The Rich Second-Generation Villain With No Morals

Chapter 59

Chapter 59: Ah! Wang Cheng, Why Are You Lying on the Ground?:

It was Sunday, and Wang Dongcheng finally had a day off.

His son had gone out early in the morning for his part-time job.

His daughter, who usually loved going out, was staying home and studying for once.

As for himself, he was lying in bed, enjoying a peaceful sleep to make up for the exhaustion from his high-intensity work.

What Wang Dongcheng didn’t know was that it wasn’t that Wang Siling didn’t want to go out.

She was simply too afraid of Qi Lin. Every time she stepped out, it gave Qi Lin an opportunity to bully her.

Staying at home with so many people around, she hoped that Qi Lin would restrain himself.

“Ring, ring, ring~”

Just as Wang Dongcheng was sleeping soundly, the phone next to his pillow started ringing.

“Who’s calling so early in the morning?”

He answered the call impatiently.

“You’re Wang Cheng’s father, right? Your son deliberately caused trouble in my restaurant, making me lose 5,000 yuan. You’d better come over and deal with this.”

Whoosh!

Hearing this bad news, Wang Dongcheng was instantly wide awake and shot up from bed.

“Y-You must be mistaken about my son! He’s an honest kid. He wouldn’t do something like that.”

He stammered as he spoke.

“Just tell me if you’re coming or not. If you don’t come, I’ll call the police.”

Xia Sha spoke impatiently.

Since she was able to get through to his phone, it was unlikely that this was some kind of scam.

“Please don’t call the police. I-I’ll be right there.”

Wang Dongcheng had no choice but to agree.

“Damn it, these two siblings never let me have a moment of peace.”

He gritted his teeth and cursed under his breath before getting up to leave.

“Dad, aren’t you going to rest? Where are you going?”

Hearing the commotion outside, Wang Siling walked out of her room with a puzzled expression.

Glancing at her, Wang Dongcheng frowned. “Your brother is in trouble. Stop doing your homework and come with me.”

Wang Siling: “…”

But someone else had arrived at Jianghan Restaurant even before Wang Dongcheng.

Xia Sha had called Lan Yuxi and asked her to come over.

“Ah? Wang Cheng, why are you lying on the ground?”

On the phone, Xia Sha hadn’t explained the details.

When Lan Yuxi arrived at the restaurant and saw Wang Cheng tied up on the floor, she was shocked.

The moment Wang Cheng saw Lan Yuxi, it was as if he had spotted his savior.

He wriggled like a caterpillar, struggling as he desperately called out, “Yuxi, quickly explain to your aunt! I’m not a pervert! I didn’t offend any customers in her restaurant! She must have misunderstood me!”

Hearing words like “pervert” and “offending customers” from a tied-up Wang Cheng left Lan Yuxi completely confused.

She turned to her aunt, Xia Sha. “Auntie, what exactly happened? Wang Cheng is my classmate. No matter what he did, you can’t just tie him up like this.”

If Lan Yuxi hadn’t mentioned that Wang Cheng was her classmate, it wouldn’t have been so bad. But once she did, Xia Sha’s anger flared up again.

“Yuxi, just look at the kind of friends you’re making! You introduced him to help at my restaurant, and I agreed. But do you know what he just did?”

Xia Sha recounted everything that had happened and even called over a few customers who had been in the restaurant earlier.

Fortunately, their office building was right next door, and they were willing to do Xia Sha a favor by coming down to testify against Wang Cheng.

Lan Yuxi was completely dumbfounded after hearing everything.

She hadn’t expected that Wang Cheng had not only harassed her aunt’s employees but also stolen food from customers and, worst of all, spit chewing gum into a customer’s snow fungus soup.

“Ugh~”

Hearing about such disgusting behavior made Lan Yuxi feel sick.

“Wang Cheng, did you really do all these things?”

She looked at him in disbelief.

Wang Cheng was at a loss for words, tears streaming down his face as he pleaded, “Yuxi, you have to believe me! You know my character—I would never do something so shameless!”

If this had been a week ago, Lan Yuxi would have believed him unconditionally.

But the problem was, just two days ago, Wang Cheng had personally admitted that he had befriended Qi Lin just to take advantage of him and treat him like a fool.

That had shown her a much darker side of Wang Cheng.

Now, she wasn’t so sure if he was telling the truth.

Especially since he had even harassed her aunt’s employee by grabbing her hand—that was something Lan Yuxi found completely unacceptable.

But before she could ask more questions, Wang Cheng’s father arrived.

“You little brat! You think you can do whatever you want? You think your dad owns a money-printing factory? 5,000 yuan! That’s several months of my salary!”

The moment he heard about the compensation, Wang Dongcheng didn’t even bother asking for explanations. He immediately rushed forward and kicked Wang Cheng a few times.

And he didn’t hold back—the kicks landed directly on Wang Cheng’s stomach, turning his face ashen from the pain.

Seeing this, Qi Lin shook his head and clicked his tongue in amusement.

“No wonder Wang Cheng turned out so twisted. He was probably beaten like this since he was a kid.”

Qi Lin’s parents had spoiled him, sure, but even in his past life, he had only been a lazy slacker, avoiding work and responsibilities. He had never harbored any malicious intent.

On the other hand, Wang Cheng, who always appeared humble and well-mannered, had no problem betraying his own sworn brother.
