Chapter 19: Vol. 1: Chp 19 Rescue

WITH TEAM C

Akogare, Meisei, and Ms. Manabu are seen hovering over the Kodaina forest, being transported around on a towering stone tower. All three have been scouring the forest in search of the other students and possibly anyone else who is currently in the vicinity.

As they were looking all around them from above, they spotted a fast-moving entity. Jumping from tree to tree, taking notice of it. Ms. Manabu started to make all three of them descend, moving at a quicker pace. Gaining on the fast-moving entity.

As the three were closing in on the entity, a green light shined brightly, then a green beam made contact with the tall stone slab. Making the three fall due to the collapse of the towering stone, as the three were falling, Akogare created two whips, one being 6-foot long, and wrapping it around Manabu and Meisei. Then using his second whip, which was a surprising 15 feet in length, and then wrapping that around the part of the stone tower that was left.

As Akogare attempted to pull them towards the stone tower, he noticed that pieces of destroyed stone were falling. He then noticed that one particular slab of stone was hailing from the sky right above them, with the speed that the stone slab was moving at. He couldn't even process that he was about to get hit, until.

*SWOOSH*

*CRACK*

The previously falling stone slab was now in pieces, looking down. Akogare noticed that Meisei had his arms free and was creating arrows and drawing them back, shooting them at falling debris.

"Pay attention to getting us close to the giant stone structure, I'll keep the debris off of us!" ordered and informed Meisei, also giving Manabu an idea.

"Once we get close enough, I'll grab us with the stone. But from this far, we'll die if I attempt that due to hitting the stone too hard!" Announced Ms. Manabu, only getting a faint nod from both of the students.

With Akogare reeling them closer to the stone tower, Ms. Manabu pushed out one free hand that wasn't tied up in the whip and started to control parts of the stone from the giant structure. Making a platform of stone, Akogare directed himself to land on the flat surface of the platform and somewhat harshly make contact with the stone and roll forward, letting go of both whips and putting his hand on the platform to form friction.

The same effect was caused to Ms. Manabu and Meisei, both roughly hitting the stone platform but still being able to safely stand up afterward. "Are you both injured?" questioned Ms. Manabu, checking up on the first years.

"I'm okay/I'm fine." Answered both of the students,

"Good, I'm going to get us closer to the ground. That person we seen is clearly hostile and I can't risk you two getting injured." Ms. Manabu declared, using a pretty stern voice,

"Understood" Both of the students again answered,

Shortly after the students' response, all three of them started to descend the giant tower of stone. Keeping a keen eye out of any more danger, as they were descending. Meisei spotted two people walking down a path in the forest, noting where they were, Meisei reported it to Manabu.

"Ms. Manabu, I see two people walking through the forest! It could be our classmates!" Informed Meisei, earning a quick nod from Manabu,

"Show me where they are."

WITH TEAM A

"Was it this way?" Asked Tanjo,

Currently, Tanjo and Naderamu were heading in the direction of a loud explosion they heard, hoping to find others. They're both attempting to find the source of the sound, "It should be." Answered Naderamu.

As they were walking in the same direction, they both noticed the sun get blocked. Causing everything around them to go dark, looking to see the cause, They noticed a giant, nearly destroyed, stone structure with debris occasionally falling off the edges.

"What the...!?" Naderamu questioned, confused as to what could've happened to cause that amount of stone to be produced and destroyed, 'Was that what caused the sound?' Naderamu thought to herself.

"Come on, let's keep movin-Ow" Tanjo began to order, but then being stopped by getting hit on top of the head by a.... pebble?

"Up here!" Hollered a familiar loud-mouth,

Looking up, Tanjo and Naderamu noticed three familiar people standing on top of a stone platform, Naguru Akogare, Ninki Meisei, and Ms. Manabu, each slowly descending to the ground. "We're gathering up all of the students and leaving the forest immediately." Informed Manabu, confusing team A.

"Why, what happened?" Tanjo queried, wondering what could've happened to gain the attention of the school principal.

"We'll explain later, in the meantime. We need to find your classmates," Ms. Manabu responded, brushing off the question Tanjo asked for later,

Just as Tanjo and Naderamu decided to join the three onto the stone platform, a feminine voice hollered out from the trees.

"WAIT!"

With all heads now facing the direction of the voice, three of the five standing on guard. They witnessed a familiar 'cat-girl' appear out from the shadows of the forest, Shizen Utsukushi, alongside another familiar person. "We spotted you guys not too long ago, we got lost and decided to ask for us to band together," The new person emotionlessly informed, now being recognized as Senko Sukudo.

"Perfect, is there anyone else we should be looking for?" Asked Ms. Manabu, thanking the gods for this coincidence.

"No, except for our teacher, Mr. Oshieru." Answered Sukudo, receiving a nod and a gesture to come forward from Ms. Manabu.

"All right, now step onto the platform and we'll get out of here as soon as possible."

Once all of the students were now on the platform, Ms. Manabu started to make the platform ascend once again, but only just cautiously being above the trees. As they were traveling out of the forest, Manabu mentally felt relieved.

'I did it, Kami, I kept the students safe.'
