"soldiers, this could be the final wave for this battle to end. Everyone never hold back at all, archers random fire if necessary, mages it is time to fight, prepare some AOE skills, and everyone prepare for wave four"

"Release" the king's voice spread for all to hear.

Immediately after his words fell, the tanks at front began rising thier shields alittle as the shield has dug the ground because of all those attacks from the demons, even if the demons they fought in past waves were weak compared to the human army..... Sometimes numbers can coverup alot when it comes wars and even in individual fights.

When they raised it above 4inchs from the cavity on the ground, they began to sperate, the formation seem to look like it has been split in halves a giant sword as the tanks began to make way, as if the king himself was coming forward.

What came into view when the heavy shield wielders split up was an army of what looks like soldiers with spears.

This soldiers did not even waste time as immediately the tanks opened up enough space for them to pass, they set out to intercept the army of demons in the distance.

But not just only them.... What

What followed next was an empty line as the hammer welders where suppose to be thier but because of the demons they activated skills to relive some of the tanks burdens.

But this line did not remain empty for long....

"Charge"

What appears to be more soldiers with swords at thier waist, golden cheat plates,and other golden assets, marched at full speed to follow behind the spare wielders.

At the city walls....

The archers we're looking straight ahead with serious expressions.

But the we're not the only ones thier.

Apart from the swordwraths that have not done anything yet and have been waiting in the back lines, there also the mages.

The mages were among them.

The mages, much different than the others that who wore golden battle wear and slightly golden leather battle-wear, the mages wore clothes coated with 'mana' and because of this, the clothes worn by mages changes color to better suit thier affinity or magic skills.

With a robe that seem to drag slightly to the ground, long sleeve robe, and with a magic staff or an empty hand, that was about what all the mages wore.

The mages stood behind archers A at thier right side and they waited patiently for the demons to come within range.

The army have already crossed 450meters between them with the tanks behind and the demons who where already close to 780meters distance between them and monoliga forest.

The Monoliga forest and humbility kingdom we're spareted by 50kilometers, and despite the meters being long, but for people or demons like them that amount of distance can be closed by a few minutes.

The army, upon arriving about 500meters between them and the tanks stopped on thier tracks and prepared thier weapons.

Sword wielders unsheathing thier swords, spare and shield wielders setting thier weapons in an attack-defend order, and hammer wielders holding thier weapon of choice with both hands and with it facing the right side of thier bodies.

The demons did not stop at all and despite thier maddened expressions, thier could not hide the strong intelligence they have.

After all there we're rank 4 tier 1 demons, demons that could fight on equal ground with the golden army, and could annihilate everone in a small village, and could turn that said village to dust.

The demons have crossed 940m from the monoliga forest and approximately 560m separating them and the human army.

Upon reaching 1kliometer that's about 500m distance between the demons and the human, the demon archers immediately shot thier arrows aimed at the humans at the distance.

Of course the king had anticipated that this archers range will also be bigger so he ordered the mages to intervene.

when the mages saw the arrows heading straight for the army on the ground the rised their staffs and closed their eyes as they supplied thier skill with mana, seconds later thier staffs glowed and the 1/3 of the total population of mages in this battle that decided to block this attack promptly open thier eyes as the name of thier skills was heard by those around them.

"Golden dome"

"Fire barrier"

"Ice barrier"

"Earth shield"

A slight multicolored dome covered the whole of the human army.

At that given moment the dark arrows that release dark mist as it passes by landed on the dome erected by the human mages.

Explosion after after explosion resounded in the vicinity as multiple attacks that are capable of turning a small military station into rubbles and dust landed on the dome.

The army that were protected by this shield did not shake even with the terrifying explosions and shockwave that we're constantly hitting the dome, they all maintained a calm expression as if nothing is happening behind this dome and as if there we're nothing in thier eyes.

The rank 4 could be considered a strong force as a medium grade village could fall into there hands, but still compared to the golden soldiers there still lacking.

Still if a golden soldier was not careful he could die in the hands of this rank 4, after all even if they can't kill a golden soldier singlehandedly they can still out number them. A very special trait of this demons.

The dome tremble slightly as the barrage of arrows finally died out.

With a wave of thier staffs the dome expanded and disappeared taking with it the natural poisonous dark gas that was released when the demons attacks exploded.

At that time the demons have at front of the army and the fight below the city's gate finally began.

When the demons reached within the spare wielders range they did not hesitate to attack.

A spare saw three demons heading towards him, and without thinking he detached from the formation to meet the demons.

The demon in the lead was the first to reach he held a sword. When the human reached close to him, he slashed forward with full force.

The golden Spare warrior seeing this immediately stabbed forward.

Clang

With the sound of metal and metal hitting each other the two separate with the demon 2m and the golden soldier 1m.

At that time the other two demons arrived both with a spare.

black sparks immediately formed as they stab forward aiming at the soldier.

But before he could even think of taking this opportunity a black horizontal slash heading towards him at the corner of his eye.

Turning around as fast as he could he set his spear in a in complete x and attack immediately hit his spear.

Srrrgggg

With a sound that feels like a chainsaw trying to cut through iron, the soldier pushed the attack forward and with more STR(strength) points added he redirected the attack upword.

Bom

With a small explosion black smoke covered 3m in the air for about 3 seconds before fading.

The soldier did not with at all and spinning around he activated another skill to deal with this trio who thought they could ambush him easily.

"Whirlwind"

Transparent air immediately swirl around him and before the demons that are already in mid swing with thier weapons pointing at the soldier could do anything the caught withing the wind turbulent and we're raised high.

Adding up with this skill he stopped turning around, stabbing the end of his spear into the ground he activated another skill.

[Wind blast]

The wind that have been turning around with the demons suddenly exploded and with it wind blades we're formed as the demons where shot 10 meters away from the soldier.

One of the demons died as he was of the weakest, and was cut multiple times on each part of his body as his head being the most that took the most damage. the reaming demons which were two, also has injuries of serious magnitude, but they seem to be turning thier heads in a circular motions as thier mind went blank but there regenerative ability still seem to be working.

The soldier seeing them in this state, ran at full speed before stabbing two times directly aiming at the demons head.

The demons head exploded into countless pieces and thier bodies fell lifeless to the ground as black blood flowed down thier headless corps that disappeared into black mist shortly after.

The spear Soldier puffed out the air he was holding in his lung.

Immediately then a blue panel appeared in line of vision.

His eyes we're alittle lost as he read what the panel said.

Suddenly he felt a rush of energy despite not being much, it was enough for his energy to restore to almost maximum.

Remembering that the battle was not even close to being over he forced himself out of the blissful feeling he felt as his power rose slightly.

Now with more focus than ever, he look around him, and he was not surprised to find out that everywhere was chaotic as everyone is fighting someone.

Looking above him into the distance his expression turned cold as he saw some blacked winged creatures that were holding a black orb in between thier bird like legs.

This creatures we're naturally the winged demons.

The spear soldier slowly stopped to look around him, and seeing one of the golden soldier fighting 5 demons at time, he immediately ran in that direction to support him.

Similar scenes we're happing all around the battlefield, with some soldiers being outnumbered almost being killed in the process, luckily there were some who finished their battles quickly and they followed the plan that they set on to do... Even with the winged demons dangerously close to thier battlefield, and even though they knew that if this thing drop does orb, it will surely not be a happy ending for them.

But naturally the archers and mages we're not there for nothing.

And indeed immediately the first set of the winged demons reach a range of 50m between them and the battle below, the archers released thier bow string in unison.....
