Chapter 192: Creating Noble Vampires
"To become really stronger you should stop relying solely on your bloodline ability," Damian sternly continued.
"Your ability is powerful, there is no doubt about it, but what can you do against beings who can counter your ability?"
Damian looked at Tiana. "You can overwhelm your opponent with ice but what about being with flame type abilities? How would fight them?"
"There is something called compatibility. Every type of ability has another type that can easily counter it. Like your abilities, even though they are created using your [Blood Essence], you still create elements like lightning, ice, flames, and darkness. They can be countered by others," Damian said as he looked at Kathryne and continued.
"The Dracula clan's ability is a great example for this, her ability can go against all your elemental attacks because it can disintegrate anything it touches what would you do against someone with ability like that?"
Kathryne grinned watching the vampire king using her as a example making the other four countesses stare at her in irritation.
"Oh don't think you are better than them I was only talking about your bloodline ability even with such ability you are still weaker than Amaya and Lillian," Damian said rolling his eyes at Kathryne he felt like he was dealing with little kid for a second there.
His comment made Kathryne pout and lower her head in shame while the remaining grinned for a second but when they saw their king glaring at them they also seized their smiles.
"Let's go back to the castle," the vampire king as a pair of bat like huge wings spurted out of his back before flapping as his figure lifted from the ground and sped up towards the Twilight Castle.
The five countesses also unveiled their vampiric wings and flew after their king.
Damian could have turned into lightning and traveled to the castle in an instant, but he wanted to take a moment to look at the city.
After a few minutes, they landed in front of the castle, where the vampire king saw hundreds of noble vampires waiting to have an audience with the progenitor of vampires.
Damian didn't even bat an eye as he walked through the crowd.
They moved away in fear, and the vampire king went straight to the throne hall, taking his seat on the throne while the five countesses walked up and stood on either side of him like the good wives they were.
"Bring the leaders of the clans in," Damian commanded, and within seconds, seven women entered the throne hall.
They appeared before the king seated on the throne, knelt on one knee, lowered their heads, and greeted their new king.
"We greet the vampires, the king of all night creatures," they said in unison.
Damian could sense their fear and lust toward him just from being in his presence.
It was interesting how they felt both fear and lust for him at the same time.
As much as they feared him, as he was their progenitor, a god-like figure to the vampire race, they still found him more attractive than any other man in the world.
If Damian willed it, all those women would be on their knees, serving him with their mouths without a single hesitation.
Damian took a deep breath. For a second, he wanted to do it, he wanted to bed all those women right then and there.
But after having soul sex with his three goddess wives, and due to his talent [Limitless Refinement], his soul had been refined again and again, growing to an insane level.
He could now easily control his needs and desires as the progenitor.
Still, he could have let his urges take control, and his wives would have had no problem with him bedding more women—but he didn't want to do it without the knowledge of his three wives.
Just thinking about bedding these women stirred up Damian's desire once more.
He was hard, and the women could sense his lust like an endless void.
The seven noble vampires couldn't help but entertain the thought of being at the pleasurable mercy of their king, getting a taste of his huge man pole inside them...
Just imagining it made the women feel fluids dripping between their legs.
The five countesses wore very irritated expressions, especially Kathryne Dracula.
They knew what these degenerate women were thinking, because they were imagining the same things as well.
After all, all vampires are degenerates, especially female vampires in heat.
It angered them to know others desired their man...
Even though they hadn't completed the Rite of Union, the countesses still considered themselves his wives, especially Kathryne, and they didn't want more women added to the mix.
But if their king wanted them, they wouldn't have a choice but to let these degenerate women join the harem.
All vampires are degenerates, especially female vampires in heat.
After a few seconds, the feeling of lust they felt from their king disappeared as Damian regained complete control, leaving them extremely disappointed.
He wasn't going to do it.
If he really wanted to, he would do it with the five countesses, whom Amelia, Avaline, and Lenora had already approved of.
"You seven are the leaders of the remaining noble clans besides the five Count Clans, huh?" the Vampire King observed.
The seven women were around the same age as the five Countesses.
While not as powerful as those five, they were definitely close, mostly, their bloodline abilities were simply weaker in comparison.
"Y-Yes, Your Highness," they replied.
"Hm," Damian mused.
He had to admit, all of them were beautiful, just as beautiful as the five Countesses.
If possible, he wanted them for himself, but not right now.
There was no need.
"I will come straight to the point. I want you to do a few things," Damian continued.
"Firstly, I know there aren't many noble vampires in your clans who have managed to awaken their bloodline abilities as they should have. I want to correct that now."
Over tens of thousands of years, every noble vampire clan had begun to face another problem, aside from the dwindling birth of new noble vampires.
Even those who were born were often not inheriting the bloodline abilities of their parents.
This issue persisted until, eventually, there were only a few noble vampires in each clan who had awakened their bloodline abilities at all.
As a result, even the unique bloodline abilities of each clan were beginning to face extinction.
At this point, there were only a handful of noble vampires within each clan who could actually use their clan's unique bloodline ability.
And among the Count Clans, only the Countesses retained the power to use theirs.
In the Brenlith Clan, there used to be three people who were able to use the bloodline ability: Lillian Brenlith, her sister, and her sister's son.
But Damian had killed them during the war...
Well, they asked for it.
Damian raised his hand. Hundreds of blood droplets manifested from his own blood before they froze, turning into drop-sized blood crystals.
Then, hundreds of blood crystals flew toward each of the women, including the Countesses, except Kathryne.
"Each of these blood crystals can turn a person into a pure, full-blooded noble vampire," Damian said, pausing for a few seconds to give them time to comprehend what he was saying.
"If you give them to a plebeian vampire, they will turn into a noble vampire and inherit your bloodline ability. If you give them to a noble vampire of your clan, they will awaken their bloodline ability."
Damian continued, "I'm giving these to you so you can increase the population of noble vampires, noble vampires possessing your bloodline abilities."
"We will do as you say, my lord," the women nodded.
Damian narrowed his eyes at the seven women in front of him. "You know I'm also the progenitor of the human race, right?"
"W-we do, my lord," one of the women replied.
Every noble vampire knew that their new progenitor was also the progenitor of humans as well. News spread fast, after all.
"Hmm, from now on, you answer to me, and me alone, or to the five countesses who are also my wives, just so you know," Damian said with a smile.
The seven women raised their eyebrows, and Damian could feel the immense jealousy radiating from them, exactly as he intended.
"I like my women strong. In the world of Nightingale, Lillian, Amaya, Akira, Kathryne, and Tiana are the strongest. That's why I've taken them as my wives," Damian said, tilting his head, grinning, and letting just a hint of his charm show, enough to instantly affect the seven women, intensifying their jealousy and frustration.
They knew the countesses had something they didn't: the right to be the Vampire King's wives.
"You women are not half bad, but still, you're not on their level. Who knows, maybe if you reach their level, I might even take a few more wives, of course, only if they've never been in a relationship before," Damian said, his red eyes scanning the seven women.
As their progenitor, he could instantly discern the status of the opposite sex.
He could see that, like the countesses, these seven had no significant others, and were virgins as well, which made him smile.
He truly would consider taking them as his wives, but not just for their beauty.
Becoming his wife was a right that had to be earned.
In fact, if Damian hadn't acted on his instincts and initiated the Rite of Union with the countesses, he wouldn't have taken them as his wives either.
They, too, would have had to earn that right.
Damian smiled slightly; he could see the determination in their wives.
"Good, grow stronger and stronger, and throw yourselves at me," Damian chuckled inwardly, watching their expressions.
"You may go now," Damian ordered, and everyone except Kathryne vanished from the place as they went to use the progenitor's blood crystals to create more noble vampires for each of the clans.
"My darling... why didn't you give me your blood crystals?" Kathryne boldly asked. Unlike the other countesses, she was always more confident in addressing him. In fact, she already considered herself his wife.
"Your bloodline ability is too powerful. I don't want more vampires to possess it," Damian replied as he turned and rested his eyes on her face.
"You're a direct descendant of the past vampire progenitor, right?" Damian asked.
"Yes..." Kathryne replied.
"I'm the great-great-great-great-granddaughter of the past vampire progenitor, Vlad Dracula Tepes, the Impaler of Gods..." Kathryne said proudly.
"H-How do you know?"
"I just know it... I can feel the influence of the progenitor in your ability."
"Progenitors have a unique ability called [Blood Manipulation], which grants the power to control and manipulate blood and even use it to destroy anything," Damian continued.
"Your ability seems to have been created using the progenitor's own unique ability as a base, likely when your ancestor awakened it for the first time. That's why I could sense a very small influence of the blood of the Night King in you, which I assume you inherited as a direct descendant of the progenitor... That's why I don't want anyone else out there with your ability."
