The rise of a legendary warlock

Hello guys, its me the author of this book.

So this is it the last chap before we jump into the main story line.

I have delayed this for a while now... But I guess its time we Start our real adventure.

Just so you know they are many events I had to modify and skip so we can also do this quick, but. Not to worry everything will become clear in the not so distant future.

This is also one of my longest chap I have ever written.... So expect to read it till you eventually skip the chapter.... Of course i know some of you will do that but its A personal challenge from me.

To spice things a bit, I will like anybody reading this to finish the chapter in at least 20min..obviously I know not all will win the challenge, but you can can prove me wrong.

Either Way not all my chapters will be this long, I only made it this long because, unexpectedly I didn't think it will be this long, and I also don't want to drag on the chapters, so I did what I did.

U can thank me later.

With that being said let's begin our final back story for now....

Chap 16:VICTORY

At the east side of humility city, directly where the king and his commanders where fighting–

From a birds eye sight, looking from above to below,one can see five sections of someone or something moving, this things is mostly that of black dots, with other colors that only an entity with mana can create.

This was were the king, his commanders, and thier enemies, the demons, was were they we're having their own fight.

There were divided into five places in the east.

The king's battle was being held in the middle of this encirclement, hence the black dots in the middle was more than that of the left and right of the king.

On the right slightly forward from the other battle that was in the same part of we're it was.... Was a place that had two dots with different colors.

This was the most brightest battle when it concerns the five fight happening in the east side of humbility city.

This part of this area is lit up with a huge sea of red and black

, both of which are trying to push each and overwhelm the other.

This was naturally we're clora, the human commander for the mages in humbility city and another commander from the demon side we're facing each other.

It seems like even after 5mins of constant energy expansion this battle was to early to consider it coming to an end.

Another part of the same area were the two mages we're facing each other was consisting of another fight that was worth being watched.

This area is we're Erick the human commander for the warrior type soldiers in humbility city was also having a brawl with his enemy.

In this part the only thing that could be notice was two people fighting, exchanging sword slashes, sword skill, and physical attacks, then disappear only to reappear in another part of their battlegrounds.

This fights might look simple to look at and admire by the ordinary, but only few will know that this colorful sparks are not meant for entertainment.

Looking to the lift side from the middle–

strangely though, at the left side there stood two dots,each represent one person, one on which seems to shine with sliver and the other the usual black.

And slightly above was two more dots with one also shining in green and the other black.

This was we're andry the assassin commander of humbility city was facing another assassin type demon commander.

And jack the commander archer of humbility city is also facing an enemy of the same class and almost the same rank as his.

Andry held his two daggers that were sheathed in his waist belt and looked at the person ahead of him with a nonchalant expression on his handsome face.

The person also looked back at him with a different expression on his face.

The demon facial features we're almost that of a human, the only difference being the goat like head, red eyes that shone with killing intent without him noticing it, pointed ears,and sharp fangs that picked slightly out his mouth.

He wore dark leather battle gears from head to toe and just like andry, he also had his hands on his weapon on his waist, a dagger.

"You.... You are a mixed blood aren't you" the demons spoke up first.

"..... "

"You seem to have our type of aura... Even your blood looks and scents familiar, like that if demon blood" he continued speaking.

"Your quiet noisy for an assassin" finally andry spoke up.

"I know you must have suffered in the hands of this humans, because if your blood-"

"Does that matter to you" andry promptly interrupted him halfway.

He could sense we're this conversation was heading to, after all this was not the first time he heard this.

Nevertheless he kept quit to see if he could get out any information out of this.

And just like he expected the demon continue speaking to h a if he was sad of something "*sigh* I just wanted to offer you, to join our demon army. With you joining us you could get your revenge on this selfish humans, not only that but you get infinite freedom, women to have fun all day and riches, just think about it"

"..... "

silence descend on the the two as andry didn't speak and he did not press on to.

He really hoped that andry might fall for the bait, he was using something that only demons have and exclusively it works on mostly with demons like him, and maybe he help them turn the tide of this suicide fight,

but unfortunately.....

"Sorry, I don't team up with a goat... Cause a goat only knows how to blet and eat, hitting you in the butt when its stomach is full"

Without giving the enemy time to react to his words, he drew out his daggers and immediately dashed forward, activating his skill,then vanishing only to reappear behind the stun demon.

The demon was replying this words in his head

'Goat'

'Goat'

Andry was already close enough to activate his skill.

'GOAT!!'

the demon was infuriated, when was the last time someone called him that.

But sensing danger he immdietely tried his best to calm down.

Then he managed to focus enough to activate his skill.

A quick slash shot out from andry's cold blades and was heading for the demons neck from behind.

The slash was very close to the demon yet he did not move, as if frozen in place.

But when the slash moved past the demon neck something surprising happened.

the demon that was supposed to have a headless body suddenly turned into a cloud of dust.

Andry was not surprised by this at all, and instantly slash towards his right in the same place twice.

[Double slash]

Two sharp attacks flew towards the right side of andry and was heading for an empty space from his right.

If anyone was looking at this scene right now, he might think that the assassin commander is just wasting energy, because there was no one there to be attacked.

The slash reached a certain part, but instead of the attack to go past and just keep moving forward, the body of a person magically appeared out of thin air.

Cursing out loud, the demon crossed his daggers in a cross shape to defend himself against the incoming attack, but if he thought that this was enough to stop this attack then he was deadly mistaken.

The sound of metal hitting metal could be heard as the demon legs we're being dragged back, which made his feet sink into the sandy sand, apparently the attack was pushing back.

Pushing his hands out word he managed to redirect the attack to go upward.

Bur this enough took a chip out of his stamina stats.

The demon did not even have time to be happy when he saw andry closing up on him.

Lucky for him he was not to close to him, if not this would have been another attack that would have caught him complete of guard.

The previous attack had sent him back for quit a few meters so it was to be somehow expected that he might to reach him before he stabilize his condition, not to mention that andry was not in a hurry to attack him at all.

The demon commander bent over slightly and stomped the ground before flashing into a dark line that was formed because of the speed he was using.

And so, in this particular area the only thing that could be seen was sliver and black flashing, appearing then disappear like a ghost and the only thing sound that could be heard we're occasional curses and the sound of strong metal clashing with each other.

In the same left side of were the Andry was still fighting...

Jack stood with his bow in his right hand as he analyzed his enemy from head to toe.

The demon was surprisingly a female, a beauty at that too.

She wore black leather armor that shone slightly, she had her bow in her hands as well, red eyes that can scare anyone away, long purple hair that fell down to her waist, a beauty face that can make anyone want to look at all day, with a beauty figure that can be consider perfect even in the human society, she like the other demon commanders also have a human figure.

She was also looking at her enemy with hate and curiosity.

"Don't think because your a lady that I might g easy on you" jack commented with a chuckle.

"I don't care what you do, I will also not spare you even if your the most handsomest man in the universe" she said with hate and disgust.

'For her to show this kind of expression... '

He only said it jokingly, just fit fun, by she took as if he was mocking her....

"Your a mixed as well, that means you have more advantage over me" jack paused to see that she was a little surprised.

She had intended to attack but what she heard can her off guard.

Naturally,only some races have the ability to sense or see another person's race,unsurprisingly humans don't have that ability to detect bloodline, and the only person that might have that ability will be the king himself, any other person will be using a skill to do that.

But this type of skills aren't reliable so even if he has the skill he will Not be able to detect her race that easily.

In fact she will know if he was using a skill on her or not, yet she did Not notice any of that.

"Other than that your also a mage, that could be consider overkill in my view" jack said.

Now her eyes were completely wide open.

How the heck did he know.

For god's sake they have not started fighting yet... He somehow managed to see this all.

'I did not release mana out, and even if I did he will not notice it until I release in large counties'She thought to herself as she narrowed her eyes.

This information he had blurted is only known by on me person in the entire demon kingdom, she had done so well to hide this so she will not allow him to leave alive.

Because if it is known...

" so how about we play a game.... If you win then you can do whatever you want to do with me, but if I win then you have to come with me to my kingdom with a promise you will not hurt anyone at all, also don't worry you will not be tortured nor will you be forced to join our kingdom force" jack smiled as he interrupted her train of them thought.

"... "

She fell into deep contemplation as she thought of this seriously, she was very hesitate on this because this guy seem to be a mysterious person, and she does not want to take risks.

She was a very prideful existence by nature and she had every right to be proud, but she was very worried about this.

She felt like this guy had something up his sleeves for him to fight her even after knowing what she is and knowing that she was an archer and also a mage.

No, no, no, the the was simply to big.

She was about to deny this challenge when....

"Or what are you scared of losing,I thought you we're going to accept it instantly Hmm,but seeing you now I can say your weak. for all I know only a weakling will hesitate because he only knows how to doubt his own strenght, then it only means your not even confident of your power" jack suddenly said with a casual smile.

Hearing his words, and knowing that it was meant to taunt her, she still could not help but fall for it.

If there is any word she hate then that would be....

'Weak, i'll show you who's weak'

There was a weakness when it comes to demons.... And that was they we're very easy to taunt.

"I accept your challenge"

She did not even wait for him to speak when she aim at him with her bow.

Dark sparks gather, forming the shape of an arrow.

In the next second she shot her arrow.

The sound of the rope of her bow mixed with the sound of air being split was what jack heard.

Immediately, he set his bow as well to aim at the incoming at, simultaneously removing an arrow from his quiver that was behind his back.

Looking at the black arrow heading towards him in a breathtaking speed, calculating his arrow trajectory, his arrow speed, hitting for it two explode and finally the length in which his afro can fly to meet the magic arrow so as for it explode in a safe distance from him.

The arrow was just 30m away from when he dragged his arrow with full force.

By then the dark arrow is 25m away so he release it.

The two arrows met at full swing and it seems like the dark arrow was pushing the normal arrow, but suddenly the normal arrow exploded which made the other dark arrow to explode as well, causing a dark smoke to appear.

The female demon commander narrowed her eyes at this site,she knew this not going to be an easy battle and even after just using her normal magic skill it was still enough to destroy his normal attacks but looking at this she was more confirmed that she had made a mistake.

when the smoke finally dispersed she could finally see behind, and what she saw made her even more worried.

It was still jack standing in his same position, not panting nor gasping for air, and with his same smile on his face.

A sign that his earlier attack was just as casual as her's.

"Now you've attack... its finally my turn"

With quick movement of his hands for arrows were shot, one at a time at lightning speed forward her.

Seeing this she immediately started running towards the attack.

The first attack came and she successfully dodge it.

She then bent down to dodge the second one.

Jump up to jump the third one.

Shifted her head to the left and narrowly dodge the last arrow.

'I have to say that his skill are unique, he can somehow predict his enemy trajectory and his still able to fire exactly we're his enemy will have a hard time dodging..... But it is not enough form him to defeat me!' She thought inwardly.

She then stopped 100m away from him.

Sending out mana out, and towards her skill scroll deep in her soul, following the drawing in her mind, another dark was formed, but this was not any normal dark, this arrow was a long dark arrow can react at 40inch in length alone.

"Hear use this skill to remember.... My name is Dora" Dora the second most strongest demon commander in the group of ten demons, shouted as she fed her skill with more mana while gritting her white teeth to withstand the weight of her own skill.

She was using at least 1/4 of her mana reserves for this attack.

She knew that killing him with this attack is almost near impossible, but her aim was never to kill him.... At least not instantly.

She release her bow string after it started becoming harder for her to control her aim, the long-black arrow fly high up into the sky.....

'Dora huh.... I will surely remember that name'

He said as he stared at the black arrow that was multiplying in the air.

Reflected in his eyes was thousands of dark arrows falling towards him from the sky.

.....

'This battle is dragging on more than I thought' the king thought inwardly.

He looked around him and saw the three warriors attacking him from three corners, the mage preparing another attack and the archers pulling thier bow strings, ready to fire him at any second now, he saw all this in slow motion.

But on like others who might panic because he was simply cornered from all side, instead he had a calm and composed expression on his face.

The three warriors upon reaching close enough, sprang up slashing down wards, aiming to give him critical strikes.

The dark mage who had his eyes closed suddenly opened his eyes hand blew a burst of dark flame that was heading towards the king from below.

The archers released there arrows and it caught on to become a dark arrow that seem to freeze the dust particles in the air.

The king looked at this with different scenarios forging by him and suddenly crumbling in his head.

His aim was to take advantage of this situation and kill at least one person out the six around him after performing his counterattack because on like others who might watch this and say he made a big mistake being in circled, he could say the same thing by saying that in reality they were the one who made the mistake.... A grave mistake.

'I guess that skill will be useful here'

The king who held his spear in his waist side which made it look like he was hiding half of it behind his body.

Using that pose to his advantage he started spinning his spear from his waist to his head at the same time he activated his skill.

[Golden hurricane]

Immediately a golden whirlwind was formed as it circled around the king.

The demons who we're already could not react when they thief vision being dragged around.

The attack that was coming was like a dragons breath, but black.

When it came close to the hurricane, it was drawn like a black hole drawing power from a nearby star.

The golden whirlwind suddenly became black as it fused with the mage's attack.

The arrows have already been thrown away by the hurricane.

The demons where already dizzy began feeling hotter and so they started gaining burn marks on thier armors and opened parts of there body.

When the king finished spinning his spear above his head 5times in a row, he stopped then quick hit spear to stand like him while activating another skill.

[Burst]

The whirlwind that was now black exploded outward with the demons, which sent them flying 300m away.

Then without even resting he stomped the ground as a golden glow engulfed him for a moment.

[dash]

An instant he appeared in front of the stun demon mage.

The demon has spent a lot of mana trying to target the king, and whenever he thinks he might get a strike because of the tough situation he looks to be in....

Somehow he always manages to escape, like he knows were the attacks are coming from and were they'll be landing, and sometimes he also counterattack.

The last attack have completely drained the demon mage.

The king raised his spear high and stab it down directly towards the demons head.

By demon even had a chance to see, his head was mercilessly struck by the spear.

All the demon felt was pain before the world became dark for him.... A darkness that will remain eternal for him.

The dark mage head exploded like a watermelon falling from the 11th floor and his body promptly slip to the ground, blood pour out as pieces of brain particles and skull mixed together making an extremely disgusting site to see.

The once strong and handsome commander, feared by many, among which some demons are among, laid headless and lifeless on the ground before disappearing in a puff of dark smoke.

The king seeing this scene, he did not even bat an eyelid as spun around and stomped hard again, towards the archers.

The warriors we're in stun mode and he had 10 more seconds before they regain there consciousness.

Stomping his with more force that the ground beneath him broke into pieces as he dash with more force.

The archers have long since awaken from thier stupor after the mage's death, so they aimed at the golden flash heading towards them in a hurry.

But we're they fast enough, the answer to the question was.... Surprisingly yes.

Because he was coming to them in a straight and the distance separating them was large, large enough to take even a powerhouse like the king at Least 5 seconds.

The king knew this so when he came 500m he paused for a spilt second.

Using the accumulated force he jumped high, arching his back as his golden spear glowed multiplying into two identical spears.

He was using an attached skill of the spear.

With his position in the air he accumulated enough force, so much force that his hands we're shacking.

Then he threw his spear.....

The force enough for him too forward flip.

At the same time they shot thier arrows.

With a huge explosion that shock even the walls of the city, the first spear was met by two arrows, the spear could not get past these arrows but seconds later this all like an illusion.

The arrows exploded after exhausting thief power which slowed down the spear overall speed and strength.

But it still had enough power to kill them.

And seeing that their first was a failure, they decided to use more power.

The both of them dragged thief bow string with vigor, thier red eyes becoming even more redder, as they activated thief own skill.

[Navenda arrow]

Their arrow that was only black in the middle and sliver in the tip suddenly become completely black.

The air around froze up hand black snow flex fell and without hesitation they released their arrows, while also shouting the name of their skill.

""Navenda frost arrow!!""

This was a very powerful skill that only the demon commander can own this skill , because of it power, it puts immense stress in both the mind and body, any level below the commander body level then they will only be reduced to pieces.

The two attacks flew towards the incoming golden spear and before anyone could count up to 3, all hell broke loose.

.....

A huge explosion took place that even the soldiers where able to fell the shockwave.

The spear was finally nullified.

The two demon archers looked very tired as they looked at the destruction thier previous attack has caused.

Huge hole, 100ft deep,350m in from the half of a circle to the other was formed.

Seeing that they was no more spears heading them so they sighed in relief.

The good thing was that remaining only 4sec for the warrior to wake up.

But it was at this 4sec that decided there vedic.

Just when they were catching thief breath, they heard the wind whistle and before they could react one of them was stabbed by something golden.

The force the spear used in penetrate his body was so strong that it drag him behind and before he new it the spear exploded and he was engulfed in hot golden flames, dyeing right then.

Nothing about him escaped the explosion.

The other archer looked behind him, where his comrade exploded in horror.

He heard wind howl behind him and he felt a stabbing pain before he fell to the ground headless, following his friend to the realm of souls.

The king stood where he killed the second and last archer.

Looked down only to see a blue panel that contains letters.

[You have killed demon commander archer 'huxi', you have earned the following stat point....]

[You have killed demon commander archer 'zizu', you have earned the following stat point....]

Looked at the content without much interest as the amount of power they gave him, was less than the power other creatures gave him.

This was what made the king confused as they should at the very least drop equipments, or skill books, maybe even soul cores, or. At least give the victor a strong energy but.... Nothing.

'At least its better than nothing' the King sighed inwardly as he looked at the remaining demons, who by now have already woken up.

They we're all looking at him with anger and aggression on there faces.

The king looked at them all with a cold expression and immediately prepare to fight his last opponents.

His was going to end it all in one attack.

Closing his eyes, channel his focus and activated an attached skill of his soul weapon, his spear.

a golden radiance immediately covered his spear, the color was so bright that the spear could not be seen, in its place was a golden spear made purely on energy.

The spear was very heavy, so much so that the ground beneath him was sunken in.

But the king withstood the pressure on his body that could be compare to that of 20+ mountain everest as he took aim at his enemy.

He raised his spear high and like how spartans throw thier spears.... He was ready to throw his in the same fashion.

At the same time the demons also channeled all thier energy on to their swords.

Crouching down slightly and with both thier hands on there swords.

The sword in thier hands was filled with so much energy that it was literally vibrating and thier hands was shacking uncontrollably.

Black energy was seeping out of their blades, in result result black lines we're forming in the Air.

Black blood dripped from there hands as they kept on adding dark mana to this attack.

this was thier final attack against this monster.

The area around them was vibrating and the world was shacking so much that even the soldiers who are far away we're beginning to feel worried..... Even before the attack was lunched, the effect it had on they whole world were surprising.

The others are still fighting,but they have managed to drag their fight far away from where the king was battling.

After 5 seconds of accumulating more power in which thier eyes where closed, the demons final opened this eye lids and pushed there weight up slashing a huge horizontal slash upward....

[Storm slash]

At the same time the king threw his spear towards the demons, exactly we're the attack was following forward to.

The spear flew like a rocket to met the huge incoming storm.

Booooooooooooooooooom

The two attacks meet at a mid point.

the force alone in which the attacks collided on each was enough for a huge explosion to occur making the sky bright and the earth to shake violently.

The two attacks we're in a stall mot, as the golden spear tried passing through the Black storm of slashes that was also pushing the was the spear back.

This obstruction only lasted for a few seconds before the spear did something surprising.

While pushing forward with so much power, it suddenly released a bright golden glow that blinded everybody except the king for a few seconds.

The next thing the demons saw after regaining their eye sight was a spear heading heading towards them with the speed of sound itself.

The demons we're exhausted and stun, that they could not completely react to the incoming bomb.

The demon representing this small group of ten who are acting as demon commanders, lourack, was the only one able to react.

Gritting his teeth hard while trying to withstand the blinding exhaustion, he stomping his feet forward, using that force to fly back words but even then he did not escape this attack completely.

And before he could even go far, the attack hit his exhausted teammates, exactly were he was standing before.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

a devastating times 2 atomic bomb, exploded when the spear hit the the ground.

The earth shook with furiously as shockwaves spread from all four directions.

Lourack was caught by the shockwave and because of that his waist was severed in two halves, his lower half disintegrating into nothingness,his hands destroyed but lucky for hum he activated his 'rare grade treasure' by breaking a red looking orb into pieces.

The pieces flew to glue together forming a orangish red wolf's mouth.

Because he was still mid-air, he flew through the portal automatically.

Instantly he was transported out of the danger zone of both the attack and the shockwave.

He was teleported near a rock and he was able to see the destruction that spear has caught, but what he saw made his red eyes to tremble.

The attack was still on as by the time he escaped it was only about 6 second so he was able to see what was happening.

A sun like dome was formed and within it constant whip of golden lighting struck at the surface of it.

The sight if this was quit beautiful but considering that ball has so much energy in it that if he we're to go 10m towards It then he will defiantly be burn to a crisp.

He managed to calm his heart a little bit, enough for him to see a figure holding his spear in in right hand approaching him in the distance.

He sighed as he looked at the king who was staring down at him with cold eyes.

The king caught him by his neck and raised up for him to look at him clearly.

"Any last words" the king said in a cold voice.

The demons waist is healing very fast so he wanted to end this.

"You know.... I never thought for a minute that we will win, not even for a second"lourack stared at the king before sighing, he wasn't holding him right enough to obstruct him in way so he was able to speak and even some expression on his face, at least to some extent.

"*sigh* I have a message for you..."

Lourack was about to say something when he sensed four different presence.... 5 to be precise.

The King also sensed it but he was very familiar with this four aura as there was his commanders, buy the last was a a slight difference for.

Because of this, he decided to take a look.

While looking behind his shoulder he saw his commanders standing straight like spears.

The we're all riddled with various degree of injures that a quit serious, with the most being Erick, and jack for both obvious reasons.

"let him go now" the king heard a female voice that being filled with anger and hatred, it was quit pleasant to the hearing.

The King looked at the new comer who was none other than Dora, the demon commander with whom jack had fought with.

" are you hearing or not, I said let him go" Dora yelled and if it wasn't because she was bind with a skill that restrict her movement, she would already pounced on the king by now.

She was also riddled with injuries but to her it was nothing as her body was automatically regenerating it.

But the king ignored her as his eyes went beyond her and he looked at the battlefield raging on at the south side of humbility city.

The battle has already come to an end with only a handful of demons remaining.

It was only a matter of time before the victory trumpet was sounded....

"please don't kill him, his the only one I have to call a family.... Please" dora said as her legs gave up on her and she fell while her head slop down.

The others were greatly surprised by this, even the king who had a cold expression from the beginning of this battle , showed a surprised glint for the first time.

"no, no, kill me, but please let her go" lourack said in a horse voice.

He knew he could not do anything even if his whole body healed up.... Not with the king's hand on his neck.

He also did not think that the king didn't know that he can regenerate his destroyed oesophagus hence he does not want to know how will kill.

Not to mention the 4 hawks watching him, ready to pounce on him if makes any wrong move.

Plus all that with dora that was held captive.

He had no doubt that he will die miserably if he tried to escape.

The King now had a thoughtful expression on his face, it only lasted for 8 seconds but he had made a decision.

At the end of the day, his intentions was never to kill her.

But him.....

"I will not kill her, nor am I going to kill you.... " the king said as his expression returned normal.

When the two demons heard him speak they felt..... Weird.

But most of all they were happy that he was not going to kill them.

"with that being said your, you are not going out of this easily" the king said with a smirk.

When laurack saw this smile, for some reason it gave him chills.

Then he suddenly remembered his message that he said he should deliver to the king personally.

"human king.... Like I said earlier I have a massage for you from...." lourack was hesitant to say the name.

"just spit it out!!" the king yelled as he felt a bad promotion.

"the message is from slaxar.... The demon god's last son"

""WHAT""

in the infinity world—

Two black figures stayed suspended in the air as they looked of into the distance.

What looks like a trillions of people gathering in one place could be seen 600kilo away from them.

"should we begin.... Your majesty" one of them suddenly spoke up

"let's a little" the other person spoke up.

The other person quickly kept quit for fear of this guy next to him.... He was an existence that he can not mess with.

The all just stop there watching how the trillion dots began to lit up with different colors that made everything look like a colorful rainbow with different colors.

This rain colors seem to be pushed forward, being crumpled in the middle of the in circle.

a golden halo could be seen even from the duo sight of view.

The golden halo seem to cover the energy in it's middle and it makes everything compress at ones.

This process went on for sometime now before the rainbow color suddenly started to become less brighter.

The brightness of the rainbow became more fainter and fainter until it stopped completely....
