The punch was fierce, about to smash into Xu Mo, when suddenly, Xu Mo threw a punch as well. His punch came with the impact of a tempestuous wave, a cascade of Source Power waves sweeping forward, roaring towards Douglas's fist, colliding together.

A crisp sound emerged, and Douglas could only feel his arm snapping joint by joint, a sharp pain attacking him, the force traveling through his arm straight to his chest. With a muffled grunt, Douglas staggered backward.

He looked in disbelief at the scene before him. The next moment, he saw Xu Mo charging towards him.

"Bang." Their bodies shifted past each other, Xu Mo's knee hitting Douglas's lower abdomen. Douglas's body bent like a bow, blood spilling from his lips.

A look of sorrow and anger appeared on his face, but before he could think much, Xu Mo's palm had already pressed against his face, pushing it forcefully downward.

"Boom…"

Douglas's head snapped back, his head forcibly smashed to the ground. If it had not been for the grass, his skull might have burst open.

He roared angrily, only to see Xu Mo crouching before him, a fist smashing into his face.

"Bang, bang, bang!"

Punch after punch fell, Douglas's head spinning, feeling somewhat unconscious, his emotions now transformed into humiliation.

Xu Mo's movements slowed, and after throwing another punch, his gaze fixated on Douglas's eyes. Douglas also looked at him, and boom… a powerful spiritual power directly invaded.

"Why did you want to kill Avril?" Xu Mo asked, his voice possessing a sort of Magic Power, breaking down Douglas's will. Douglas opened his mouth, but his strong will still resisted.

Xu Mo shouted loudly, and Douglas's will collapsed, he began to speak, "That bitch dared to break up with me, she deserved to die."

"Bang."

Xu Mo threw another punch, shouting angrily, "Just for breaking up, you killed her?"

"Yes," Douglas roared back furiously.

"Why did she choose suicide?" Xu Mo asked again.

"Her or her whole family would die," Douglas said.

Xu Mo suddenly stopped; he had seen many of Douglas's memories just now; after Avril proposed breaking up, Douglas brutally abused her, breaking her will. Xu Mo had helped her recover quite a bit during this period, but she was devastated by Douglas in an instant.

Afterward, Douglas threatened with Avril's whole family, leading Avril to despair and to take her own life by medication.

"Her or her whole family would die."

For a powerful nobleman, having a lesser noble killed was indeed not that difficult.

Douglas looked at Xu Mo blankly, his face bloody. What had he just said?
