The Seventh Base

The flying device hovered in mid-air as the starship bore down menacingly, appearing in front of the flying device with its sharp muzzles already aiming at it, seeming to fire directly should the flying device continue its journey.

Atop the starship, several fully-armed figures emerged, their equipment emitting Energy Light as they floated in mid-air, surrounding the flying device and pointing their weapons at it, completely sealing off any escape route.

Inside the flying device, Joey's complexion instantly turned pale, his heart pounding violently.

What appeared before him was a starship.

The purpose of taking Sun Youcai away was to investigate whether the Blue Star Energy Technology Group had a base on Byron Star and, if so, where it might be hiding.

But the moment the starship appeared, there was no longer a need to investigate.

The base of the Blue Star Energy Technology Group was indeed on Byron Star.

Moreover, it might be located in or around Steel Dome City, otherwise they wouldn't have arrived so quickly.

Within the flying device, the hatch opened, and several figures stepped out, also floating in mid-air, staring at the group of figures who had approached, and asked, "We come from the Byron Star Federation Government, who might you all be?"

They had already guessed the identity of the other party, the people from the Blue Star Energy Technology Group, but they were unclear on how the other party would act.

"Buzz!" Several figures moved simultaneously, rushing toward the figures who had stepped out, each moving at a startling speed, arriving instantaneously.

A shrill sound rang out as a dazzling beam of light suddenly appeared in the air, and in an instant, a figure along with their Armor was cleaved in two and then plummeted straight down through the air.

In other directions, similar scenes were unfolding; even those who blocked the attacks were destroyed in an instant, mercilessly slaughtered on the spot.

Joey was still inside the flying device, his face turning even more deathly pale.

Although he knew their identities, he hadn't expected the Blue Star Energy Technology Group to be so ruthless, to kill so directly.

Even though the Blue Star Energy Technology Group was very strong now, this place was still Byron Star, still under the control of the Byron Star Government, and with the support of aliens, the military power of the Federation Government was very formidable.

"Come out," a cold voice demanded, but Joey didn't go out; he didn't dare.

At that moment, a mechanical weapon appeared in his hand, aimed at Sun Youcai as he said, "Let us pass, or I'll kill Sun Youcai."

One figure directly entered the interior of the flying device, a figure fully equipped in armor with a helmet concealing their face, making it impossible to see who it was.

However, Joey had seen this person before.

"Seeking death!" A strong intent to kill flashed in the bearer's eyes, followed by a forceful grip, and a crisp snap sounded as Joey's neck was twisted, his body falling.

The pilot's face turned deathly pale, his body shaking with fear.

"Go back and tell Conrad that if his people dare to step into Steel Dome City again, I will go and kill him," the bearer's voice carried a strong threat, and the pilot nodded his body trembling.

Xu Mo left the flying device with Sun Youcai, heading down towards the City Government building.

"Thank you."

Sun Youcai thanked the bearer, knowing it was one of Xu Mo's people, but not aware that the person before him was Xu Mo himself.

Xu Mo had not entirely concealed his bearer's identity, but few knew of it, only the core individuals he often needed to interact with. Since he had hardly any contact with Sun Youcai, Sun Youcai didn't know the bearer's identity.

The bearer nodded slightly, then vanished in a flash back to the warship, as the flying device from Chuanxing City tore through the sky, speeding away at maximum velocity, as if fearing Xu Mo might have a change of heart and kill the pilot.

"Go to Chuanxing City and kill a few people," the bearer said indifferently.

After sorting out the affairs on Austin Star, he headed back to the base here. However, there were still many people stationed there, and additionally, they were planning to transfer a group of people from the base to establish a new point there.
