After checking the large information board in the building's entrance hall, Minos and the others quickly found out where they had to go to perform the physical exam. There were many rooms designated for the test to be carried out, and so they just needed to choose any one of these and join the queue.
Thus, the four soon started looking for one of such rooms, which had a comparatively shorter waiting line.
They made their way to the fourth floor of the building and continued to actively look until they finally found a line that was not as crowded as the other rooms. There were just over 20 people in this place, which shouldn't take long for Minos, Kara, and Ford to complete their tests.
Upon entering the room and joining the line with the competitors, their attention was drawn to a large structure that was placed in the left corner of the room. This rectangular 'object' was about 3 meters tall and 2 meters long and wide.
The structure had a hollow interior and had enough space for an adult to stand. It also had a transparent glass door and three large screens positioned on its sides.
This structure was an array that served as an examination device and was developed through the joint work of three professionals from different fields: a blacksmith, a designer, and an array master.
The designer was responsible for designing the external structure of the device, but in contrast, the blacksmith had made the components that were present in this array. The array master, on the other hand, had the job of making this whole thing work well, giving it the ability to ascertain the physical characteristics of the users of this device.
But despite being complicated, this device was not an expensive item for the Flaming Empire sects. At most, this array could be qualified to be categorized as a high-level grade-2 device.
Therefore, there were dozens of these in this building since that was not of much significance for the sects who had Spiritual Saints in their ranks!
Other than the participants, there were also five more people in the room. Two of these were the guards from the Cromwell Kingdom for maintaining order and two examiners to register the candidates who would be able to continue in the tournament and an array master who oversaw the operation of this large physical evaluation array.

"OK," she nodded before entering the array and standing there still while waiting for the process to start.

The test continued until, finally, it was the turn of Minos' group. Turning to Ford, Minos said, "You and your sister should go first."
"Hmm, okay. I'll go first then," Ford nodded with a smile and then proceeded to take his test.
It didn't take even a minute before his results appeared on one of the array screens:

The examiner finally showed some satisfaction after seeing a worthy competitor before saying, "Very well! Ford Carline is qualified!"
Upon hearing this, the people in line behind Minos began to talk actively after seeing that the Carline siblings were taking their test in the same room.
"See there, Ms. Kara looks so beautiful today."
"Idiot, stop saying that. I am more curious to know the results of her physical examination."
The conversations continued as Kara finally went to do her test.

"Oh! Finally, someone with a Silver talent!" the examiner muttered in a low voice as he looked at the young Kara with great satisfaction.
"Kara Carline, congratulations on your great talent. You can participate in the Spiritual Tournament."

When Minos' result appeared on the screen after taking a look at it, everyone in the room frowned. It wasn't just the competitors but also the two evaluators and the array master.
They had never seen such a result occur ever before!
This array was even capable of evaluating someone with Golden talent!
'How strange, why is there no result for his talent?' The three people from the Flaming Empire thought about it while trying to figure out why this might have happened.

He knew that he was defeated and let out a sigh while trying to hide his shame. "I'm sorry for my behaviour, young lady. Since that is the case, ehh, the competitor, ehh, Minos can participate in the competition."
Minos had intentionally not given his last name while participating in the Spiritual Tournament. After all, if he achieved a good result, the entire North of the Central Continent would receive the news...
