Leo and Cain got here a few minutes later

I have been wandering what to do I have added the rest of the recruts into my army so I have grown stronger too but I need officers to help command I'm going to make a cohort

I will distribute it in to Henry will have 15 soldiers and the rest will be split with Zach and Nate

Nate's unit will be scouts and mappers

Zach's will be our medical core

And Charles will receive five as our snipers

Yes that's good and now with Leo and Cain

Jake " listen I have been approved to be general of all the army so you answer to me now and I will need your troops to stay on the fence and I will need scouts going out to make sure we don't get a surprise attack again"

Leo " my army is supposed to stay inside the door we can't go against orders now can we also my unit can be used to support both your army when you grow weaker"

Jake" that won't do you will follow my orders or I will ask you to be removed from your position....now you dont want Maurice and the rest of the council be slander for not helping"

Leo *damn he's right if I don't help my side will be slander I can't, but I can't lose much men*

Leo" how about I just stay in the fence"

Jake " no that won't do if I order you out on the field you will follow it"

" You got any objections Cain"

Cain " as long as we don't die I'm good"

Good I'm going to have my eye on Leo can't let him go against me

Jake " okay go reinforc the fence and sent scouts out also start building a tower and sent your best shots there"

Hmm now what ah yes start training my army

We went like this for a while I sent Nate with his new unit to explorer the field

It appears that the Northern gang won't attack again ether they are injured or they have to go back to their base which might be far away mmm

So I sent seven of Leo's unit to get more branches the good thing is that they didnt get attacked and they came back with the branches so they immediately began to build towers

Two days went past the towers were going great we are almost half way done

Jake "Nate gather Henry and Cain tell them to get their units to we are heading to the tree"

Nate "sir"

Henry's pov

I have been promoted and have been given my own unit which I'm very happy

Because I trained them and also have been working on one of the towers most of our men power has been on maping and Branch collection

Hmm I wonder if I could get a wife haha

Nate " hey Jake said to gather your unit and meet him your going to go to the tree"

" Alright I'm going"

Hmm I need to get ready I hope there are no enemies there

Cain pov

My father told me I could do what ever under Jake so I have just let him have let him give orders what we need now is to survive

after that I'm going to hang Maurice if it weren't for him I wouldn't have almost died

I'm going to kill him and everyone that's with him father we will win I won't let you down

" Sir Jake has order to meet him and get ready to go to the tree"

Cain looked pissed but still agreed

Jakes pov it took a while but we managed to gather

Jake " Alr listen up we have spent much of our time exploring the field and we didn't find enemies so we will look and explore the tree and since we found the enemy there the first time we must prepar for a battle so move out"

Cain and Henry " yes sir ""yep"

Our thirty three soldiers marched to the tree on our way we didn't find much dangerous a couple of hours of marching and we reached it

Jake * What a beautiful tree that must take so much to climb it*

Jake "okay listen up start looking around the tree roots look for any signs of people and especially big groups of food or hiden food gun gunpowder move out"

Nate POV I was assigned to the right side of the roots

" Captain there's signs of digging on this root"

I walked over and indea there were diggin

Nate " Search for food or humans in there"

"Sir..... There's nothing in here except a old camp fire"

They probably used it to sleep mmm I guess that's all there is

Nate" Keep searching don't leave a area un serched"

We kept looking a messenger told me that Jake expected us back that it was getting to late and soon it will become dark

So after a few minutes later I called my unit back and went our way towards Jakes army

Jakes pov

We search and didnt find much exept old used camps so clearly they had been here spying on us

We need to find where exactly they have been coming from but it's getting late so I sent messages to Cain and Nate to return

Cain pov

Huh I found something interesting should I tell them ah why not

Cain " hey did y'all find something"

"No sir we checked on this side"

Haha we returned back to our starting point

Normal POV

We returned back and good thing didn't lose anyone

While we returned to the door we spoke of our findings

Jake " did y'all find anything of notice"

Nate " we didn't find anything only old used camp sites"

Jake " yeah found a few of those"

Cain " I found something' Jake " what what did you find"

Cain " there was this ladder that they carved into the tree but they hid it with some leaves I'm surprised I found it haha"

Why is he laughing

Cain " it was sarcasm it was easy to find"

Jake" oh haha sorry"

Nate " oh ok"

Cain* really no funny bone"

We returned to camp and made preparations for tomorrow expedition there will probably be some enemy's up there they probably left some men back to guard they position here damn
