The Strongest Assassin of the Zoldyck Family!

Shusuke Ito used the force of the collision to propel himself toward Ron while skillfully dodging Hanma Baki's swinging baseball bat.

Ron feigned a panicked expression, quickly lifting a large section of the arena floor and placing it as a shield before him.

"Envelop!" 

Ryūnosuke Akutagawa's Cage of Karma surged forward, while Hanma Baki also charged in.

Shusuke Ito's eyes flashed with determination. 

"This brat is far more troublesome than I imagined." 

"His bizarre abilities seem endless." 

"This may be my only chance!" 

"I can't waste any more time. The best course of action is to attack this slab directly, break through the defence, and kill him behind it. If I try to go around, I'll miss my opportunity." 

Shusuke Ito didn't spare a second thought for the slab. 

Even with Ron reinforcing it using Shu, Shusuke was confident his Invisible Hand could smash through it. 

*Bang!* 

The slab shattered suddenly. 

Shusuke saw Ron standing behind it, holding the baseball bat. 

He prepared to dodge the bat while simultaneously using the Invisible Hand to attack and kill Ron. 

*Clap!* 

Hanma Baki clapped his hands together. 

In the blink of an eye, Ron's figure disappeared—replaced by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa. 

All of Shusuke's attacks landed squarely on Ryūnosuke, heavily injuring the Nen Beast. 

But the diversion gave Hanma Baki the opening he needed. 

Hanma Baki appeared behind Shusuke Ito, wrapping his arms around him and lifting him off the ground.

An explosion erupted silently. 

The epicentre was Shusuke's chest. 

Before disappearing, Killer Queen had planted the First Bomb on a specific piece of the arena floor near where Ron had stood earlier. 

Ron had planned to lure Shusuke onto the detonated tile. However, Shusuke's luck allowed him to narrowly step over it. 

As a result, Ron had to resort to his backup plan. 

The explosion obliterated Shusuke's chest. 

The blast's shockwaves rippled outward, causing further devastation. 

*Splatter!* 

Blood was sprayed everywhere. 

Shusuke Ito's eyes widened as he struggled to turn himself over, no longer wanting to face the ground. 

Hanma Baki held Shusuke firmly in place.

Ron extended his hand, sending a surge of aura toward Ryūnosuke Akutagawa. 

Before long, Ryūnosuke's injuries began to heal rapidly. 

"Cage of Karma!" 

The dark crimson claws pierced into Shusuke's body. 

Shusuke glared at Ron, his eyes filled with unbridled hatred. 

If looks could kill, Ron would have died countless times over. 

"You… little brat…" 

His voice was strained, laced with venom, as his life force began to fade.

Shusuke Ito's raspy voice bellowed in fury. 

At this point, survival was impossible. The only thing keeping him conscious was the remarkable vitality of a Nen user. 

But even that wouldn't last long. 

Shusuke was consumed by bitterness. 

First, the humiliation of being an A-rank Nen user defeated by a C-rank—a mere boy barely over ten years old. 

Such a disgrace would forever taint his name, etching it into the history of Nen users as a symbol of shame. 

Second, Shusuke had envisioned a future where he killed Ron and his companions, fulfilling his ambitions. 

A future he now knew he'd never reach. 

"Why is my luck so terrible?" 

"Why is fate so unfair to me?" 

"Brat, you didn't defeat me—fate just happened to be on your side." 

"Don't get cocky." 

"The others from Taris will kill you!" 

"They'll avenge me!" 

"And even if I'm dead, I won't let you go!" 

Shusuke roared, his voice filled with hatred. 

At that moment, Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, wielding the Rotten Life Blade, plunged it deep into Shusuke's body. 

*Squish!* 

The blade pulsed, and countless insect eggs rapidly spread across Shusuke's body. 

Shusuke's body spasmed violently before going still. 

A strong death aura began to condense over his corpse. 

"Brat, die!" 

But the Rotten Life Blade activated. 

As a bane to death auras, the blade's swarm of insect eggs latched onto the aura, draining it. 

A powerful suction force emanated from the Rotten Life Blade, weakening Shusuke's death aura before it could even act. 

Within moments, the death aura was completely absorbed. 

Ron could almost hear Shusuke's despairing wail. 

"No!" 

Shusuke's life force vanished entirely. 

Ryūnosuke handed the Rotten Life Blade back to Ron. 

Gripping the hilt, Ron felt something different about the blade. 

"It's absorbed so much death aura… has it evolved?" 

"Has its ability increased?" 

His eyes lit up with realization. 

The Rotten Life Blade was a perfect match for his fighting style. Even before this evolution, it had already been instrumental in many battles. 

A stronger version of the blade would undoubtedly be even more valuable. 

"It's entered a temporary self-sealing state. I can't use it for now." 

"I wonder when it'll awaken." 

With a thought, Ron dismissed both Ryūnosuke Akutagawa and Hanma Baki.

The arena vanished, along with the audience stands and the contestant area. 

The Colosseum returned to Dominica's possession, and the surroundings shifted back to the airship's interior. 

However, the airship was now a wreck, battered and broken beyond recognition. 

Only Ron, Dominica, and Wendy were alive. 

The stench of blood filled the air. 

The airship's propulsion system had been critically damaged, and it was now plummeting uncontrollably, accelerating with every second. 

"Prepare to jump!" Dominica shouted. 

The trio quickly moved to the edge of the airship and leapt into the open air. 

Wendy raised her hand, creating a stream of air that slowed their descent.

*Boom!* 

The airship crashed into the ground, unleashing a thunderous impact. 

Moments later, it exploded, flames consuming the wreckage as the earth trembled violently. 

Nearby birds and beasts fled in panic. 

Ron and his companions landed a short distance away, safely touching down. 

"We need to find a place to hide and recover," Dominica said. 

Soon, they discovered a cave and entered. 

Dominica retrieved a Nen artefact, opening it to reveal a large supply of food and water.
