The rise of the pervert primordial

Chapter 696: Into the gate (part 2)

While those young girls were already imagining how smooth will their skin become in the future thanks to the yin accumulation crystal, Aster looked in a specific direction as he waited for an answer to the message he previously sent.

"Hoh, so they were the ones you reserved those five spots for?", said Valentina as she saw the five-person group led by a tall guy with long brown hair, that was the young saber from the Wanderer sect, Cayden, who was accompanied by his girlfriend, Sandra and three male peak Genesis Manifestation elders.

"Yeah, a I thought that a few extra reliable hands wouldn't hurt, besides I kind of owed that guy a bit", said Aster.

Not only did Cayden lent him a hand to mess with the Fey back at the auction, but among the many things that the ring passed to him by Wade, contained, there were not that many that were of the standard he has set for his family.

And one of the few things that did, came from Cayden since he naturally also had to chip in for the payment, as the Wanderer sect of course wanted to enter the gate.

Cayden could have paid with spirit jades or average materials, resources and the like, like most did, but he instead sent an actually valuable thing as a sign of goodwill, he didn't even attach a note or anything, Aster noticed it because he see the traces of Cayden's spirit energy on the thing he used as payment.

So, he decided to repay the favor, and also screw over the big three sects and forces, how you ask, well Cayden, Sandra and the three elders counted as a part of his group, but the Wanderer sect also paid to enter the gate so… there was another group from their sect that would be entering, at the other side, a ten-person group to be more accurate.

"Hey, why the hell are those guys from the Wanderer sect being taken into account, there is a group from them going with the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley!", exclaimed a representative from a second-tier force.

"Yeah, that's not fair, there will be fifteen people from the Wanderer sect, but some of us only got two spots", added a representative from a third-tier force, to which the half Heavenly realm middle aged representative from the Wanderer sect, casually said.

"Because we paid enough to secure five spots, am I right, Cascade young master?".

Wade saw the smirk on Aster's face and his hands trembled due to anger, knowing that he was being played with, however he couldn't do anything about it, because there was a soul oath involved when the payment was gathered from all the forces that wanted to enter gate.

Also, while he looked down on let alone third tier but even second tier forces like the Blazeheart family, the Wanderer sect is an upper first tier force, very much like the Ocean Aquamarine family, it's just that they weren't in their backyard, but that didn't mean they were a force to be trifled with, especially not without a proper justification, so he swallowed is anger to then say.

"That is right, you all know how much you contributed… as for the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley, he can do as he pleases with his assigned spots", and with those words, the complains died down, but how could Aster not take the chance to kick someone when they are down.

"If you wanted more spots, you should have paid more", he mockingly said as he gazed at the ones that were the most incensed about the situation, namely the Marsh Domain, Pleasure Palace, Bayer family and the cherry on top, the Blazeheart family.

It's worth mentioning that, basically only the big three had fifteen spots assigned to each of them, originally, but now the Wanderer sect was the same, Cayden's four friends and six elders composed the ten people group.

In contrast, all the other forces had at most five spots assigned to them, just the previous amounts to a total of 65 people, then there is the temporary mercenary alliance which consisted in five mercenary groups that obtained two spots each, for a total of another 10 people.

The Golden Scale Auction House, which consisted in the Marius and Teles families that obtained five spots each, for another total of 10 people, as for the last 15 spots they were distributed among the third-tier forces and rogues that were hired by them.

"Thanks for the invitation", said Cayden as he greeted Aster, who nodded in response.

"No problem, I wasn't the only one that took the decision though, one of my companions vouched for your side", said Aster as he gazed at Agnes from the corner of his eye, making Sandra slightly bow towards the Sun Diamond princess, thinking she put in a good word for them.

That wasn't exactly the case, Agnes took the initiative to ask about Sandra's older sister when they first met, and Aster knows that she wouldn't show interest on anyone that wasn't worth it, so that further reinforced his decision to give those spots to Cayden.

Agnes didn't bother to clear the misunderstanding; she was too busy having her face slightly redden as she realized that Aster paid attention to such a small action taken by her.

"Enter the gate already, Lord of the Twin Sword Valley", said Wade, interrupting the friendly exchange between Aster and the group from the Wanderer sect, not wanting to give Aster any time to stir up more troubles.

"Of course, dear customers", he said as he walked towards the giant gate while rubbing salt on the wound of those guys one last time, making the girls from the Myriad Occupation sect giggle, before they followed Aster.

Before entering, Aster turned around and nodded at William's direction, before he placed his hand on the gate, which opened to reveal a black portal behind of it, it looked similar to the distortions but at the same time different, as it was completely stable.

The eyes of the disciples and even the elders from the Myriad Occupation sect, sparkled as they saw Aster's enter the gate, following in a second later.

….

For a second everything blacked out for Aster, before things returned to normal, it was like blinking, then Aster found himself in a strange place.

"No walls or roof, only ground?", said Aster as he observed his surroundings, what lied ahead of him was a path without anything on the sides nor upwards, it was like a road floating on the void of space, with the difference that there weren't even stars here.

In fact, the only source of light were lamps floating at the borders of the road, they clearly illuminated the path ahead, but didn't seem to affect the empty darkness past that nor above the road.

Also, there was a limit to the path that was illuminated, so they probably had to walk before more of the road would be revealed for them, it was eerie to say the least.

Luckily the road was really ample so there was more than enough space for let alone the less than 400 people that were entering through the gate, but even ten times that number.

"I can't see past that darkness with my eyes… but I don't feel any danger as well", said Aster to Alice and the others, Valentina nodded as she turned around to do a headcount, to confirm that all the disciples had entered the gate.

The Genesis Manifestation elders had been distributed to cover the rear, while the middle of the group was being watched over by the Mortal Transcending and Sea of Knowledge, being led by Mikaela and two of the three Genesis Manifestation elders brought by Cayden.

"Let's start walki…", Aster who was about to give the green light to advance was interrupted by an elder from the Marsh Domain.

"Now!", with a single word, the groups from the Marsh Domain, Pleasure Palace, Bayer and Blazeheart families spread in the four directions, surrounding the group from the Myriad Occupation sect.

"What kind of game are you idiots playing now?", casually asked Aster, to which one of the two disciples from the Blazeheart family that tagged along, namely those two Mortal Transcending guys related to Iris's cousin, said.

"It's simple, we decided to get rid of an annoying piece of trash like you as soon as it was possible".

"Really, and what makes you believe, it's possible now?", amusingly asked Aster, making the elder from the Marsh Domain from earlier, shout.

"Let's see you protecting all those bitches in this limited space!", the hands of the elder shone in a dark green light as she released his poison spirit energy, only for Aster to smirk at him.

[Violation to the rules detected, administrating punishment to all the perpetrators involved]

Big words made out of the same blue flames that were burning on the lamps that illuminated the road, appeared on the sky.

Then under the eyes of disbelief of the elder, his poison spirit energy vanished into thin air, and then… blue flames engulfed the elder.

"Aghhh!", pained screams could be heard coming from different places, apparently that elder wasn't the only one planning to attack, in fact someone from Wade's group was also engulfed by the blue flames.

The "punishment" didn't last long, it was just a short burst of flames, and the ones that were engulfed by those flames, simply fainted, the problem is that… their cultivation fell by a whole realm in a single go.

In other words, those at the Genesis Manifestation became Sea of Knowledge, those at the Sea of Knowledge were now Mortal Transcended and the latter actually regressed to the Earthly realms.

"I-It's not suppression, it's a permanent loss of cultivation!", exclaimed the one leading the team from the Marsh Domain.

"Ah right, I forgot to mention it but fighting is prohibited here", said Aster with a playful voice, which made Wade grit his teeth.

'That bastard knew about this, he probably received a list of rules alongside that metal tabled!', he swore in his heart, and he was half right and half wrong.

Aster did know that fighting was prohibited, but he only learned about it when he placed his hand on the gate in order to open it, a stream of information was transmitted directly to him.

And he of course decided to put said information work for his own purposes, as in he told all the members of his group to not do anything if they saw those guys take the initiative to attack them.

The disciples and elders trusted Aster and didn't even take a defensive stance, creating the illusion that they were taken by "surprise", and the stage was set up.

'I didn't expect this to be the punishment, those guys will probably not be able to raise their realms ever again', thought Aster, only for that wild sister of his to say.

'We are going to rip them to shreds soon anyway~'.

Aster inwardly chuckled to then glare at Wade.

"All those whose groups tried to attack us, will gather at the left side of the road and travel at a certain distance from us", he said, to which the leader of the Iron Hall's group said.

"Humph, yeah we tried to get rid of you, so what, you think you can order us around like before!", his bravado deflated the next second when Aster casually added.

"Well, you remain close to my group after trying to attack us… if you dare".

'There might be more roles which we ignore and that bastard knows them all, what if there is a loophole that allows him to attack us while we are eating or sleeping, staying close to them will be really stupid, damn it!!!', cursed Wade to his insides.

"Everyone to the left side of the road!", he shouted with an authority filled voice, surprisingly, or not really, even the groups of people that didn't attack, like the mercenaries for example, followed Wade's arrangement, the only ones that separated from them and joined Aster's "side" were the ten from the Wanderer sect.

Of course, even if that was the case, there was a clear difference between the number of people on the right and left sides of the road, since Wade had only 90 people and Aster had 260.

That being said, numbers aren't everything, out of those 260, two hundred are disciples at the earthly realms, there were less than forty Transcending realm or above cultivators on Aster's side, while Wade's side was mostly composed of Transcending realm cultivators, with only a few exceptions like Fawn for example.

There was also a palanquin being carried by elders from the Ocean Aquamarine and Mountain Amber families, where Bradley and Albert were resting, since they were still refining the resources brought by the Heavenly realm elders, for them to recover.

"Now that the pests are gone, let's start walking, we have a long way ahead of us", said Aster while he added in a voice that only his allies could hear.

'If you are tired you can circulate your spirit energy, but don't externalize it', the girls and the elders nodded and then the march started.

With Aster at the vanguard the group from the Myriad Occupation sect advanced without a second of hesitation, even when they reached the "end" of the road, Aster casually walked into the darkness, which led to the next part of the road to be illuminated as the lamps ahead of them lit up.

All this under the angered glare of Wade who led his group at a distance from Aster, in both senses, since he didn't dare to do anything before Aster had taken the initiative, not knowing if they would break a rule, which would result in being punished, in other words while the Myriad Occupation sect advanced without a care in world, with the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley paving the way and assuring those that followed him that there was no danger.

He had to be wary of every step he took; it was an utter humiliation for him an heir from the Ocean Aquamarine family.

'Enjoy it while you can, you arrogant bastard, I'll make you vomit every single spirit jade you took from me…', while Wade was in the middle of imagining his revenge, a few hours had passed and he suddenly saw Aster stopping.

And as much as he didn't want it, he immediately raised his hand to make his group stop its advance, thinking that there was something going on ahead, so imagine his expression when he saw Aster take out a pile of blankets to then pass them to the one next to him, who did the same, an action that repeated until many groups of thirty or so were formed.

Then said groups sat down on top of the blankets, and once again Aster started distributing something to each of them.

"Picnic baskets… hey what the hell is the meaning of this!", exclaimed Wade, to which Aster who was feeding a slice of apple to the little girl that was sitting on his lap, casually said.

"What, are you going to tell me that the people from the Ocean Aquamarine family, doesn't eat or rest?".

"Of course we do, but it's only been around four hours since we entered this plac…", Wade's words were interrupted by Aster adding.

"I have a very strict schedule, that includes having three meals every day, in any case why do you care what my group does, it's not like we are travelling together".

Wade clenched his fists, he of course couldn't say that they were following behind Aster, since that would be admitting that they are relying on him to guide the way.

"And just to inform you, after finishing our lunch we'll be taking a two-hour break before continuing, and this will repeat at 7:00 Pm, also we'll completely stop at midnight to sleep a minimum of eight hours, I have to take care of a lot junior sisters who are still in their growing phase after all", jokingly said Aster, making a bunch of girls softly laugh.

Wade on the other hand nearly lost it on the spot, if they followed such a schedule, their travel through this road will extend for days.

"Screw them, young master let's continue by ourselves, in any case it's better if we reach our destiny before and monopolize all the treasures", said the vice-leader from Wade's group.

A motion that was seconded by the vast majority of leaders of their respective teams, to which Wade ultimately nodded.

'In any case, I have already seen that bastard continue through the road even when he reached the non-illuminated border, it won't be too late to advance until midnight and then wait for them to catch up, we'll be well-rested by then and they can't attack us in our sleep any way', thought the Ocean Aquamarine young master to then say.

"Let's go", and with that the group on the left side of the road started advancing, while Aster took a bite of a sandwich that Sarina prepared for him on the spot, to then lay down on the blanket and close his eyes, while the girls sat down next to him, Kana who was accompanied by Mylene visited all the groups to "steal" food from them.

Obviously, those girls willingly handed some food to the little girl who simply wanted to chat with as much of her big sisters as possible, by the time Kana had made a whole turn through the group the Myriad Occupation sect and returned to Aster's side, the latter opened his eyes.

"It's been an hour, so it should be starting any second now…", Aster hadn't finished his sentence when a plethora of screams could be heard from the road ahead, more accurately from the border which was covered in darkness, as the lamps didn't illuminate the road unless there was someone walking on that part.

"Help!", they weren't pained screams unlike before, but the panic and fear in them was noticeable, which made Valentina frown, Aster already told the elders that they should eat and take a rest for the next two hours, as they would need to be in their best condition for what would come, but they didn't exactly know what that would be.

Of course the whole schedule thing was a lie, well Aster does indeed not like the fact that cultivators tend to forget the simple pleasures of life, like eating and sleeping at least 8 hours a day, but it's not like he couldn't jump one meal or sleep less if needed, it's just that one should adapt to the hours that are available on a day, and no one said that a day in this place was… the same as outside.

"Mm, aren't the flames on the lamps dimming down?", asked a girl from the Green Lotus faction, the next second, the flames on all the lamps that floated on the borders of the road, dimmed down, reducing the amount of light they were emitting in less than a third of the previous.

"Don't worry, it's just that "night" has come, those who had cultivated the soul on guard", said Aster, his calm yet firm voice travelled through the whole area, easing the girls who were showing signs of being nervous, because they all shared the same thought, "If senior brother is here, why should we be afraid".

Once all the lamps that illuminated the road had finished adjusting the light they were emitting, another change happened, the darkness on the border ahead, also diminished, allowing them to see what was happening.

Wade's group which was in chaos as of current, was rushing towards them, followed by… a horde of floating semi-transparent humanoid figures, Aster stopped paying attention to the situation ahead, because now that the darkness has diminished a bit, his dragon eyes could see around fifty meters into the empty space that surrounded them at both sidewards and upwards.

And those ghost-like creatures were coming at them from the three directions, they wore worn out white mantles, and black wood masks, their extremities which were the only thing visible, were withered and gray colored, with claws on their feet and hands.

That being said, he couldn't detect any killing intent coming from those things, they instead were looking at the soul cultivators of the group as if they were their dinner, those things that were charging at them as of current probably preyed on soul energy.

"Humph!", Aster suddenly stood up, his body lit up in bright yellow flames, that then spread throughout the whole area surrounding till the last member of his group,

"Isn't this yang radiance, but why does it feel comfortable, it's warm and cozy, like the sun when the winter ends and spring comes", mumbled a disciple from the Orange Lotus.

Sure, for those girls and anyone who was on Aster's side, those yellow flames felt soothing, however for the hundreds of things that were pouring in from everywhere, they were horrifying.

"Get Lost", with two words, the vast majority of the incoming ghosts turned around and escaped, disappearing into the darkness a second later, Aster then snapped his fingers and all the yellow flames were absorbed back into his body, making quite a few of those girls who were enjoying the warm sensation pout.

"It's not over yet, soul cultivators who can use condensation, prepare for the real fight", said Aster, as he saw the ghosts that weren't scared away by his yang radiance, those were at least twice the size of the average ones, and they had chains hanging from their arms as well.
