The Strongest Lunarian in One Piece

Chapter 350: Chapter 350: The Future Three Admiral

"Eh? That form…"

"So this is what a Mythical Zoan's awakened form looks like?"

Seeing their father's transformation and the astonishing aura he emitted, Thor and Dal, watching from afar, couldn't help widening their eyes.

It was their first time witnessing this special form of their father, his entire body surrounded by ribbons of golden flame.

"Fallen Angel El—!"

A disheveled figure bellowed from a distance.

Charging in with overwhelming momentum, it was Iron Fist Garp, who had been training in the rear.

"Garp!"

Seeing Garp catch up, Sengoku and Zephyr both breathed a sigh of relief.

With the three of them facing a monster like Fallen Angel El, they were much more confident.

Moreover, the Holy Land Mary Geoise had probably received word by now, and reinforcements would likely arrive soon.

"Huh?"

Looking at El, who was wreathed in golden flame-clouds, Garp—standing beside Sengoku and Zephyr—narrowed his eyes.

He looked somewhat unsure: "That form…?"

They had clashed with Fallen Angel El before,

and knew well his half-human, half-beast transformation.

But they had never seen anything like this.

The strange flame-clouds were more reminiscent

of the Five Elders' transformations than anything else.

"Surprised?"

In front of G-1 Fortress, El looked calmly upon Sengoku the Buddha, Iron Fist Garp, and Black Arm Zephyr, who were all visibly shocked.

He spoke in a faint, even tone:

"When a Devil Fruit user's body and mind truly keep pace with their fruit's abilities, the power awakens. Isn't that normal?

"Or do you think that a mere Mythical Zoan user can't possibly achieve awakening?"

Indeed, over the years—through tireless, unending effort—he had successfully developed his Mythical Zoan: Quetzalcoatl form to the point of "awakening."

It was a breakthrough that happened naturally,

yet also felt entirely unprecedented.

Although the awakening process had been turbulent—almost affecting his consciousness—

he ultimately made it through safely.

In return, his capabilities advanced on all fronts,

pushing his power to a new tier—a genuine "ascension."

"Damn it…"

"So he really did awaken his ability?"

"This is going to be a headache…"

Sengoku, Garp, and Zephyr all wore grim expressions.

Even before awakening, this Lunarian—a natural-born monster with the Mythical Zoan Quetzalcoatl form—was practically immortal, his strength already astonishing.

Now his power was likely beyond imagination.

They weren't exactly panicking; they simply felt heavy-hearted.

If this monster decided to leave, even if they all attacked at once, they might not be able to stop him.

"No need to tense up. I'm not here to make trouble. I just came to spar with you future admirals…"

Baring his menacing fangs, gripping his razor-sharp Barbaric Sword, El gave a "friendly" smile.

"But you people from the World Government have been too rowdy lately. Before those guys from the Holy Land arrive, I'll give you Marines a few minutes to retreat!"

"Everyone, evacuate the island!"

As the base commander, Sengoku's face tensed.

But he did not hesitate; gritting his teeth, he roared out the order.

"Evacuate?"

"Admiral Sengoku?"

"This…"

One after another, the Marines went pale with shock.

Were they really supposed to just pull out of G-1 Fortress because of the enemy's threat?

"Hurry up! Don't dawdle…"

Neither Garp nor Zephyr hesitated—both clenched their fists, turning around and shouting at the Marine soldiers:

"He's not someone you can stop! Don't try anything foolish!"

They did not want the innocent soldiers left behind to die for nothing.

Facing a Lunarian monster, anything below admiral-level was irrelevant.

Even a swarm of regular Marines would be useless.

If they wanted to attempt a group attack,

they would at least need fighters at or above vice-admiral strength.

Otherwise, they'd just be throwing their lives away.

"Hurry!"

"Everyone, retreat!"

"Board the warships!!!"

"Get away from here!"

All at once, large numbers of Marines rushed toward the coast, scrambling to board their warships.

Even so, Sengoku, Garp, and Zephyr—who remained on the island—did not relax.

Their nerves were taut, on guard more than ever.

"Tsk, tsk… Those two Lunarian brats aren't simple, are they…"

Eyes still locked on El, Garp stayed vigilant,

stealing a glance at the two tall yet young figures off in the distance.

He guessed that they were likely El's children,

and couldn't help but feel a twinge of emotion:

in the blink of an eye, the man's kids had grown this big—and were already exuding considerable strength.

They might even be a match for an ordinary vice-admiral.

"Mm… If I'm not mistaken, they should both be special Devil Fruit users…"

With a solemn look, Sengoku spoke in a low voice

:

"Otherwise, with El's usual caution and cunning,

he wouldn't bring those two brats here so openly."

He had briefly considered tying up El while letting others capture the children, but quickly dismissed the idea.

Although the three of them—longtime comrades and now admiral candidates—were confident that their teamwork was better than that farce at G-5 Fortress, where the two admirals, Black Bear and Iron Bone, had joined forces with Silver Axe, Wang Zhi, and John of the Seven Warlords in a messy coalition, they could not ignore Fallen Angel El's past exploits.

He had once easily suppressed opponents of that caliber without even using his fruit abilities.

Several years had passed since then; he must be even more terrifying now.

The best the three of them could do might be to stall him.

Of course, if World Government support arrived quickly, it might be worth attempting something else.

"Indeed…"

Black Arm Zephyr nodded.

"Considering World Government elites could show up any minute, there's no way a cunning man like him would expose a major weakness so casually."

Similarly, he had no intention of kidnapping El's children as leverage.

It seemed the opportunity lay right before them, but if they failed, they would only have enraged that monster—making the situation irreparable.

Moreover, members of the Lunarian race could all fly, and although they themselves could use Moonwalk, they might not be able to catch those two children.

Especially given the rumors that each member of the Kukulkan family is a 'frightening little monster.'

The World Government had tried repeatedly to eradicate them, but never succeeded—losing plenty of elite agents in the process.

So the fact that Fallen Angel El would dare come here alone—bringing his children to G-1 Fortress, of all places, under Mary Geoise's very nose—surely meant he was prepared for any eventuality.

In addition to his extreme self-confidence (or arrogance) in his own strength, he must have had other aces up his sleeve as well.
