“Lin Teng accepts the Family Head’s decision,” he responded. While the outcome wasn’t what he had expected, Lin Teng knew that Lin Xuan’s word was final. Protesting further would only backfire, so he respectfully accepted his new position.
“Now, I’ll be issuing a few tasks, and the elder council must ensure they are carried out by the end of the day.”
