well, Gremory, when I was in the Void and it began to crack, the other Carl told me about Sylvia, and why I should be wary of her?" Carl asked, afraid that Gremory would not answer his question.
[Because it will destroy this world] Gremory replied.
"What???"
