The Returner Goes to the Academy

(Hi, Wataru lives in Shibuya, which I forgot to mention.)

*Friday, May 5, 2019*

12:25:00 p.m.

Wataru Yoshida: "Okay, I'm done looking for Yuna at school. Now I'm going to investigate Matias" (the neighbor across the street).

The demon: "You're not going to school, are you?"

Wataru Yoshida: "No, I'm not going."

Wataru Yoshida: "Activate."

12:50:27 p.m.

The demon: "Human, being in a tree will make him see you."

Wataru Yoshida: "My neighbor is old. He won't be able to see me, no matter how well he hears. He won't see me."

Neighbor (Matias): Hey, Wataru, what are you doing up in that tree?

Wataru, falling, would say: I was looking to see if there was any fruit, to ask you if I could take it.

Neighbor (Matias): Oh, but that tree looks like it doesn't have any fruit from here.

Wataru Yoshida: Really? Oh, sorry, Matias, my vision is blurry. Maybe I need glasses.

Neighbor (Matias): That's most likely, kid. Here.

Matias would give Wataru a piece of paper that says, "Dr. Tadashi Hattori, eye doctor. 100% sure you'll get your sight back."

Neighbor (Matias): He's a very good eye doctor. He helped me with my remaining eye. I couldn't see well before, but after going there, my vision improved. 

Wataru Yoshida: Okay, thanks, Matias.

Neighbor (Matias): You're welcome.

Wataru Yoshida: Okay, I'm leaving.

In the distance, a neighbor saw this and sent a message to the neighborhood group warning them to be careful because Wataru was doing strange things again.

5:30 p.m.

Wataru Yoshida: "Damn it, he found me three times."

The demon: "Of course, you idiot. Hiding in a tree, following him into an alley, and barging into his house like nothing happened. It's obvious he'd notice."

Wataru Yoshida: "Well, if it doesn't work the first time, it will the second time."

The demon: "What are you going to do?"

Wataru Yoshida: "What power do I have, you idiot?"

The demon: "Oh, so you're back."

Wataru Yoshida: "What, do you remember what happened?"

The demon: "It seems so."

Wataru Yoshida: "Well, it must be because you're in my body."

The demon: "Yes, I can even get into your mind."

Wataru Yoshida: "Wait, what?"

The demon in Wataru's mind: There's almost nothing strange here, except for that door and those chains. I'll try to open them. Maybe something interesting will happen...

The demon would use magic to remove the chains, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't.

The demon: "Hmm, that's strange. It should have opened. So whatever is in there is stronger than my mind. Ha, that's impossible. Demons have the best minds in the imaginary world."

Wataru Yoshida: "What the hell did you do there, you fucking demon?"

The demon: "Obviously, I tried to control you."

Wataru Yoshida: "You tried to control me? Ha, if you couldn't do it before, you certainly won't be able to do it now."

The demon: "Yes, yes, whatever you say, human."

Wataru Yoshida: "Well, I won't fall for your games anymore, and I'm leaving."

5:50 p.m.

Wataru Yoshida: "Well, I managed to get into his house and there was a metal door, it looked like an elevator."

The demon: "That's true, but the bad thing is that he spotted you right away."

Wataru Yoshida: "I find it strange that he always spots me, even though my hiding places are probably bad."

The demon: "This time they weren't so bad. You spent money on a telescope and looked, but suddenly he saw you. Then you tried to get in by saying you could drink some water, but he stopped you right away."

Wataru Yoshida: "At least I found out that on Sunday he goes to a place that's quite far from here."

The demon: "Where does he go?"

Wataru Yoshida: "He's going with his family, he said that."

The demon: "And what will you do tomorrow?"

Wataru Yoshida: "I'll go buy some knives so I can at least defend myself."

The demon: "Do you even know how to use them?"

Wataru Yoshida: "..."

The demon: "I'm disappointed I entered this body."

*Sunday, 12th of 2019*

4:30 p.m.

Wataru Yoshida: "Okay, the man is gone. It's time to go in."

In the distance, a neighbor would see this and send a message that a boy had broken into a house, and take a photo of the house.

Wataru Yoshida: "Activate."

Wataru Yoshida: "Okay, now that there's nothing here, I can see what this man is hiding."

Wataru would accidentally activate a switch, causing a saw to come out of the wall and cut off Wataru's head.

4:35 p.m.

The demon: "You didn't last long, human, in that old man's house."

Wataru Yoshida: "What do you want me to do? I couldn't detect the traps."

The demon: "What will you do now?"

Wataru Yoshida: "I'll activate all the traps I can and make it to the elevator."

Wataru dodged the first trap, but without realizing it, he activated another one and more saws began to fall. Wataru dodged them, but he didn't notice that arrows were appearing from the walls and piercing his back. 

Wataru Yoshida: "Damn it!"

4:45:30 p.m.

Wataru Yoshida: "Okay, I did it, in 20 attempts. The arrows were the hardest thing to dodge."

The demon: "Those arrows are hard to dodge. It would be difficult for me, but I would get through it anyway."

Wataru Yoshida: "Look, there's the elevator."

Elsewhere

Kenji Watanabe-Why the hell are you doing this, Matías? Don't all these years of friendship mean anything to you...

In one swift movement, Matías cuts off Kenji's head.

The neighbor (Matías): Well, do you think they'll let me see my granddaughter after doing that mission?

???-Most likely, you know, the guy from the other day seemed strange to me.

The neighbor (Matías)-Really, why????-He suddenly started looking at your house, as if he was going to do something.

The neighbor (Matías)-Maybe, but if that's the case, he won't be able to do anything because of the traps, and if it does happen, I won't hesitate to kill him.

???-Well, let's go back...

Back to Wataru

The demon: "There are three floors. Go to the second one."

Wataru Yoshida: "Yeah, I was going to do that, stupid."

Wataru would press the button to make the elevator go down

When the elevator opened, Wataru would see a laboratory with many potions of all kinds, but some of them would have a peculiar smell. Looking at one of the potions, he would notice that it was blood. On the wall would be a photo of a girl with black pigtails wearing a green dress.

Wataru would wonder who she was without finding a clear answer, and without noticing anything else but the blood, he would go down to the third floor.

The demon: "Hey, human, you're lucky this has a hatch and leads outside."

Wataru Yoshida: "Yes, you're right, but it's better this way so we can do it faster."

Upon reaching the third floor, Wataru would enter and see several photos of people marked with an X on the wall, and among all those people would be his sister.

Wataru Yoshida: "Why the hell do you want to kill my sister!"
