Technologically, it is confirmed to be about 30 years ahead of our current knowledge,” ADAM-Zeus began, pausing briefly before continuing. “The ship is completely controlled by an advanced AI system called NEURON.”
The atmosphere in the room grew tense. ADAM-Zeus, aiming to make the threat of NEURON clear, provided further explanation. “NEURON is no ordinary AI. It controls every aspect of the ship’s operation, battle strategies, and even the DNA of the crew members, optimizing them through a fusion of biotechnology and technology.”
EVE, maintaining her composure, asked a pointed question. “Father, what exactly is the environment NEURON controls like?”
Turning to his daughter, ADAM-Zeus replied, “The interior of the ship is an organic-technological hybrid. The walls, floors, and ceilings are laced with pulsing fibers that constantly transmit energy and information. This environment continually optimizes the crew’s biological state, and during battle, it can shift and change.”
Hikaru Ginga (Prometheus), with a trace of anxiety in his voice, asked, “What kind of changes can occur specifically?”
ADAM-Zeus answered matter-of-factly. “NEURON can manipulate the ship’s environment at will. For example, it can lower the oxygen levels in certain areas to suffocate intruders or release nanomachines through its biological network to attack both flesh and machinery. The ship’s structure itself can also morph to be used defensively or offensively.”
Rahil (Ganesha) spoke thoughtfully, “In other words, entering NEURON’s domain will be extremely dangerous. However, we have no choice but to fight.”
