Chapter 19 : What A Wonderful World

Chris staring at the fountain, he then heard a sound of someone taking pictures. He turned around to see Joy holding her phone, looking directly at him

Taken aback of Joy's action, Chris blushes a bit and said "You should take a pictures of yourself not me"

Joy laughed a little "But you are the most beautiful thing in this picture. I can't resist taking pictures of your handsome face..."

Chris then playfully jokes in a arrogant way of saying " Well you are indeed correct I, in fact the most handsome person in this city"

Joy laughed even more "Oh, you think so? Then i should take a picture of your arrogant face too... I want to keep that image forever in my phone. It's very cute..."

Chris playfully try to grab Joy's phone "Oh no you don't, give it to me"

Joy laughed and tried to dodge Chris's grabby hands "I won't give it, i want your photo! I can't wait to look at this picture everyday... It will make me feel better whenever im sad or lonely..."

Chris is now playfully chasing Joy around the fountain

Joy laughed even more and ran around the fountain trying to avoid Chris's grabby hands "Oh no, you won't catch me!"

Chris is laughing "You meanie rich girl"

Joy stopped running and looked at Chris with a playful expression "I am rich but i'm not a meanie... And don't you forget that I can easily kick your ass if you want to get that picture back."

Chris then playfully flexing his arm "Don't underestimate me, I'm strong too"

Joy laughed "Oh really? Prove it. Show me your strength then, i want to see you try... I'm curious what kind of person are you underneath that handsome face and arrogant personality..."

Wanting Joy to show his strength, Chris took a deep breath and then suddenly he pinned Joy to the ground, Chris is stronger than she thought. He smiled at her while looking down on her with his playful eyes

Suddenly an old couple giggles at them "How sweet the two of you for each other, you two will be a great couple"

Joy was a little embarrassed and she quickly turned her face away from the old couple. Chris then let go of Joy "We are not together... We're just friends..."

Chris blushing red "Y-Yeah, we just met yesterday, I'm actually her personal guide in this city"

The old couple laughs and they said "Well, you both look so cute together."

The old couple walk away and they waved goodbye to the both of them

Chris was still blushing as he looked at Joy, who is now looking back at him with a smile on her face

Joy got up and dusted herself off. She looked at Chris again with a smile on her face, she was now closer to him so they are almost touching each other's faces. "Well... I guess we should go explore this city then? We have plenty of time before sunset..."

Chris smiles, he then gently hold Joy's hand "Come on, let's see where this adventure takes us."

Hand in hand, they circle the fountain, their laughter mingling with the soothing sound of flowing water.

As they bid farewell to the fountain, Chris and Joy carry with them memories that would last a lifetime, a testament to the enduring power of trust and care and the beauty of unexpected journeys.

They then continued their adventure, Joy spotted a stall selling piping hot dumplings. "Oh, I love dumplings! Let's try some," she suggested eagerly, her eyes lighting up with anticipation.

They approached the stall and ordered a variety of dumplings, each one filled with a tantalizing combination of meats, vegetables, and spices. As they waited for their order to be freshly steamed, they chatted animatedly about their favorite foods and travel adventures.

When the steaming basket of dumplings arrived, Joy wasted no time in picking one up with her chopsticks and taking a bite. Her eyes widened in delight as the burst of flavors danced on her taste buds.

"Mmm, these are amazing! You have to try one," she exclaimed, offering a dumpling to Chris.

Chris blush and hesitated for a moment before accepting the proffered dumpling, his mouth watering at the delicious aroma. He took a tentative bite and was immediately rewarded with a burst of savory goodness.

"Wow, these are incredible! I can see why you love dumplings so much," he remarked with a grin.

Enjoying the food for a while, Joy looked down at the ground, looking sad. Chris noticed Joy's somber expression as she picked at her dumplings. "Joy, is something wrong? Are you okay?" he asked, genuine concern in his voice.
