The Saiyan In The Cultivation World.

Chapter 11: Chapter 11

Night soon fell, and the carriage came to a halt as we set up camp for the night. I had brought along guards and a small group of maids to tend to my needs, ensuring the journey would proceed without issue.

"Prince, where are you going? Demon beasts are common in these parts. Please, stay close to the carriage," one of the guards said, his tone uneasy as he watched me stride toward the forest.

The concern on his face was understandable. As a Level 8 Core Formation cultivator, he was strong by ordinary standards, but the very thought of the emperor's most cherished son, coming to harm unsettled him. He was my personal guard, loyal, and handpicked by my father. For someone of his caliber to look uneasy was telling.

Most of my guards were at Level 7 Core Formation, chosen more for their loyalty than their overwhelming strength. None among them were at the Nascent Soul Realm, simply because no one of such a realm would lower themselves to be a servant...

"I'm going to test my physique," I said, my voice calm and unwavering. My statement only seemed to confuse him further. However, when Lan Mei silently followed me into the forest, his tension eased somewhat. He understood her strength, at least at Level 10 Core Formation, and knew she could intervene if necessary.

"This is a good distance," Lan Mei said softly once we had ventured deep enough into the forest. I nodded, taking a deep breath as the moonlight filtered through the dense canopy of trees. Above us hung the full moon, bright and radiant, a source of power for Saiyans like me.

A Saiyan with their tail intact could transform into a Great Ape when they look upon a full moon. This transformation unlocked a tenfold increase in physical power, but it came with a dangerous drawback: the risk of losing oneself to blind rage. Only the most disciplined Saiyans could retain their reason and control in this form.

I had never trained to control it. My only experience with this transformation had been as a baby when I had no power over myself. Reincarnation had granted me the ability to start anew, but mastering this monstrous form was uncharted territory for me.

Tonight, for the first time, I would attempt to control the beast within. I steadied my breathing, clearing my mind and preparing myself for the challenge. Lan Mei stood silently nearby, her presence reassuring yet watchful.

I lifted my gaze to the sky, the full moon glowing with a radiance that seemed to call out to me. The transformation began almost immediately. My body started to morph, muscles bulging and bones shifting as I felt an overwhelming surge of energy course through me.

My face elongated, reshaping into the distinct features of a Great Ape. My once-human form gave way to something primal, something ancient. My clothing stretched and tore apart as my body expanded. Bit by bit, the small frame of a young boy was replaced by the towering, ferocious form of a massive ape.

Lan Mei stood nearby, her eyes fixed on me with a look of calm curiosity, tinged with intrigue. The wild, berserk aura radiating from me didn't faze her in the slightest. She remained unmoving, a silent witness to the transformation.

As the process was completed, I stood tall... no, colossal. My new form loomed over the forest at an awe-inspiring 90 feet. Power pulsed through every fiber of my being, wild and untamed. The primal instincts of the Great Ape surged within me, a cacophony of rage and strength threatening to overwhelm my mind.

I threw back my head and released a deafening roar, shaking the very air. The ground beneath me trembled, and the force of my voice sent trees flying in every direction for dozens of meters as if nature itself recoiled from my presence.

"So, this is a hint of the power your mother sealed away… what a strange lifeforce," Lan Mei murmured, her voice calm but filled with intrigue. She watched as the enormous Great Ape began to gather energy in its mouth, the swirling mass of Ki glowing brighter with every passing second. "It has destructive capabilities, yet it seems remarkably easy to manipulate."

The Ape roared, unleashing the massive beam of Ki directly toward her. The energy blast was a force capable of leveling cities, a manifestation of unrestrained power and fury. Yet, Lan Mei didn't flinch. Instead, she smiled faintly, her demeanor completely unaffected by the incoming destruction.

Raising her hand, she caught the beam effortlessly, compressing it into her palm. The radiant energy condensed into a small, pulsating sphere that she inspected with great interest, her eyes glowing faintly in the moonlight.

"I see… it's different from the energy Body Cultivators rely on," she remarked, turning the sphere in her hand. "This Ki holds a strange potential. It could even allow flight, among other useful abilities. Fascinating."

Body Cultivators drew power from their physical form, harnessing their life force to perform incredible feats. But flight was rarely within their reach unless they supplemented their path with Qi, Soul cultivation, or external artifacts. This Ki was something else entirely, a versatile force that could transcend those limitations.

She looked up at the Great Ape, whose massive leg was raised, poised to stomp her into the ground. Her gaze was gentle, her tone calm as she addressed the towering beast. "Young Master, you wouldn't try to harm me again, would you?"

The words carried no threat, but her tone had an undeniable weight. The Great Ape hesitated, its raised foot freezing mid-air. A moment passed. Then another. Sweat began to bead on the creature's enormous brow, and its wild, animalistic fury wavered. Slowly, the foot retreated, planting itself back on the ground.

"Congratulations, Young Master. I knew you could regain control," Lan Mei said warmly, clapping her hands in delight. The towering Great Ape paused, its primal aura subsiding, and slowly sat down. The colossal form began to steady itself, and Lianchen, now back in control, closed his eyes to meditate.

Lan Mei watched in silence, her gaze thoughtful as she observed the massive figure before her.

'This form grants him the power to rival even a Soul Tempering Realm cultivator,' she mused, a faint smile playing on her lips. For most cultivators, a tenfold boost in power might not seem extraordinary outside the confines of this small world. But for Lianchen, it was staggering, because he wasn't just skipping a handful of levels. At Level 1 Body Tempering, his base power was already exceptional, and this transformation pushed him to rival someone at Level 6 Soul Tempering.

'How many levels has he just skipped?' she thought, her eyes narrowing slightly. By her calculation, Lianchen had jumped an astonishing 25 levels. And at this stage, where every single level was a grueling battle of progression, that kind of leap was practically unheard of.

The sheer absurdity of the feat sank in. The difficulty of skipping levels was immense at lower cultivation stages, where foundational power was limited. If Lianchen could already achieve this now, then as his base strength grew, his ability to transcend levels would only increase exponentially.

'This is what it means to have unlimited potential,' Lan Mei thought, her expression shifting to one of quiet awe. But even she didn't fully grasp the truth of what that meant. Lianchen wasn't just a prodigy with exceptional talent, he was a Saiyan and not just any Saiyan. He was a Legendary Super Saiyan.

Saiyans were defined by their boundless potential, able to grow stronger so long as they encountered the right stimuli, whether through battle, adversity, or sheer will. Their progress was limited only by their mindset. When a Saiyan believed they had reached their peak, that belief could become their greatest obstacle.

But Lianchen was different. A Legendary Super Saiyan wasn't bound by the same struggles as ordinary Saiyans. Their connection to their potential was far more profound, allowing them to tap into their limitless growth far more easily. Growth for them was as natural as breathing.

Lan Mei's thoughts lingered on this as she continued to watch. She didn't fully understand the depths of his potential yet, but she could sense it, an endless abyss of power waiting to be unleashed. And she knew one thing for certain: this was only the beginning.

'The next step after this is to try and go Legendary Super Saiyan while in my Great Ape form... sigh, what a struggle.' I thought, already bracing myself for the monumental task ahead. The road to mastery was long, but there was no avoiding it. Determination hardened my resolve as I opened my eyes, my massive form shrinking back to normal.

I exhaled deeply, shaking off the calm focus that had allowed me to regain control. Then, lifting my gaze to the full moon once more, I allowed the primal instincts to take over. Instantly, my body transformed again, and I plunged into a berserk state.

This time, there would be no preparatory calm, no mental barriers. I needed to learn to master this form in the chaos of instinct itself.

As expected, it was anything but easy. My Saiyan instincts were overwhelming, a raging storm of destruction and aggression. I spent the entire night locked in a battle against myself, thrashing through the forest as I fought to maintain even a shred of control. Lan Mei stood by, her presence steady, though I knew she was prepared to intervene if necessary.

By the time the first light of dawn broke through the clouds, I had made only the smallest progress. I could barely stop myself from attacking Lan Mei, a feat that felt monumental at the moment but was frustratingly minor in the grand scheme of mastering this form. My instincts as a Saiyan were relentless, and taming them was a battle that would demand everything I had.

Exhausted, I stumbled back toward the carriage as the morning sun warmed the earth. Lan Mei was already waiting for me, her usual calm expression unchanged by the night's chaos. Without a word, I collapsed into the carriage and laid my head on her lap. Her thighs were soft, warm, and inviting, perfect for resting my battered body and mind.

As I closed my eyes, a fleeting thought crossed my mind. 'I can't wait to have a harem.'

Love and trust? They were luxuries I had no interest in. Relationships built on emotions were vulnerable to heartbreak and betrayal. To me, that was foolishness. Why risk opening the door to such weaknesses when simpler, more practical arrangements could be made?

Lan Mei's hand rested gently on my head as I drifted into sleep, my thoughts already fading. The challenges of the night weighed on me but so did the anticipation of the path ahead. There was still so much to master, so much to build
