BOOM…!!!

Clashing head-on with a creature far stronger than Alex was a crazy move. However, that didn't matter to Alex one bit.

Whether he was facing one void creature of a hundred did not matter. So long as he was inside his domain and had all the energy he needed, he was unstoppable.

SCREECH…!

The void creature let out a loud screech in shock, blown backwards from the clash that should have been in its victory. Unfortunately for the void creatures, that was just the beginning.

As soon as the first creature was dealt with, Alex spun around with his spear and swung it in a wide horizontal arc.

From the spear came a powerful light arc that instantaneously inflicted deep cuts across the chest of all twelve void creatures, regardless of which way they came at Alex. Dark blood gushed out of the opened wounds as the creatures were blown away by the tremendous force.

Coming to a stop a few million kilometres away from Alex, the void creatures hissed and growled at him. They disregarded their open wounds and charged at Alex once more.

'Yeah, that's right. Keep coming…' Alex thought with a smirk, brandishing his spear as he assumed a throwing stance, his essence gathering at the tip of the spear.

Despite how easy it looked, Alex could feel his core rotate faster than ever. With every more the void creatures made, he felt seas of his energy get drained by the second.

That was how powerful the void creatures were; they were practically forcing Alex to directly convert the void energy he absorbed into Nexis Radiant in real time.

Alex aimed his spear at one of the creatures charging at him and hurled it at the creature with the might of a universe, the force violently dispelling the surrounding energy.

SCREECH…!

The targeted void creature screeched and then took a swipe at the spear with its powerful claws. However, the unexpected happened.

Despite nearly no time elapsing from that spear throw, the moment it arrived before the void creature's claws, it swirled around the clawed hands and went for the head.

BOOM!

In a gory explosion of void flesh and dark blood, the creature's momentum was broken, blasting the headless body into the distance. At the same time, Alex focused on the other eleven creatures coming at him from all sides.

The distance between them may be incredibly vast, but it was meaningless to beings of their level. With barely a picosecond passing from the moment Alex threw his spear, the void creatures had already surrounded Alex, their claws lunged at him.

Their claws gleamed in the dark essence of their core as they aimed to tear through Alex without mercy.

"You'd like that, won't you?" Alex snorted as he made his move.

Behind the barrier, the Supreme One watched the fight with calm eyes, analysing every move Alex made as his understanding of Alexander's domain deepened.

'Interesting…' He pondered with a slight smile. 'Despite how powerful the creatures are, it's all useless inside that domain of his.

'From the very start, he has had them playing in the palm of his hands. What a terrifying essence…' The Supreme One couldn't help but comment.

When he asked Alex to show himself at his strongest, he didn't think it would be in such a fashion.

While everyone was borrowing the power of the void to use for themselves, Alex was his very own energy.

He was giving the impression that his domain allowed him to match the creatures, but that was far from the truth. What was really happening was that every inch of that domain could be said to be Alex.

Inside the domain, speed and power were meaningless. You could be faster than Alex, but Alex didn't have to physically move his body. He existed everywhere at once; he could be one man or he could be an army.

He could decide to attack one creature, and all the others would be affected. And that was exactly what Alex did next.

BOOM!

With a calm demeanour, Alex stood tall and caught the dark claw of one of the void creatures, instantly breaking its momentum and the momentum of the others.

The creatures froze in space, unable to free themselves. A low, confused growl escaped the void creatures as they 'glared' at Alex.

'One for all…' Alex mused with a confident grin. He drew his right hand back and gathered a bit of his essence in his palm.

SCREECH…!

As if the creatures could sense what was about to happen next, they let out desperate cries as they struggled to break free.

"Don't worry, I'm not killing you yet," Alex said as if to comfort them and then struck multiple areas with deadly precision, each strike capable of collapsing a universe.

A strike to the gut tore a hole through the void creature, two to the shoulders blew the arms away, and another to the left and right chest tore through them as well.

With each blow dealt, the remaining void creatures experienced the same. Black blood splattered everywhere as the creatures screeched in agony.

"Too noisy!"

BOOM!

A final strike to the head silenced them all, leaving all eleven headless and limbless. Counting the first to have its head blown off, all twelve void creatures were incapacitated.

The creatures were still alive as Alex left their dark cores intact. However, they could no longer fight. Except for the first void creature, the remaining creatures lost their limbs in addition to their heads.

There was no way they were regenerating from such wounds. Alex's lingering essence made sure to halt any regenerative power the creatures had. Had it been void energy, they would have regenerated already.

The bodies of the void creatures continuously twitched and lost blood as they floated helplessly around Alex, who stood tall and victorious. In his mind, however…

'Fucking hell…!' He inwardly cried. 'This fight took more than a universe's worth of essence! Just how strong are these monsters?!'

The fight lasted less than two seconds. However, with how powerful the creatures were, the amount of essence Alex had to use was insane.

'I have to become independent…' It would be disastrous if his supply of void energy were ever cut off. 'Running out of energy should never be an option…'
