The Ultimate Saiyan

#TIMESKIP 3 MONTHS IN THE CHAMBER#

#VEGITO POV#

I pant as the exhaustion makes me fall to the ground on my back

I do everything I can to keep Super Saiyan going for as long as possible but I let go of the transformation as it becomes clear to me that I can't keep it up anymore

I have held the transformation for around 2 days now or 3

I don't know it's been some time since Gohan and I started training again after we really hurt each other while training

I can't believe I wasted a week recovering from injuries

Still...I can't deny that everything else has helped

Quite frankly, I am sure that Gohan and I could go and destroy the androids ourselves but we have the whole year, I managed to convince Gohan to stay in it

He wanted to stay only for 6 months 

It was a hassle convincing him to stay for the whole year

At least, I hope I did

I made sure to teach Gohan the very bare bones of Spirit Control

He is still slightly stronger than me

But, my inherited skills from Goku and Vegeta help me close that gap

So really, we are about even

"Vegito," I hear Gohan call out so I turn to him

"Its about to go out," He says and I think for a moment about what he means before I remember

The beacon

Damn again

I stand up quickly and bring my index and middle finger to my forehead

Using Instant Transmission which, unfortunately, I have only been able to use for about a total 3 weeks now, still takes me around 3 minutes to focus and home in on the beacon

Soon, I teleport to the Safe Area of the chamber

I bring up my hand and begin making another beacon

I watch as the other fizzles out of existence but it is no longer necessary as I feel Gohan making his way over as he tracks my energy in order to find this place

Thanks to the beacon, we can go a lot further away from the safe area 

I finish making the beacon and I put in a lot more power since I am going to sleep anyways

As I finish the beacon, I let out a few pants of exhaustion as my vision starts going black around the edges

I walk to my bed slowly and let myself just drop in once my legs hit the side of it

As I fall asleep, I hear Gohan arrive...

#TIMESKIP 6 MONTHS LATER TOTAL 9 DAYS INSIDE OF THE TIME CHAMBER#

I stare at Gohan while he is transformed

His golden hair is spikier than usual and the golden aura is much denser than before

He also has lightning arching across his entire body

Holy shit

He did it

He turned into a Super Saiyan 2

"So...this is what my father wanted to achieve," He says with awe and sadness in his voice

But...I don't miss the aggression in his voice

"Gohan," I call out to him

"What?" He responds which makes me blink but then I sigh

"The anger," I say plainly looking at him seriously while we stare at each other

After a minute or so, he looks down and takes a deep breath as the golden Ki aura around him disappears as he nods at me before levitating a bit of the ground for this next part

Meditating while in Super Saiyan 2

I told him that if he did achieve it, he would need to increase his mastery to at least half of his Super Saiyan 1

He did experience surges in power as we trained and I did see him turn Super Saiyan 2 for a very short moment that I would have missed entirely

I stare at him as a weight seems to lift off my shoulders

With Gohan a Super Saiyan 2 the androids are done for

That doesn't mean I will take it easy, oh no, I have to reach Super Saiyan 2 myself

Although, I may have bypassed that entirely

Ever since confronting the androids and using the Kaio-ken in Super Saiyan, I have been pushing myself to improve my Ki control and keep up Super Saiyan at all times

I have succeeded

My Ki control has improved so much that the power I have now is easy to manage this

"Kaio-Ken," I say as my body gains a red tint

Unfortunately, I can use the starting level of Kaio-Ken safely while in Super Saiyan with only my stamina suffering

I can use Kaio-Kenx2 but at that point, it is incredibly dangerous for me

Kaio-ken's power doesn't come cheap, at a certain point the technique will turn into a double edge sword

It demands an impossibly high level of physical excellence

One thing that I noticed while working it out was that Super Saiyan seems to be more about the energy being increased with the body being enhanced as a side effect

The Kaio-ken forcefully strains a person's physical capabilities

Finding a balance to start with helped me come to a conclusion

Super Saiyan is mainly an energy-based transformation with the body being enhanced as a side effect while remaining largely the same

I know of a transformation that affects everything about a Saiyan

The Great Ape transformation

A form that is completely different from Super Saiyan yet, can be used to achieve their ultimate form

Super Saiyan 4

What if the Great Ape is pushed to its limits too

From what I can remember Vegeta even used the Galick Gun a few times while he was learning to keep his mind in Great Ape form

I shake my head lightly as I force those thoughts to the back of my mind

I take a deep breath as I let go of Kaio-ken I start sweating a lot

So much so that my shirt is clinging to me

"Huh, you kept it up for around 20 minutes or so," I hear Gohan say on the ground taking a break

I turn to look at him sitting down while he is still in Super Saiyan

"Too much?"

"Yeah," He answers

"Alright...

#TIMESKIP FINAL DAY INSIDE THE TIME CHAMBER#

"This is it," I say relaxing on the bed as I look at the ceiling

I resist the urge to break down the door and get the hell out of here

This past year has been incredibly useful but it's just too damn much

The other day I was literally arguing with my own echo

Gohan had to knock me out of my temporary insanity

I take deep breathe as I let go of Super Saiyan for the first time in months

Immediately, my body relaxes even more

I smile at the sensation

Wow, it feels like I just finished a very long walk and sat down after a long time

"You really want to get out of here, huh," Gohan jokes while I sit up from my bed

"YES, I CAN'T STAND BEING IN HERE ANYMORE," I scream out with tears nearly coming out of my eyes

"After all the time you spent convincing me to stay here..." Gohan chuckles a let my back hit the bed again
