The Serpent Empire

Where we live is in the doorway they made camp here to be able to leave and go in faster they made tents and wooden fences the fences are still being made and much of the menpower was sent into the camp the militia and scavengers brought a water bottle which would last us a long while

I have begun to explore the city that Martin was creating he wanted this place to be a safe haven for us he made big promise for the people his popularity kept skyrocket

I helped many people build tents and other things I was just bored I helped my friends Alex and Steven many of my days were going with Jon's unit for food I began making friends with some of the people in the unit I grew a custom and happy with my new home

I returned after going to the dishes because Martin told us that some items had srunked with us that we may find more utensils and after retuning with Henry we heard news

That after four weeks Jon's brother returned with six people I thought that was how many they left with but apparently not

M " feed them and make sure their injuries aren't bad after that ask what happen and I'm going to go see Cain and make sure he's alright" David " they are already been fed and they just need rest but some of them where shot at" Martin face showed a worried face standing there for a couple of minutes " then double the guards in the door make sure they weren't followed call the council" D " yes sir I make preparations immediately" Martin left immediately to see Cain

I returned from dropping the utensils to the new restaurant they wanted to open up and saw that the scavengers where heavily injured Henry " would you look at that they came back I don't think they would to bad they lost the other four" Jake" how do you know they are dead maybe they are just falling behind" Henry just looked at my face saying nothing

We continued our day like usual then I converged with my team and went back to exproled the rest of the cabinet we have found vegetables and can food but we didnt have a way of bringing them down

Jon " what if we cut them into little pieces and bring them down" Jake " no that would rot the food faster and the cockroach would find the food the milltia is already strained with what happen to the scouts hey is your brother okay" Jon " yeah he's fine just needs rest" and then Henry came from around. Henry " hey did you hear the council is deciding what to do know that they know there are enemies in the north" Jon they will probably force our unit into the army"

Jake " damn anyways let's take as much penuts as we can" Jon " yeah the good thing is that now we have twenty men we are going to take more food this time Jaja"

We returned to camp with food and the council called for all of us Martin walked onto the center and spoke " We sent my scouts under my son out to gather information see if there are other people their trek was long and arguably hard but they continued and the they were attacked... before when we where normal there used to be a gang up to the north side they made their way down our scouts found them and tried to recruit them but instead they were shot and now we don't know if they followed them here so we are officially making a army an official standing army all young adults and able shall be recruited I have decided to put my son Jon as commander of this second army and they won't be food scavengers they will now moniter the door at all times!!.

Maurice he was council member " we never agreed to put your son as the commander" Martin did not say anything but allowed them to continue " we will choose leo to be commander and your son will become his second in command" Martin "then leo will become commander of the door he will gather the new recruit and train for 2 weeks we will keep the door shut for now" he left the center

there were people that didn't agree and some were even mad the were drafted but still there were also those who agreed everyone left with different emotions the rest of the day was quite like a ghost town

So before this there were basically 20 soldiers they were all displayed into different areas a then four died then the draft brought 40 more soldiers they created a new army that is us with 28 soldiers.

And as it would happen in the morning at exactly five in the morning they went into tent and force me to wake up " GET UP!!

Poor Steven and Alex they where also recruted but since the were usually in camp they kept being cleaners but now with muskets on their side

The weird thing was I was given command of 7 soldiers ( probably because of Jon) and our training began I have to say Im not good in fisical workouts but I bearly managed eather way two weeks passed i made Henry my second in command Leo order us on the last day that we would march at 4 in the morning to the door we would also build our camp and defenses of the door.
