The Shallow Eclipse.

The beginning of the end.

Rosyta makes it back to her room, then kicks the door shut behind her. She jumps up onto the bed, and curls up into a ball with her tails layed on top of her. She looks back out the window, admiring the beautiful sky. The clouds slowly turned a more lighter grey, with the rain slowly coming to an end. Rosya looks over at the window for a moment longer, then back at her front leg. The large, deep gash still leaks blood onto her crimson fur. It's hard to tell what part is her fur, and what part is blood.

She gives the wounds a few quick licks. Once she's done she closes her eyes, and rests her head against the soft velvet pillow beneath her head. Her ears twitch a little as she hears the sound of Chyri's paws stepping towards the room. Chyri opens the door, but instead of a fox peaking through, it as a human. She takes a few steps in, then carefully shuts the door behind her. Even with her in a human form, she still has her soft pink tails and ears.

Rosyta quickly looks up, then smiles at Chyri. She sits up slowly, then with a quick second, turns into a human form of herself as well. Rosyta can easily talk better now that she's a human. She pats he spot next to her, gesturing for Chyri to sit down next to her. Chyri walks over to Roysta, then sits down comfortably, crossing her legs. "How are you feeling?" Chyri asks with slight worry, yet a smile still on her friendly face.

"Better now that you're here." Rosyta teases a bit. "But I'm feeling better. I hope that we're safer now. Those other creatures just refuse to leave me alone." She sighs, looking more doubtful and even a bit agitated. Chyri thinks for a second, then glances back at Rosyta. "I'm sure they'll leave us alone." Chyri reassures. "But please stop just running at them with no good defense. Before you know it you'll be bleeding to death cause one of the slit your neck or something open."

Rosyta nods, listening to Chyri. She's aware of how dangerous it is to do that, but she's willing to do whatever it takes for them to be okay. Rosyta leans against Chyri, resting her head on her shoulder. "I suppose you're right. I'll leave it be for now. Maybe things will get a bit better if I do." Chyri feels more relieved hearing Rosyta say that. Finally she can actually believe her. Chyri wraps an arm around Rosyta, then pulls her down into the bed. "How about we not think of this at the moment? I don't want to worry you before bed. You and I haven't gotten sleep all night."

Rosyta smiles happily, then leans into Chyri's arms. They lay closely together, wrapping their tails around one another's. Although the moon is starting to set, they both need at least a bit of sleep. They both close their eyes, and after just a few moments, they both fall asleep peacefully against each other.
