The Strongest Artist in Naruto

Chapter 111: Chapter 46: The End

Boom!

With a single punch, Kitsuchi was sent flying. After all, not everyone could match Tsunade's strength.

[Kitsuchi's shock value +500]

"Earth Style: Earth Dragon Bullet!"

A dragon made of stone surged forward, snapping at the Giant Ant Warrior.

Boom!

The Giant Ant Warrior smashed the stone dragon to pieces with a casual punch. However, the brief delay was enough for Kitsuchi to regroup. He rolled to his feet, forming hand seals at lightning speed.

"Earth Release: Sandwich Technique"

Two massive hemispheres of rock emerged from both sides, trapping the Giant Ant Warrior in their crushing embrace. For the moment, it was immobilized.

This was Kitsuchi's signature jutsu, capable of momentarily restraining even the Gedo Statue in the original series—a testament to its power.

"Secret Art: Dragon's Nest!"

A swarm of dragons materialized, swarming toward the trapped Giant Ant Warrior.

"Wind Style: Vacuum Wave!"

Ōnoki unleashed a razor-sharp air blade from his mouth. As a Dust Release user, a combination of Wind, Earth, and Fire Chakra Natures, it was no surprise that he could wield Wind Style with such precision.

The Vacuum Wave sliced through the first wave of dragons, but their sheer numbers quickly became overwhelming.

Crack!

Rubble flew everywhere as Kitsuchi's Mountain Earth Technique shattered under the Giant Ant Warrior's power. Freed once again, it charged toward Ōnoki and Kitsuchi.

"This time, leave it to me!"

"Earth Release: Fist Rock Technique!"

"Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique!"

Ōnoki's punch gained an enormous boost in power as he reinforced it with the Added-Weight Rock Technique. Confident, he prepared to meet the Giant Ant Warrior head-on.

Boom!

The collision unleashed a shockwave, but neither combatant moved. It was a stalemate.

"Ow! My back!"

Ōnoki suddenly grimaced, his free hand trembling as it clutched his lower back. Sweat beaded on his forehead as the pain overtook him.

"Honestly, Father, if you know your back is bad, why do you keep doing this?" Kitsuchi sighed, exasperated. His father's recklessness was a constant headache.

"Old man, if you can't handle it, just admit defeat already!" Deidara jeered from above.

"Shut up, you brat!"

Faced with the relentless pursuit of the Giant Ant Warrior, Ōnoki decided to stop holding back. Conventional jutsu weren't working—it was time for something unconventional.

"Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!"

Ōnoki formed a transparent cubic barrier between his hands, firing a beam of light that instantly enveloped the Giant Ant Warrior.

Boom!

The resulting explosion obliterated the creature, breaking it down to its very atoms.

"Well? How's that, brat?" Ōnoki smirked. "Compared to my Dust Release, your so-called 'art' is nothing but flashy nonsense."

It was true—Dust Release was superior to Deidara's explosions in many ways. Even a standard Dust Release could rival Deidara's C3 bomb, with the added advantage of precision and repeated usage.

However, Dust Release had a glaring weakness—it was still a jutsu. Ōnoki would find himself in trouble if faced with the Rinnegan or the Preta Path. Deidara's explosions, on the other hand, were pure physical damage, akin to Might Guy's Eight Gates assaults. Against them, almost no one was safe.

"Old man, don't underestimate me!" Deidara shouted. "How many times can you even use that Dust Release of yours?"

"C2: Grand Serpent Formation!"

Countless white clay serpents descended from the sky, quickly covering the battlefield.

"Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld!"

Kitsuchi transformed the ground into a muddy swamp, trapping the serpents.

"Then I'll send something that flies!"

"C1: Parasitic Insects!"

A swarm of buzzing insects filled the sky, diving toward Ōnoki and Kitsuchi.

"Fire Style: Majestic Flame Destroyer!"

Ōnoki countered with a massive wave of fire, while Kitsuchi followed up with, "Earth Release: Sticky Earth Drop!" The insects were quickly encased in sticky mud, rendered immobile.

"Is that all your 'art' amounts to, Deidara?" Ōnoki taunted, glaring at the airborne artist.

"Oh, you're asking for it, old man. Let's see how you handle this!"

The dragon and its two mothers above began launching bombs relentlessly. Though Kitsuchi and Ōnoki defended with Earth Style techniques, the barrage left them scrambling.

"Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!"

Ōnoki prepared another attack, forcing Deidara to scatter his formation. At the same time, he reached into his clay pouch, molding more creations.

"Old man, you destroy one, and I'll make two more! Let's see how you handle despair!"

Boom!

One of the mother dragons was disintegrated by Dust Release, but two more took its place. The four guardian dragons launched a suicidal assault, their explosive power rivaling S-rank jutsu.

"Father, be careful!" Kitsuchi warned.

"Earth Style: Earth Wall!"

A series of massive stone walls appeared, shielding the duo. Ōnoki enhanced Kitsuchi with the Lightweight Rock Technique, and the two retreated to a safer distance.

Boom!

The dragons exploded in a dazzling display of light and fire, the shockwave obliterating the earth walls. The blast nearly caught them, forcing both to activate, "Earth Release: Hardening Technique!" Their bodies darkened as they bolstered their physical resistance.

Cough, cough.

The two emerged, battered but alive. Ōnoki waved a hand. "Enough! I concede!"

He hated to admit it, but Deidara's explosions were simply too overwhelming. Dust Release's precision became a disadvantage when faced with such widespread destruction.

"How about that, old man? Impressed by my art now?"

Ōnoki scoffed, feigning indifference. "Barely. Compared to my Dust Release, it's still second-rate."

Deidara smirked inwardly. He wasn't fooled—Ōnoki's stubborn pride was all too predictable.

"Alright, I'm leaving. Don't think about causing trouble for our organization, old man. I doubt Iwagakure could handle the consequences."

Deidara glanced at Kitsuchi. "Take care, Kitsuchi-san."

"You too, Deidara." Kitsuchi nodded, torn between frustration at his defeat and pride in Deidara's strength.

"Father, what now? What's our plan for Iwagakure?" Kitsuchi asked after Deidara had left.

Ōnoki's eyes narrowed. "For now, we wait and watch. Don't concern yourself with Akatsuki—we'll act when the time is right."

"Yes, Father."

"For now, focus on preparation. With Sunagakure and Konohagakure at war, there will be opportunities. And when they arise, we'll take our bite."

Though his first choice would have been Konoha, Akatsuki's presence between the Land of Earth and the Land of Fire made that impractical. For now, the Land of Wind would have to suffice.
