The System Awakens: Rise of the Champion

The six ministers whom Lenora, one of the three original wives of the great Vampire King, chose to represent the werewolf race in her husband's court led their future progenitor of werewolves to the place where he would become the original Beast of the Night.

Among all the progenitors, the progenitors of the creatures of the night were regarded as highly special, mostly because their race was incredibly powerful and had a strong association with one of the three regulators of all existence in the universe, the Negativity.

Another thing that made them very powerful and dangerous was their unique race-related abilities.

Each of those abilities was created specifically to boost their power by a substantial margin the more their race grew in both quantity and quality.

For the vampire progenitor, his unique race-related ability grants him the power to acquire any sort of bloodline ability that manifests in any of his noble vampires, either from birth or developed after birth.

He gains the experience and level of control over those bloodline abilities as if they were his own.

Not only that, he can also train and improve those bloodline abilities further, often becoming stronger than the noble vampire who originally possessed that ability.

The Vampire Progenitor can use all those bloodline abilities whenever, wherever, and as many at a time as he wants without limitation.

In addition to this, the Vampire Progenitor also possesses the ability to interact with souls, such as consuming, manipulating, and destroying them, at a level far higher than even high-ranking gods who embody the concept of souls.

Such overwhelming power earned the Vampire Progenitor the unique title among all supernatural beings: The Blood King of Night.

Similar to the Vampire Progenitor, the Progenitor of Werewolves also possesses unique abilities that increase his power drastically as the quality and quantity of his race grows.

Unlike the Vampire Progenitor, who acquires the experience and power of the bloodline abilities possessed by noble vampires, the Progenitor of Werewolves does not inherit or acquire the abilities his werewolves possess.

Instead, for every werewolf alive, he receives a flat % boost in his power and energy, which he can exert in any form, physical, mental, or otherwise.

The power of the Werewolf Progenitor is the power of all the werewolves in existence, both alpha and beta.

The more their population grows, the stronger the Progenitor becomes.

This works similarly to the [Pack Empowerment] ability possessed by alpha werewolves:

Alpha werewolves receive a power boost based on a % value for every beta werewolf in their pack.

It's the same for the Progenitor of Werewolves.

But the only difference is, all the alpha and beta werewolves become part of his pack by default, and the % value of the increase in his power is not only much higher than that of alpha werewolves but also increases gradually.

And unlike alpha werewolves, the Progenitor of Werewolves doesn't just gain a power boost; his soul's strength also gradually increases the more the population of his race grows.

This ability might seem simple, but don't forget, this is the Progenitor of Werewolves.

He can create as many werewolves as he wants, he can simply create thousands of alpha werewolves and train them to become stronger, which in return gives him a significant increase in power.

And those alpha werewolves he created would also create their own packs of beta werewolves, making the alphas stronger, again feeding back into the Progenitor's power boost.

The abilities of the Progenitor of Werewolves don't end there.

Similar to the Vampire Progenitor, he also possesses the ability to interact with souls, but his power is more destructive by nature.

In his true beastial form, the Progenitor of Werewolves can attack and devour any soul regardless of its nature and erase it completely.

In doing so, the devoured soul is fed to his own, strengthening and fortifying it.

The beastial form of the Progenitor of Werewolves is nothing but the wolf form.

Even though alpha werewolves appear human, their true form is that of a giant wolf.

The human form is more compatible for reproduction and is the form they are born with and the one they find most comfortable.

Not because the wolf form is less comfortable, but because sustaining it requires enormous power.

In that form, their base power is magnified many times over.

The Werewolf Progenitor also possesses his own wolf form, but compared to alpha werewolves, his true form is a real monster, said to be capable of devouring cities.

A beast that only comes at night, earning its name: The Original Beast of the Night.

Even the great wolf of the Norse pantheon, known as the God-Eater, Fenrir, would fall behind this true beast that is the Progenitor of Werewolves.

And in a few minutes, Damian will transition into the Original Beast of the Night, becoming the King of Beasts...

The Great King of Werewolves.

Damian calmly climbed the low-sloped, towering, tree-covered mountain, following the lead of the six werewolf women, while some more alpha werewolves stayed at the foot of the mountain.

They were heading toward a giant, broad cliff naturally formed at the top of the mountain.

This cliff is one of the places where the presence of the Moon is highly felt, and the [Lunar Essence] generated by the moon is extremely dense in this place compared to others.

"Hmm..." Damian could see the sky darkening by the minute.

He could already feel the changes as the wind steadily grew colder.

It wasn't as bone-chilling as Nightingale, but it was very cold, since night in Vargheim lasts around 20 hours.

The women looked at each other in embarrassment.

They knew they weren't very good at hiding what they were thinking, and he could read them like an open canvas.

They can even sense emotions, and under the right conditions, even death.

"Well, to answer your question... let me put it simply, I am all the races you mentioned, all at the same time. But since I'm currently embodying my vampire progenitor race, my appearance is that of a Vampire Progenitor," Damian said.

As he spoke, his figure started to change. His shoulder-length hair grew longer with purplish accents, and his eyes turned as black as night.

Even though his appearance had changed, the presence of his other races still remained, as if they never left, including his Progenitor Vampire essence.

The six women didn't fully understand what the Vampire King was saying.
