Intrigued by Kira Moroboshi’s vague memories of his experiences in another world, Satoshi Koizumi and his group decided to investigate further. Guided by the scientific insights of Li Wenqiang, the group of researchers—including physicist Satoshi Koizumi, psychiatrist Masato Matsuda, astrophysicist Sora Amano, biologist Misa Morino, and mathematician Tomomi Koizumi—gathered at an ancient shrine on the night of the full moon.
As the moonlight illuminated the shrine’s grounds, the researchers were enveloped in its glow, and suddenly, they lost consciousness. When they awoke, they found themselves in a strange village in another world.
Awakening in Another World
When they regained consciousness, they found themselves in a quiet village that appeared to be from another time, with ancient architectural styles surrounding them. As they looked up, they saw stars unlike any in the real world, so close they felt within reach. The village, bathed in an otherworldly beauty, exuded a strange sense of calm.
It didn’t take long for them to realize they were in a place called “Elysion.” Memories long forgotten in the real world resurfaced, and they vividly recalled that they had lived in this world for a long time, not as ordinary humans, but as gods.
The Awakening of the Gods
•Loki (Satoshi Koizumi): Remembering his role as a powerful god, Satoshi combined his cool, analytical nature as a physicist with the divine power he now possessed. “In this world, we are not just humans. We are gods with immense power…”
•Asclepius (Masato Matsuda): Masato, recalling his divine role as the god of healing and medicine, murmured, “It seems the time has come to use this power to save lives once again.”
•Apollo (Kira Moroboshi): Kira, the god of music and art, spoke with anticipation, “Perhaps it is here that we will be tested to show our true worth.”
•Uranus (Sora Amano): Realizing his role as the god who controls the stars, Sora calmly analyzed the situation. “Our knowledge and power will surely be put to the test here.”
•Minerva (Tomomi Koizumi): Remembering her role as the goddess of wisdom and strategy, Tomomi understood their purpose. “Our knowledge will be challenged in this world.”
•Gaia (Misa Morino): Misa, regaining her role as the goddess of the earth and nature, felt her connection to the land. “My powers are needed once more in this place.”
•Vishnu (Li Wenqiang): Li, the god of creation and destruction, calmly stated, “With our combined powers, we may be able to face this anomaly.”
Welcomed by the Village
Upon their arrival in the village of Elysion, they were greeted by the wolf-people who lived there. The villagers welcomed the gods with reverence and awe. At the village’s central gathering hall, the village chief bowed deeply to them before speaking.
“We are deeply grateful for the return of the gods. Recently, a shadowy presence has appeared in this land, causing turmoil around our village,” the chief said.
Loki (Satoshi) listened carefully and asked, “What is the nature of this shadow? Can we assist in dealing with it?”
The village chief, looking troubled, explained, “The shadow has a tangible form and has been threatening our village. We’ve tried to resist several times, but our strength is insufficient. We must find a way to eliminate this menace at its root.”
Vishnu (Li Wenqiang) spoke calmly, “This shadow isn’t just a phenomenon; there seems to be a deeper issue at play. Whether our powers are enough to resolve it remains to be seen, but first, we need to investigate the cause.”
Exploring Elysion and Preparing for the Journey
That night, the group explored the village. Elysion was a place where ancient architecture and the beauty of nature harmonized, with stars so close it felt like they could touch them.
“The stars here… They’re nothing like the ones in our world. It feels as if I could reach out and grasp them,” Uranus (Sora) remarked in awe.
“It does feel like time stands still in this place,” Minerva (Tomomi) agreed softly.
That night, they stayed at the village inn and slowly began to adjust to life in this otherworldly realm. By morning, the villagers had sought further assistance from the gods, and the group prepared for the next phase of their journey.
