Nagae Estate – Riku's Room – June 5, 2021
Saturday – 7:30 A.M.
Riku POV
Two days passed since that happened last Friday, and some things have changed. The major reason is that Chisato has been more open about what she feels for me, and she now calls me "onii-sama" freely and isn't afraid of saying it.
I questioned her if this was acceptable, but Chisato stated that the fans approve of our sibling relationship as they were able to see the true Chisato whenever she's with me. And to top it off, the fans prefer to see Chisato as the younger sister rather than the mature version of her.
With that, Kokoro and Chisato developed a friendly rivalry to see who was the best younger sister for me. They know Mafuyu is my true sister, so they'll have to settle for second place. I asked Mafuyu whether she was okay with it, and she just told me to let them be as long as they didn't go overboard.
And in regards to the letter I got from Udongein a few days ago....

Hanasakigawa Girls High School – Principal's Office
June 3, 2021 – Thursday – 12:30 P.M.
I'm in Yuyuko-san's office because she invited me to have lunch with only her and Youmu. After we finished eating and Youmu finished bringing us tea, Yuyuko-san began to talk about what happened earlier in the morning.
Yuyuko: I heard everything from Youmu. Chisato-chan seemed to come out of her shell.
Riku: Yeah, and to be honest. I'm kinda uncomfortable to it.....but I'll get used to it soon.
Yuyuko: Well, this can be considered a good thing you know?
Riku: A good thing?
Youmu: You may not know this Riku-kun, but ever since Chisato-san enrolled here in Hanasakigawa, she has always seemed to be on guard against practically anything and maintains an aura of professionalism even outside of work. Trust me, I was her first-year classmate. So I know.
Yuyuko: But that all changed when she joined Pastel*Palettes. She became open to others and she can be herself just a little bit. But with what happened last night-
Riku: It felt like a huge weight was taken off of her. Didn't know that Chisato has that huge amount of pressure.
Yuyuko: Now that she has no reason to hide her relationship with you anymore, she can be free to a certain extent.
Riku: Then I'm glad. Hopefully her rivalry with Kokoro won't go-
*Knock* * Knock*
We turned around s we heard someone knocked on the door. Yuyuko-san called that they can enter, the door opened and it was Mafuyu.
Mafuyu: Can I come in?
Yuyuko: Of course dear~ Come in~
Riku: And you can turn to your usual self Mafuyu.
Mafuyu nodded and the atmosphere around her changed drastically. Her usual bright expression turned into a dark and emotionless persona. I know from the start that the expression she shows usually with other people is fake.....and out of the girls....only Kaoru, Kokoro, Misaki and Chisato can see through her facade.
Ever since grandfather told me of what happened to Mafuyu to why she's like this.....I wished that her so called "mother" was still alive so I can give her a piece of my mind. But that will never happen because the bitch is already dead.
Kanade and the other members of 25-ji tired their best to get her emotions back but they've made little progress even with Miku helping them. That was before they get acquainted with us. By letting her experience new things, we can get her emotions back and turn her back into the Mafuyu that she's really meant to be. I know that it'll take a lot of time, but I will make sure that my sister gets the life that she deserves.
Yuyuko: What brings you here Mafuyu-chan?
Mafuyu: I was looking for nii-san and I want to ask something.
Mafuyu asked me in the most blunt and flat tone possible.
Riku: What do you want to ask?
Mafuyu: Well, Kanade and the others are planning to hang out with me during the weekend. And if it's alright with you, can we use the music studio?
Riku: The music studio?
Mafuyu: Nazuna told me that you own the studio, and she told me that I should ask for your permission to use it.
Riku: Ah ok.....sure. I mean, I've been only using it from time to time. You want to use it cause you're planning to make a new song right?
Mafuyu only nodded as I smiled at her and gave her a headpat. I know that she can't express her feelings for it....but I can tell that she's enjoying it.
Riku: Then you can use it. Just make sure you don't break anything okay? And make sure Nazuna is with you.
Mafuyu: I will, thank you for accepting my request. By the way nii-san, the letter that you got. What're you gonna do with it?
I took out the envelope that Udongein gave me, and I haven't opened it since I got it. Might as well open it. As I open the envelope, I took the letter out and it says...
I want something to discuss with you. I think it's time to clear it up after all these years.
I'll be waiting for you at the Eientei by the weekend.
You can take anyone with you to have some company or you can go alone if you like, I don't mind.

Riku: That's what it says.
Yuyuko: So Kaguya-chan finally decided to clear things up. I think it's a good idea to go there Riku-kun. The two of you haven't seen each other for 3 years.
Mafuyu: Did something happened between the two of you, nii-san?
Riku: It's....personal. But yes, might as well go. I mean, I'm free for the entire weekend.
Yuyuko: As for who'll accompany you, do you have someone in mind?
Riku: .....I have an idea.

After school ended, I sent a message to all of the girls to see who can come with me to Fukushima to go to the Eientei at the weekends. And the replies that I got from them are these.....
Kasumi: Sorry senpai, but A-chan got a cold. I want to come with you, but mom had some plans this weekend as well. So I won't be able to leave the house.
Tae: I want to go but no one is at my home taking care of the rabbits at the weekend. Thanks for inviting me by the way.
Rimi: Onee-chan is coming over, so I won't be able to come.
Saaya: My mother needs my help at the bakery at the weekend.
Arisa: My grandmother has some plans with her friends and no one is looking out on the shop. So I won't be able to come.
Ran: I want to go since I haven't seen Kaguya-san for a long while, but me and my band has some plans already. Send my regards to her.
After reading Ran's message, I got the same message from Tomoe, Moca, Himari and Tsugumi.
Aya: I won't be able to come Riku-kun. I have some offers given to me from the agency and I'm to do it by the weekends. Sorry.
Hina: I have some plans with onee-chan this weekend, but thanks for inviting me!
So Hina and Sayo are out.
Chisato: As much as I want to come with you onii-sama, me and Kaoru have made some plans for the weekend.
So Chisato has some plans with Kaoru. Odd, those two are like water and oil at their current status...
Maya: Sorry Riku-san, but Eve-san invited me to come to a samurai convention in the weekends.
Eve and Maya are off the table as well.
Kokoro: I have a project working on at the weekend so I won't be able to come. Tell Kaguya-chan I said hi!
Hagumi: Sorry Rikkun! But I gotta coach some kids at a baseball game during the weekend!
Kanon: Sorry Riku-kun. But I may get lost just by making my way to your place...
Misaki: I wanted to but....Kokoro kinda dragged me to what she's planning. But don't worry, I'll keep an eye on her while you're gone.
I'm starting to get worried for what Kokoro's project is.....guess I have to give Misaki something for the trouble once I get back.
Yukina: Sorry, but Lisa wants me to be her taste tester on her cookies during the weekends.
Lisa: Sorry Riku-kun, but I was planning on making a new recipe on my cookies this weekend. I'll send you some once you get back. Just give me a call.
Sayo: I appreciate the offer. But Hina invited me to a place where we can get unlimited fries and I can't miss that opportunity.
Rinko: Sure I can go. I mean the others have other plans and I have a lot of time.
Ako: I'll go!! If Rin-Rin's with you then I'm coming too! I just need to ask onee-chan if it's okay to come!
Rei: Thank you for inviting me but I have my hands full. I have to stand-in for someone during the weekend. Don't worry, Chu² approved of this.
Masuki: Sorry, I had to help the ramen shop during the weekends.
Rokka: I apologize Riku-san, but the bath house will be busy at the weekend.
Chiyu: I'll go. I get the feeling that I'll be needed there at Eientei. And it's been a long while since I've seen Kaguya.
Reona: I'll go! If Chu²-sama is coming, then so am I!
So all in all, the ones who said yes are just Rinko, Ako-chan, Chu² and Reona.
I got my stuff ready as I got a call from Aizawa that my car is ready in the garage.
I made my way to the living room and the 4 girls who accepted my invite are already here.
Riku: I didn't expect that you girls to be here early. Normally I would've drove to your homes to pick you up.
Chiyu: I know that you were planning that. But I told these three to come here to save you the time.
Riku: Since you girls came here early, that means that you haven't eaten breakfast yet right?
The four girls nodded and they followed me to the dining room as we eat our breakfast.
After we finished eating our breakfast, we headed to the garage and I see my BMW is already parked and ready. Props to Aizawa-san for getting it ready.
We got our bags in the back of the car, get inside and I drove our way to the Eientei located in Fukushima.
Timeskip....
Meanwhile on the road...
8:30 A.M.
We've been traveling for an hour and we still have a long way from our destination, since the estimated travel time from Tokyo to Fukushima by car is at least three hours. Good thing we left early because traffic in the city would have been bothersome if we had gone later.
Rinko and the other girls were staring out the window while I drove, and she asked me where the Eientei was.
Rinko: Riku, where is the Eientei located anyway?
Riku: That's right, you may have met Kaguya in the past but you haven't been in the Eientei yet. Well, the Eientei is at the Fukushima prefecture, one of the Houraisan's territories.
Ako: The Houraisan owns Fukushima?
Riku: Not just Fukushima Ako-chan, the Houraisan and Yagokoro has the Tohoku region as their territory. The Houraisan's territories are Fukushima, Yamagata and Akita prefecture. The Yagokoro's territories are Miyagi, Iwate and Aomori prefecture.
The three girls aside from Chu² were surprised from the information that they got.
Rinko: What about the Nagae? Kyoya-san did tell that Tokyo is the Nagae's territory.
Riku: Not just the Nagae, the Saigyouji shares the rule of Tokyo with us. As for the other territories, the Nagae has Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama prefecture. While the Saigyouji has Gunma, Tochiki and Ibaraki prefectures.
Reona: So the Nagae and Saigyouji families own the Kanto region, Riku-sama?
Riku: Grandfather told you this when we returned from Stockholm, right? Following the end of the Sengoku era, the reigning emperor granted the Celestial Families the ability to pick their region. However, the emperor chose to grant the Nagae and Saigyouji the Kanto area as their territory. The remaining families must make their own decisions.
Ako: What did the other families picked Riku-nii?
Riku: The Hakurei, Yakumo and Hijiri moved to Kansai, the Komeiji went to Chugoku. The Ibaraki picked Kyushu, the Kicchou moved their way to Hokkaido, the Matara picked Shikoku, and the Hinanawi picked Chubu.
Rinko: Now I understand why you're so busy these days.
Chiyu: And I'm surprised that you're combining your duties as a Nagae while you were still active back then.
Riku: Yeah...get some rest for a while, it'll be a little long till we reach Eientei.
Rinko, Ako-chan and Reona followed what I said as they took their rest, and after a few minutes they fell asleep while Chu² is the only one awake keeping me company.
Riku: You should rest too.
Chiyu: Don't need it. Tell me Iku, what does Kaguya want from you?
Riku: I can tell that she wants some answers from me in regards to Tenshi. And I feel that she's planning something else.
Chu² scratched her head as she knew what I meant.
Chiyu: Knowing her, I'm not surprised.
Riku: Yeah...hold on for a moment.
I turned my eyes and I saw a bakery very close to us, I turned right and head to the bakery's parking lot without waking the three girls.
Chiyu: Oi Iku, what the hell?
Riku: Kaguya told me to bring something for her. And take a look at the bakery sign.
Chu² looked up and she understood immediately.
Chiyu: Ah...I'll buy some for myself as well if you don't mind.
Riku: And leave Rinko and the others inside the car all defenseless?
Chiyu: Right.....I forgot. If there's any Jerky Bread then get some for me okay?
Riku: At this bakery.....yeah, there should be some. Be back in a few okay?
Chu² gave me a salute as she stayed in the car and I head inside the bakery as I bought some bread for the girls and for Kaguya as well.
Several Hours Later.....
Eientei – 11:20 A.M.
After buying some bread and Jerky bread for Chu², we resumed our trip. I picked up the speed a little bit to make sure they don't wake up from the sudden increase in speed. After a few hours, we've made it to Fukishima and we're at the entrance of the Eientei.
As we reached the gate, one of the guards came to us and starts inspecting us.
Guard: What's your business here in the Eientei?
Riku: We're here because Kaguya invited us. Here's the letter that I got from her when Udongein gave it to me a few days ago.
I showed the guard the letter that Udongein gave me, because the letter has the official seal of the Houraisan Family. The guard took a look at the emblem and he nodded in approval.
Guard: Very well, you may enter the estate. May you have a good day, Nagae-sama and company.
I nodded to the guard as the gates opened and I continue to drive to the estate.
After driving for 5 minutes, we've reached the Eientei. I stopped by at the parking area, and after I parked the car, me and Chu² woke up the other three who were still asleep.
Riku: Rinko, Ako-chan. We're here.
Chiyu: PAREO, get up. We've arrived.
The girls are rubbing their eyes as they start to wake up.
Rinko: We're here?
Riku: Yup. Now get yourselves ready, we still have to walk-
Moon Rabbit: Welcome to Eientei Riku-sama!!
We turned around and we see a little girl wearing a red one piece dress with rabbit ears which surprised the girls excluding Chu².
Riku: I take it that you're here to escort us?
Moon Rabbit: Hai! If you please follow me.
The rabbit turned around as I bring out our bags out of the car.
Rinko: Riku...was that a....
Riku: Yes, that was a moon rabbit.
Ako: They're rabbits that came from the moon!?
Riku: Yes, they are. Kaguya's father assigned them to assist her while she stays on earth. They change from season to season, so expect to see changing colors of moon rabbits as summer passes. Now, let us not waste time.
Me and the girls picked up our stuff as we follow the moon rabbit to the front door.
As we head towards the mansion, I looked in every direction in case of a certain rabbit tried to screw us over. But I can't sense her. So I asked the rabbits if they know something.
Riku: I want to ask, where is Tewi? Normally she would be the first to arrive whenever I come here, but I can't seem to sense her.
Moon Rabbit: Well, Tewi-sama is currently being punished.
Riku: Punished? What did she do this time?
Moon Rabbit: She was planning to prank Udongein as she was trying to deliver the letter that Kaguya-sama made but.....instead of her....Eirin-sama was the one who got caught.....
The Moon Rabbit told me that Tewi dug a pithole that is at least 15 feet deep and she was expecting Udongein to fall for it, but instead, Eirin-san was the one who fell for the trap. And before Tewi could run for her life, she was caught by Eirin-san and dragged to the punishment room.
Riku: So.....what happened after that?
Moon Rabbit: Well, after getting Eirin-sama out of the pit that Tewi-sama made, she was punished gravely.....by becoming Eirin-sama's test subject for next month. But for now, Tewi-sama is being isolated for the remainder of the month and she's constantly being monitored.
Riku: I....I see...
As we approached the main home, we noticed a big Japanese-themed mansion with just two storeys. It's not very costly, yet it has an antique atmosphere. As we walked through the hallways, Ako-chan and the other girls (except Chu²) were looking around.
Ako: So this is the Eientei.....
Moon Rabbit: This mansion may not meet your expectations, yet it has been standing since the Houraisan Family landed on Earth. Despite a few renovations over the years, we have maintained the authentic feel of the place. And it's all due to Kaguya-sama's abilities.
Reona: Ability?
Riku: Kaguya's ability allows her to manipulate eternity. To put it simply, she has the ability to keep things from aging. Take a fruit for example; fruits will likely spoil in a few days, but with Kaguya's ability, the fruit would keep its freshness even if left for weeks.
Rinko: What about if she used it on humans?
Riku: That is something that Kaguya herself has to say. And it's a very sensitive topic.
Moon Rabbit: Indeed. Kaguya-sama doesn't want to discuss that topic so we tend to avoid talking about it. Now look alive, we're almost-
*THUD*
And before the rabbit finished speaking, we heard a loud thump and saw Udongein on the floor, slowly crawling away from something or someone. And I saw that she is paler than usual...oh no.....
Udongein: H-Help....me...
As Udongein was weakly begging for help, a huge metal ring grabbed Udongein by the waist, basically cuffing her.
Eirin: Ara~ we're not done yet Udongein, we still have much to work on. I'm at the point of a discovery, and I can't let it go to waste.
Eirin-san showed up with a chain on her hand and we can see that it was linked to the cuff that Udongein was in as she was pulling the chain with a small smile.
Rinko quickly hid behind me, Ako-chan and Reona are shaking a little bit and Chu² was unfazed, but I noticed that there were some sweat coming from her head.
Udongein: Please sensei.....give me some time to rest.....my body won't be able to.....hold...
Eirin: Don't worry, I'll make some medicine for that problem.
Udongein: That makes it more worse!!
Udongein and Eirin-san noticed that we're here, and Udongein began to beg me to help her.
Udongein: RIKU!!!! PLEASE!! YOU GOTTA HELP ME!! SENSEI IS CRAZY!! SHE'S BEEN TREATING ME LIKE A GUINEA PIG FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS!!! I UGH-
Eirin-san yanked the chain to shut the rabbit up, and she made her way to me. Rinko and the others were hiding behind me as they were shaking in fear as thy saw what happened.
Eirin: So you've come Riku. I'm glad that you came here. I take it that you're here to talk with Kaguya-sama?
I only nodded and Eirin-san smiled as she turned right as one rabbit was just walking through the hallway.
Eirin: You. Take Riku to the Lunar Garden. And you, take the girls to their rooms.
Moon Rabbits: HAI! EIRIN-SAMA!!
Moon Rabbit 1: Come with me, I'll take you to where Kaguya-sama is.
Moon Rabbit 2: Follow me as I take you to your rooms.
Udongein: R-RIKU!?
Udongein was still waiting for me to help her. I wanted to but.....if I wind up becoming another guinea pig for Eirin-san's medicine....I looked at Udongein and offered her words of encouragement.
Riku: Udongein...faito dayo.
Udongein's expression paled as Eirin-san yanked the chain as she dragged Udongein back to the lab. And we can only hear is Udongein's scream for help.
Udongein: DAREKA TASUKETEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As Udongein was screaming, she was dragged by Eirin-san and the door closed shut which scared the girls behind me. Chu² was tugging my shirt tight as I can tell that she's scared as well.
Reona: R-Riku-sama...what just happened?
Riku: Let's just say.....this is just a normal occurrence here at the Eientei.
Ako: But why is Eirin-sensei here?
Riku: We'll discuss this along the way. Shall we?
I asked the two moon rabbits, who merely nodded and led us to where we were supposed to go. I can still hear Udongein's cry behind the door, but I decided to ignore it and move on.....stay strong, Udongein....
11:45 A.M.
3rd POV
As Riku and the girls follow the moon rabbits, Riku continued where they left off.
Ako: Riku-nii, about Eirin-sensei being here.
Riku: Right, much like us Nagae, the Yagokoro are a vassal family serving the Houraisan. Despite their rise to the Celestial Families, they keep their loyalty to the Houraisan. Unlike us Nagae, who chose to be independent of the Hinanawi.
Rinko: But you still keep a very healthy relationship with them...even though after all of that happened.
Riku: Yeah...we're at a crossroads girls.
Riku and the girls stopped walking and they see two paths separating left and right.
Moon Rabbit 2: The path on the left will take you to the garden and the one on the right will take you to your rooms.
Moon Rabbit 1: This is where you will separate for the moment.
Riku: This is where we separate for now. I have some business with Kaguya, you girls go ahead.
Chiyu: Don't worry, with me here everything will be okay.
Riku: Very well. Just be careful of Tewi.
Chiyu: No need to remind me. Let's go.
Chiyu told the other rabbit to go their room as the rabbit that was with Riku took him to where Kaguya is. And a few minutes later, they've reached the Lunar garden.
Moon Rabbit: We're here. This is as far as I can take you Riku-sama.
Riku: I understand. You may leave.
The moon rabbit nodded and let the garden as Riku saw Kaguya is sitting at the garden bench. Riku took a deep breath, and walked towards her.
As Riku finally reached Kaguya, the girl looked at Riku with a surprised face, then it turned into a smile.
Kaguya: It's been a while, hasn't it?
Riku: Yeah...we've got a lot to talk about.
Kaguya: True. But first, let's have lunch. I can tell that you just arrived and I can tell that you're hungry.
Riku: Thank you for the offer.
A few hours later....
Kaguya's Room - 1:30 P.M.
True to her promise, Kaguya asked Riku and the girls to lunch. When they gathered in the dining area, Kaguya hugged Rinko because they hadn't seen each other in years, and the same went for Chu². Ako and Reona presented themselves to Kaguya, and the Lunarian princess simply stared at Ako while she spoke.
Rinko and Ako were surprised to learn that Kaguya, also known as Tsukuyomi, was a well-known NFO player. After that, they had lunch, and Kaguya gave them a tour of Eientei once they finished.
After the tour, the girls were free to do anything they wanted, so Ako pulled Rinko to the game room, while Reona and Chu² headed to the music room because Kaguya mentioned that she plays bass and sings well in her spare time.
That leaves Riku and Kaguya, who are both in Kaguya's room, which is jam-packed with games. Her room even has two arcade machines that play classic 80s games. Kaguya's room has every game you can imagine.
Riku: Last time I saw your room, you had a few games here and there but.....you've been busy....
Kaguya: Yeah....I need some distraction you know.
Riku: I see.
Kaguya: Riku....how? How did Tenshi appeared that time?
Riku: This is gonna take a while.
Kaguya: We've got time.
Riku: Okay....here's what happened.
One Explanation Later.....
After Riku told Kaguya everything, she was just looking at her cup as she takes in all the information that she got from Riku. After a few moments, she took a deep breath and looked at Riku.
Kaguya: So all this time.....Tenshi's alive?
Riku: Technically she is still considered dead. Well we can consider her alive as well since her soul is still intact.
Kaguya: And you have no idea that she's with you this whole time?
Riku: I only found out when I was at Stockholm remember?
Kaguya: Right I forgot.....wait. You said that she saw everything for the past years.....don't tell me that-
Riku: She did....she saw what you did...but she didn't get to see what happens after that because she was still weak.
Kaguya looked down and sighed.
Kaguya: So.....what she has to say about it?
Riku: Well she says...
Flashback
Tenshi and Riku were catching up to all what's happened throughout the years, and Tenshi picked up a topic that affected her and Riku.
Tenshi: So, how's Kaguya doin'?
Riku: Ever since you died, she hasn't stepped out of Eientei. I know that she didn't mean to do it....I guess she took it at heart.
Tenshi: I see, she must've been disheartened that much with me no longer alive...I have an idea, and I need your help.
Riku moved a bit farther from Tenshi. Knowing that Tenshi has something in mind, it will either be the best thing she'll ever do or the worst thing she'll ever do. And most of the time, it leans to the latter.
Riku: Whatever you think of, I am very concerned. But if it's for Kaguya's sake, then I'll put up with it.
Tenshi: Good. Here's what you need to do.
Tenshi began to tell her plan to Riku and he was surprised and showed a smile.
Riku: Yeah...that could work. If it's Kaguya, she will definitely do it.
End of Flashback
Riku: I have to do this.
Riku stood up and went to Kaguya. And without warning, he gave Kaguya a heavy chop to the head.
*CHOP*
Kaguya: What the hell is that for?!
Kaguya was rubbing her head in pain as she shouted at Riku, but he didn't give a damn.
Riku: Two reasons. First is Tenshi asked me to do it. The second is.....I challenge you to a danmaku battle. A one spell danmaku battle.
Kaguya: !!!
Kaguya was surprised that Riku challenged Kaguya to a danmaku battle. Normally, they would challenge Riku but in this case, Riku was the one who issued the challenge. Which is a first.
Kaguya: You...challenge me to a danmaku battle? But why?
Riku: I know you still have some pent-up emotions inside you, and I want you to let them out. I know you've been having danmaku battles with Mokou or the other Lunarians, but I can tell you'll feel better with me.
Kaguya: You said it's one spell right?
Riku: I did. You want to add some conditions?
Kaguya: I'll tell you once we start. How about you call your friends while I call Eirin.
Riku: Sounds good.
Kaguya: We'll meet at the half-moon court.
Riku nodded and both of them left the room as Riku finds Rinko, Chiyu and Ako. While Kaguya goes to Eirin.
Riku POV
After Kaguya and I broke off, I asked one of the moon rabbits where Chu² and Reona are. The rabbit led me to the music room, where I noticed Chu² listening to Reona's piano. I quietly listen to Reona's play, which is graceful yet rough. Her fingers were not stiff as she pressed the keys; she had made significant progress in such a short period of time.
I decided to show up and Reona stopped playing.
Chiyu: PAREO, why did you stop playing?
Reona: It's not that Chu²-sama. As you can see, Riku-sama has arrived.
Chu² turned at the door and she sees me as I walked towards them.
Chiyu: Iku. So you two managed to patch things up?
Riku: Not yet. But we're gonna settle it in a danmaku battle.
Chiyu: YOU WHAT?!
Riku: Hear me out! Tenshi planned this one out and I'm doing it to help Kaguya.
Chiyu: I see. If it's Tenshi's plan, then this better work. And you being here means that you want us to come with you?
Riku: That and we need some witnesses to the battle for confirmation.
Chiyu: Fine. PAREO, let's go.
Reona: Hai, Chu²-sama! This is the first time I'll see Riku-sama fight!
Chiyu: Now that you mention it, you're right. Anyway, you're gonna find Rinko and Ako next right? Last time I checked, those two are at the gaming room.
According to Chu², we went to the gaming area and the two Roselia girls were playing games like professional gamers. The girls stopped playing when they spotted me and Chu² come. I spared them the details, and they both agreed to attend. Ako-chan was thrilled to see me fight; well, she's about to see something nice.
Meanwhile with Kaguya...
Kaguya POV
After me and Riku split up, I went on ahead as I look for Eirin. I know that Eirin is in her room with Udongein, but I'm sure that they'll stop anything for my sake. As I reached the door where the two are currently, I knocked to see if they answered.
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

.
.
.
No one is answering...guess I have no choice.
Taking a deep breath, I balled up my fists and punched the door at full strength, breaking it in the process.
BAM!!!!!
The door flew to the opposite side of the room, and as I entered, I saw Eirin and Udongein on the floor. Eirin was on the floor face first, while Udongein had her eyes rolled up and foam coming from her mouth.
Kaguya: W-W-WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?!?!?!?
One wake up attempt later...
2:00 P.M.
After screaming at the top of my lungs, I called a few rabbits to assist me in fixing this mess and placed Eirin and Udongein in the beds that were available in the room.
After a few minutes of waiting, Eirin and Udongein finally woke up.
Eirin: W-What happened?
Udongein: Last that I remembered is...the mixture went horribly wrong and both of us collapsed after that.....
Eirin: I think I have to scrap that one entirely. I wasn't aware of the possible drawbacks....Rest up Udongein, I'll make some medici-
Kaguya: Ehem~
Eirin and Udongein turned around as they looked at me while my arms are crossed and I am kinda pissed off right now.
Eirin/Udongein: K-Kaguya-sama.....
Kaguya: Now...please explain what happened? I know I told you that you're free to do whatever you want here, Eirin, but I don't want this place to become a mad scientist's lab.
Eirin got up and kneeled down in front of me as an act of forgiveness.
Eirin: My utmost apologies Kaguya-sama. We were on a verge of a breakthrough, but we didn't expect a drawback and everything went south.
Udongein: We did try our best to prevent it from exploding, but in the end we collapsed due to the fumes it let out along with it.
Kaguya: Then that explains the mess. Alright, I'll let this one slide. Eirin, I know that you're loyal to me, but do this one more time.....
Eirin: I promise Kaguya-sama. I won't do it again.
Kaguya: Good, now get yourselves cleaned.
Udongein: Is something the matter Kaguya-sama?
Kaguya: Riku challenged me to a danmaku battle.
Both Eirin and Udongein were shocked when I told them that Riku challenged me. It's understandable because Riku is not the type to challenge someone out of the blue.
Eirin: Are you sure that Riku challenged you Kaguya-sama?
Kaguya: Yes. That's why you're coming with me to officiate the match.
Eirin: Understood.
Kaguya: And Udongein, I want you to fetch something from the sacred vault.
Eirin: Kaguya-sama...what are you planning?
Kaguya: I'm doing something that I should've done 3 years ago. Now Udongein, I want you to get this box in the vault and bring it to the battle site.
I showed a photo of a dark blue box to her and she nodded as she heads to the vault.
Eirin: Kaguya-sama, what did you ask Udongein to get from the vault?
Kaguya: Something that Tenshi left me.....I think it's fair to give it to Riku don't you think?
Eirin: I see. Then shall we head to the court? Riku and the others might get tired of waiting.
Eientei - Half-Moon Court
2:30 P.M.
3rd POV
We go to the half-moon court where Riku and the other girls who're already there and they're waiting for more than an 30 minutes.
Chiyu: They're really taking their sweet time...
Rinko: Maybe something happened.
Reona: What is Riku-sama doing?
Reona pointed at Riku who was sitting on the floor with his eyes closed and legs crossed.
Chiyu: Iku is preparing himself. He's facing Kaguya after all.
Ako: Is Kaguya-san that good?
Chiyu: She tends to fight using mind games, so Iku is probably meditating to make sure Kaguya won't live rent-free inside his head. But in combat power.....I can say she's above average.
Reona: So Riku-sama can beat her easily?
Chiyu: Kaguya can be a bit unpredictable in terms of spell cards.....out of all danmaku fighters, Kaguya has the most spell cards created.
Rinko: So Riku will have a hard time in dealing with her because he has no idea what spell she'll use?
Riku: She might have a lot of spells, but I can think of something to counter her.
Chiyu: Iku, so you're finished meditating?
Riku: Yeah. Look alive, they're here.
And on Riku's cue, Kaguya and Eirin arrived.
Kaguya: Sorry we're late. I have some things to take care of....
Riku: Don't mind. Anyway, about the rules of the battle.
Kaguya: Yes.....in this battle...you said that it's a one spell match right?
Riku: Yes, I did say that.
Kaguya: I....I want this one to be a Last Word match.
Riku, Chiyu and Eirin's eyes widened in shock to Kaguya's words. Eirin grabbed Kaguya's shoulders as she tries to convince her.
Eirin: Kaguya-sama! You can't be serious! Why would you ask Riku to a Last Word match?!
Rinko: Riku, what is a Last Word?
Chiyu: Last Word is essentially a trump card, sometimes known as an "Ultimate Move" in gaming. Last Words are different from other spell cards since it shows one's true self. However, using it poses major risks.
Reona: Risks?
Riku: Using a Last Word requires a significant amount of magical energy just to activate it. Once a Last Word is used, the user is unable to cast any spell cards for the remainder of the battle, and the user is severely weakened as a result.
Chiyu: And that's not it, Even after the battle, whoever casted a Last Word won't be able to use magic for a day or two, leaving one vulnerable to anything.
Ako: That is a lot of debuffs....
Rinko: But why do all of this....
Kaguya: This is the only way to settle this.....and I think Riku will agree to it.
Eirin: Riku, please think this through.
Riku: Very well....I accept.
Chiyu: Iku!! Are you for real right now?!
Riku: I was the one who challenged her, and she has the right to place the stipulation. If she wants this a Last Word Match, then let it be so. And besides, I can handle a day or two with no magic.
Eirin just shaking her head as she sees the two are dead set in the Last Word match.
Eirin: Since the two of you won't change your minds, then I guess we have to make the necessary precautions. Girls get behind me.
Rinko and the others aside from Riku and Kaguya went behind Eirin, and a huge white magic circle appeared below them and started to glow brightly as they covered their eyes with the exception of Riku and Kaguya.
When the magic circle dimmed down, the girls opened their eyes and they're in an open field.
Rinko: How did we get here?
Eirin: This is one of the Half-Moon court's features, once a battle is issued, it will automatically generate a specific field where the battle will take place, this is to make sure that there are no collateral damage once the battle starts. And an open field is a perfect stage for these two.
Riku: I agree with Eirin-san. This is a perfect field for our fight.
Kaguya: Couldn't agree more. We leave everything to you Eirin.
Eirin: Very well. Both of you, to your positions.
Riku and Kaguya jumped back as they made their distance. Once the two made their places, Eirin starts to explain the rules.
Eirin: This danmaku battle will follow a Last Word format. Both sides will have just one barrier, and you must use your Last Word simultaneously. Whoever collapses after the use of one's Last Word first loses. Do you both understand?
Riku and Kaguya nodded and Eirin snapped her fingers. A single white barrier covered the two as it vanished instantly.
Eirin: Now both barriers are set, both of you. Take flight.
At Eirin's signal, both of them started to fly high as they reach a certain altitude, both of them stopped. Meanwhile at the bottom, Rinko and the other girls were trying their best to look.
Rinko: They're pretty high up.
Ako: I can barely see Riku-nii from here.
Eirin: Don't worry, I've got this covered.
Eirin snapped her fingers as a screen appeared in front of the girls and they can see Riku and Kaguya floating in the sky.
Rinko: Good luck....Riku. Hopefully you won't go overboard again.
Chiyu: Again? You mean you saw him fight?
Rinko: I did. Me, Kaoru-san, Ran, and Chisato-san watched Riku fight against Kokoro-chan when we were t the Totsuki Resort.
Chiyu hearing that surprised her.
Chiyu: Iku fought Kokoro?! Then that means that she had her debut!!
Ako: Tsurumaki-san can use danmaku as well Rin-Rin?!
Rinko: She does.....but she lost to Riku in the end.
Riku: I don't want to ruin your talk, but I want this match to start.
Riku asked Eirin to start the match via telepathy, and Eirin nodded as she gives the signal.
Eirin: Both sides....SET.
Kaguya started to glow light pink with a tinge of red as she lets out a smirk as if she is taunting Riku.
Kaguya: Can you be the one to complete my impossible request?~
Riku only chuckled as lightning started to cover him, he adjusted his hat as his red eye gleamed at her.
Riku: Calamity will soon befall you Houraisan Kaguya....I hope you've come prepared.
Eirin: Ready...FIGHT!!!!!
Riku and Kaguya immediately brought out their spell cards. Kaguya took out a black spell card with white and gold linings, while Riku took out a crimson red spell card with black and gold linings.
Kaguya begins to cast her Last Word, as a massive magic circle appears behind her. What everyone did not expect was what she summoned. Even Riku was astonished at first.
The magic circle released a massive cannon similar to ones found in futuristic world games.
Ako: AWESOME!!!!
Rinko: That's her Last Word?!
Eirin: This is the first time I've seen Kaguya-sama used this one.....
Chiyu: So Iku is going in this blind.
Meanwhile with Riku, he just looked at the giant cannon that Kaguya summoned and he sees that Kaguya is flying towards the top of the cannon.
Riku(thoughts): I know what to use for this one.
Riku drew out his naginata, which morphed into the shape of a trident. The trident was black and gold, with many crimson linings. Lightning began to envelop the trident, and it gradually grew. And it grows till it reaches at least 150 meters in height. Riku is clutching the trident from the tip with his right hand.
Chiyu: WHAT IN THE FLAT LIVING HELL?!?!
Ako: I DIDN'T KNOW THAT RIKU-NII IS THAT STRONG!!!
Eirin: So Riku is using his original.
Reona: Original?
Eirin: The Nagae's signature Last Word is called Diggin' the Shrine Princess, but Riku decided to do something new.
Meanwhile, back at the battle, the two looked at each other and smirked, and without saying anything, Kaguya snapped her fingers as 5 magic circles appeared in front of the cannon, aiming at Riku, while he tossed the trident into the sky at high speed, and then followed the trident as it reached outside of the earth's atmosphere.
Meanwhile, the girls below remained silent as they saw Riku flew outside of the planet, as he's in space. Everyone is concerned how Riku can survive since he is in space without any protection.
Meanwhile, Kaguya was the same; she was surprised to see her friend fly up into space, but she shrugged it off since she had a fight to win. She aimed the cannon into the sky, where Riku was, and as the cannon began to charge, Kaguya began her chant.
Kaguya: This is the limits of my imagination.....Now, witness the combined might of the Earth and Lunarian knowledge!!
Meanwhile we go to space, Riku began to twirl the trident into position as he aimed it right on earth, and he also began to chant.
Riku: This is the evolution of the Nagae's style....I've thought of everything, and this is the result...Witness my new strength!!!
Meanwhile at below, Eirin seemed to notice, deployed a barrier around her and the girls with all of her might.
Chiyu: Eirin!!
Eirin: Brace yourselves.....the impact of those two will be big. Grab onto something just in case.
The girls followed Eirin's words as there were some pillars behind hem and began hiding behind it and held onto it tight.
At the sky, Kaguya finger pointed at the sky as she fires the laser cannon.
Kaguya: Pale Moon...Pentagram Laser!!!!!!
The cannon unleashed a massive violet laser, which struck the magic circle. The laser got stronger as it reached the first circle, and it continued until it reached the second, then the third, then the fourth, and finally the last circle, where the laser became larger than normal as it launched into the sky.
Meanwhile, Riku was running towards the trident's metal base, giving it a push with all of his strength and throwing it straight to the earth. He followed the tossed trident until he saw a massive laser heading straight at him.
Riku: I'm gonna pierce through it!! Thunder Lance....Celestial.....BUSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Riku punched the trident's end point, which collided with the laser. The trident began to wrap itself in lightning as it attempted to cut through the laser, but both sides refused to move.
Riku: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Kaguya: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Meanwhile at below, Eirin and the others were feeling the shockwave from the Last Word that Riku and Kaguya used. It was so strong, it started to push the girls away.
Rinko: THIS IS A WHOLE ANOTHER LEVEL!!!!
Ako: I'LL SAY!! AND THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!
Reona: Chu²-sama!! Hold on tight!!!
Chiyu: GET OFF OF ME FOR A MOMENT WILL YA!!! OI EIRIN!! WHEN WILL THIS STOP?!
Eirin: Hard to say, If this continues, this will be a battle of attrition.
Chiyu: So whoever uses their reserves first loses.....
At Kaguya's side, she's trying her best to let the cannon continuing firing but.....
Kaguya(thoughts): I can tell that Riku is fighting back.....I have to finish this before I run out of magic...
On Riku's side, he was pushing the trident down towards the laser but he wasn't even moving from his usual spot.
Riku(thoughts): This is bad...if this continues, this spell will break my arm literally. I have to finish this quick...Tenshi...lend me strength.....
Then all of a sudden, Riku started glowing bright blue instead of his usual violet, and bit by bit, the trident started moving.
Kaguya: No.....no way.....he's pushing it back? I ain't going down that easy Riku! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
Riku noticed that the laser got a bit stronger and it pushed him a bit. He showed a grin as he pushed the trident even more.
Riku: Two can play it that game Kaguya!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As the two attacks collided even more, there was a shift in momentum, and Riku's trident began to drop as it gained speed, becoming evident once Riku enters the sky. And when Kaguya saw it, she knew she'd lost the battle.
Kaguya: I see...so this is how it ends...GG Riku....that was a nice fight...
Kaguya accepted her fate as she closed her eyes and smiled as the trident pierced the cannon, releasing an enormous torrent of lightning over the area and fully destroying Kaguya's barrier as well as the cannon, resulting in her defeat and everything became white.
Eirin: The match is over!!! Winner, Nagae Riku!!!!
The field began to fade away, as did the trident and the destroyed cannon, and in a matter of seconds, the field returned to normal. And in the middle of the field, Riku stood in front of Kaguya, who was laying on the concrete floor.
Riku: So....did that get out of your system?
Kaguya: Yeah....it actually did. But it was a great match....
Riku: It was.....and it nearly broke my arm....good thing I finished it quickly....so.....we're good?
Kaguya looked through the ceiling as she closed her eyes....
Kaguya: Yeah....we're good.
And as the two finally came to terms, Eirin and the others walked towards them.
Eirin: Congratulations on your win Riku. And Kaguya-sama, that was a splendid battle, even though you lost.
Kaguya: I don't mind....this loss was kinda a breather for me...
Ako: RIKU-NII YOU WERE SO AWESOME OUT THERE!!!
Ako was hugging Riku tight at the excitement in her face was on the roof.
Reona: Congratulations on the win Riku-sama!!
Chiyu: Iku!
Chiyu was asking Riku for a fist bump in which they did and Chiyu was just smirking.
Rinko: Congratulations Riku.
Udongein: Sorry I'm late!!!
Udingein appeared and it seems that she came in late and missed the match.
Udongein: Did I.....miss everything?
Eirin: You did. But don't worry, I've got it recorded just in case.
Riku: If it's alright with you, can you send the video to me as well?
Eirin only nodded as Kaguya got up and went to Udongein.
Kaguya: So you found what I asked you to find?
Udongein: Hai. Took me a while to clear the security procedures, but here.....
Udongein presented Kaguya a dark blue box with the emblem of the Hinanawi Family on top. Kaguya took the box from Udongein and gave it to Riku.
Riku: Kaguya?
Kaguya: This is meant to be given to you. Open it to see what it is.
Riku only nodded as he opened the box slowly. As the box was completely opened, Riku sees two ocean blue metallic bracelets with two blue and brown gems on the side.
Riku: This is.....
Kaguya: Those bracelets are the Water Webs of Heaven and Earth. Tenshi made it specifically for you. And she meant to give it to you for your 16th birthday.
Riku was shocked to see the gift that Tenshi left him with as there were tears slowly coming from his eyes.
Kaguya: Tenshi asked me to give it to you together, but after what happened, I kept it in the sacred vault for years, until now. I'm sorry I kept this from you for so long; I should have given it to you sooner, but I didn't have the guts to talk to you back then....because I was afraid of what might happen.....I apologize for making it difficult for you.
Riku closed the box as he hugged it tightly, Rinko and Chiyu comforted Riku as he finished crying.
Chiyu(thoughts): This is the first time I've seen Iku cry like this....
Rinko(thoughts): He and Tenshi really are close...
After Riku calmed down, he opened the box again and wore the bracelets on his wrists. And in an instant, the bracelets shrunk in size that fits his wrists and the gems started to glow and water started to encircle the bracelets.
Rinko: I don't understand, didn't you say that when you use a Last Word, you won't be able to use magic?
Riku: Normally we do, but throughout the years, we've been continuing on improving and at the very least, we still have at least 20% of our magic power after we use our Last Word. Now let's see what I can do with this.
Kaguya: Tenshi told me that the Water Webs of Heaven and Earth lets you manipulate water and be able to liquefy earth. Go ahead, try something.
Riku started to think of something and he decided to create a mini whirlpool on his palm. Everyone was impressed on Riku's control, despite his low on magic power at the moment. But Riku decided to do a twist on it.
He saw a boulder on his right and threw the whirlpool like a Frisbee but there is a trail of water below the whirlpool as it made contact with the boulder and shattered. Riku pulled the whirlpool back to him like a Yo-Yo and showed a satisfies smile.
Kaguya: Looks like you have something in mind right?
Riku: Yeah...I can't wait to create some spells when I get back home.
Eirin: That is good and all, but look at the time.
They looked at the clock and it was already 4:30 P.M.
Riku: Our battle was that long? It felt like it was a short while.
Kaguya: Well you can't do anything about it anymore. How about you guys stay here for the night. We're about to show you how hospitable Eientei is.
Riku: Then we appreciate the offer. Thank y-
*Ring* *Ring*
Riku's phone rang, and as he took it out, he received a message from Mafuyu. He opened the message and saw a photo of Homura on top of Kanade with swirls in her eyes, while Ena tried to get Homura off of Kanade and Mizuki just laughed.
Rinko and the others asked, and Riku showed them the image, which startled them that he had a large dog in the house.
Riku advised Mafuyu to simply stroke Homura on the neck and he would follow you. After delivering the message, Kaguya advised that they both get some rest while they prepare for dinner.
Later....
Eientei - Lunar Garden
9:30 P.M.
Riku POV
After the battle with Kaguya. Me, Rinko, Ako-chan, Chu², and Reona went back to our rooms. The accommodation provided to us consisted of three separate rooms. I'll have one room, Rinko and Ako-chan will have another, and Chu² and Reona will share another.
After an hour of rest, Kaguya asked us to a little tea party before dinner began. To be honest, it went well....aside from Kaguya continually making fun of Rinko now that she knows we're technically in a relationship, and congratulations were also delivered by Reona and Ako-chan.
An hour later, we had dinner. And Kaguya certainly did not disappoint. It's been a long since I tried Lunarian food. When one of the cooks presented us with a moon cake, I asked Kaguya and Eirin-san whether "she" was in the the area, and they responded no, which made me sigh with relief.
After dinner, we retired to our rooms for some rest before leaving tomorrow morning. While we were in our rooms, Johan told me that OG had been invited to the ESL One Malaysia tournament, which would take place after the Riyadh Masters. I looked at the website and looked at the bands who were invited to the competition, and I saw that the majority of the invited bands have already qualified or have closed their applications for TI.

After seeing the invited teams, I began to question why the majority of them were from Western Europe. And two are from Alliance and Nigma, which are at the bottom of the Western Europe Region rankings. And I noticed Sumail returned and joined Nigma.
As I turned off my phone, one of the moon rabbits approached and said Kaguya was waiting for me at the Lunar Garden.
I'm in the garden, and I notice Kaguya on the bench, staring at the moon.
Riku: Miss your home that much?
Kaguya: Not really, just admiring the view of the moon. Come, sit.
Kaguya offered me a spot and I sat down right beside her.
Riku: So, what are you planning now? Now that we've come to terms on what happened with the past.
Kaguya: I've been thinking.....I think I'll try and finish my education...
Riku: I see, good for you. I mean you stopped going to school for 3 years, so you missed out a lot.
Kaguya: Yeah. I actually asked Eirin for advice on how to tackle it.
Riku: So any idea where you want to continue your education? As far as I know, you could at least come back to school as a third year like me. But it's already June, so it might get difficult.
Kaguya: Don't worry! I've got Eirin to help me!
Riku: You do know that Eirin won't be helping your ass once you come to school right?
Kaguya: I know. So, how're the bracelets faring for you?
Riku: Fits like a glove....Tenshi really made this for me.
Kaguya: Hey, it's not just Tenshi who made that. The gems in that bracelet cam from me.
Riku: No wonder the gems are of high quality...thanks.
Kaguya: No problem....Riku, I heard from my old man about the situation of your family.
Riku: Ah that, yeah. But it's okay, grandfather has it covered...we still have a week till that day.
Kaguya: Any idea who your betrothed is?
Riku: No clue. But grandfather told me that I should bring Rinko and her family too.
As I say that Kaguya just looked at me in disbelief with her mouth opened as if she realized something.
Kaguya: Wait.....a possible engagement....bringing family....pfffff...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
Kaguya started laughing and this annoyed me a bit.
Riku: Oi Kaguya! You now something right?!

While Kaguya was laughing her heart out, Eirin who was with Udongein looked through the window and they see the two friends having a good time.
Eirin: You finally smile genuinely.....Kaguya-sama.
Udongein: Then that means it's a good thing right?
Eirin: Yes, Udongein, how're Kaguya-sama's transfer files?
Udongein: The files got their approval. As for Kaguya-sama's accomodations-
Eirin: Don't worry, I have it covered.
Eirin winked at Udongein, but the latter bluntly said that it doesn't suit her, and the former just suddenly took out a green vial and forced Udongein to drink it as the Rabbit slowly collapsed on the floor.

June 6, 2021 - Sunday - 10:00 A.M.
Riku POV
Sunday has arrived, and it is time for us to leave and return to Tokyo. We ate breakfast, packed our bags, and made sure we didn't forget anything.
We're at the Eientei parking lot, and the girls, except from myself, have already entered the car. Rinko called shotgun, and Chu², Ako-chan, and Reona are at the rear. Eirin-san and Kaguya were there to say goodbye as they waited for me.
Kaguya: I hope you enjoyed your stay here. If possible, you can bring all of your friends here. It'll be more fun.
Riku: I'll try to invite them if they have the time. And good luck Kaguya.
Kaguya: Thanks.
Eirin: Before you leave, I want you to take these.
Eirin-san gave me a white box and when I opened it there were 18 small bottles.
Eirin: Those bottles contain a magic elixir that will replenish one's magic power in an instant.
Riku: That means, we can use our spells more often.
Eirin: Yes, but the catch is, though you can use spell cards that were recently used, Last Words are out of the option.
Riku: I see. But still, thank you. I'll put these to good use.
Eirin: I know you will. Now do take care okay?
Eirin-san and Kaguya hugged me as they said their goodbyes, and I returned the hug. After we broke the hug, I got into the car, and as we drove away, Kaguya and Eirin-san waved at me. I just gave them a thumbs up and drove away.
A few minutes later, we're on our way back to Tokyo. According to my estimates, we'll arrive in Tokyo about 1-2 p.m. And as I was driving, Rinko received a message from Yukina.
Rinko: Riku, Yukina-san said that someone from ROLAND wants to meet with us. It involves a deal with Roselia.
Riku: Another sponsorship deal eh? What's Hanabi-san's opinion on this?
Rinko: Hanabi-san said that we should go for it. She's implying that our instruments and equipment needed an upgrade. She said that we'll meet the representative at 3 today.
Riku: I see. Chu², I'll drop you and Reona to your penthouse, is that okay?
Chiyu: Whatever fits your bill.
Chu² began to shut her eyes and fell asleep, I looked at the back and Ako-chan and Reona were already asleep aside from Rinko.
Riku: Not sleepy?
Rinko: No.....I'm not sleepy...Riku.....what do you think will happen next? I mean....we only have a week left before that day....
Riku: Let's just have fate run it's course. We'll cross that bridge once we get there. Did you tell your parents about it?
Rinko: I did but...both of them had mixed reactions.
Riku: It's a given. I mean who in their right mind would you go along with your parents to an engagement meet up with someone else right?
Rinko: Yeah...it looked so wrong in so many ways....I gave them the details and they decided to go.
Riku: Then that's good. Still, get some rest, you got a sponsorship deal later right?
Rinko reluctantly accepted my offer and she closed her eyes as it'll be a while til we get to Tokyo. Once Rinko was fully asleep, I opened the car window on my side as I feel the wind as I drive.
3 and a Half Hours Later.....
Live House CiRCLE
1:30 P.M.
After three hours of driving, we arrived in Tokyo. As promised, I dropped off Chu² and Reona at the penthouse, where we were met by Rei, Masuki, and Rokka.
After saying my goodbyes to them, I drive our way to CiRCLE. And, as I recall, Ichika and the girls have a shift today.
As soon as we got at the live house, I woke up the two Roselia members. We went inside once they had woken up, and Marina was at the front desk.
Marina: Riku! Welcome back! I take that you took care of business at your side right?
Riku: Yeah. Anything happened while I was away?
Marina moved the monitor to my direction, and I noticed that numerous local bands had booked a show here. And they've agreed to collaborate live and conduct a half-quota contract, which requires them to have at least 800 people watch their performance. I questioned Marina if it was appropriate to enforce such a regulation, and she answered that the bands were sure in reaching the quota.
Riku: So, when will they perform?
Marina: They'll be performing next month.
Riku: I see. Since you were the one who accepted it, I want you to be in charge of the whole thing Marina.
Marina was surprised that I gave her the reins of the upcoming event.
Marina: M-M-Me?!
Ako: Isn't that great, Marina-san!
Rinko: Ako-chan, this will be a huge responsibility for Marina-san.
Riku: I'm not doing this without a reason. The reason why I gave you the reins, I want you to show me why grandfather chose you to be the manager of this place.
Marina: !!!
Rinko: What do you mean by that Riku?
Riku: Marina was handpicked by grandfather to become CiRCLE's manager. He did say that Marina has the skills to back it up, but that is still up in debate.
Marina: I'LL DO IT!!! I'LL SHOW YOU WHY KYOYA-SAMA CHOSE ME TO BE CiRCLE'S MANAGER!! AND I WILL MAKE THIS LIVE A SUCCESS!!
With Marina's declaration, I only smiled as I pat her shoulder.
Riku: Then don't let me down. CiRCLE's reputation is on an all time high right now. Let's see if you can keep the momentum going.
Marina: HAI!!!
Riku: Good. Me, Rinko and Ako-chan will be at office. If by any chance that Yukina, Lisa and Sayo showed up, tell them that okay?
Marina: Leave it to me!!
Riku: Good. And take a break while you wait, you deserve it.
Marina saluted as me, Rinko and Ako-chan head to my office as we wait for the rest of Roselia and the ROLAND Representative.
Live House CiRCLE - Riku's Office
We've reached my office, and as I opened the door, something big tackled me and right now, I'm on the floor and I see a huge dog on top of me.
Riku: Homura?
*WOOF*
Rinko: R-Riku.....
Ako: Look at the size of that dog Rin-Rin!!
I can see Rinko and Ako-chan were inquisitive about Homura, especially Rinko. The former wore a troubled expression, but the latter had her eyes shining with enthusiasm. But the girl's expression changed as Homura got off of me and approached the two.
Rinko: N-N-Nice dog.....
Riku: Calm down you two, Homura is just checking you out.
Ako: Checking us out?
I just said nothing as Homura was sniffing both of them. And after a few seconds, Homura started snuggling Rinko.
Riku: Looks like Homura has taken a liking on you.
Rinko: Is that so?
Rinko looked down at Homura as he was still snuggling her, she returned the affection by rubbing his head and I can see Homura's wagging his tail fast.
Marina: Riku! I forgot to tell you somethi-....oh.....guess you already found out.
Riku: Marina. How did Homura get here?
Marina: Well, Kyoya-san brought him here an hour before you got here, and he told me to let him stay here because he figured that you'll make a quick stop here. But don't worry, he didn't do anything bad.....except Ichika-chan and the others were scared at his size the first time they saw him.
Riku: Speaking of Ichika, where are they?
Marina: I asked them to deliver something to the other live houses. Some packages that came from VALVE arrived earlier today.
Riku: I see. Then I'll leave it to you. Girls, let's get in, and Homura, with me.
The Next Day...
Hanasakigawa Girl's High School - Class 3-A
June 7, 2021 - Monday
7:30 A.M.
Yesterday went extremely nicely. After Marina explained why Homura was at CiRCLE, we returned to my office while waiting for the rest of Roselia to come. Yukina and the others came 30 minutes later, accompanied by a representative from ROLAND.
When they first met Homura, Yukina hid behind Lisa since it was her first interaction with a dog of such size. Sayo, on the other hand, was smitten with Homura. I can immediately assume that Sayo prefers dogs over cats.
The discussions for the deal proceeded swiftly, and they offered Roselia the opportunity to use the newly released instruments that ROLAND made, for which they were grateful, and they can even modify it to their liking. Rinko's keyboard just need an upgrade, as the keyboard she is now using was purchased using the voucher I gave her before to their live performance.
Though Yukina is still recovering her voice, Lisa and Sayo took leadership of the talks and let Yukina to make the final decision.
In the end, Roselia agreed to a three-year, $12 million contract with ROLAND. And it will take effect when the next season of the PBC begins. Fortunately, ROLAND is one of OG's sponsors.
Today is Monday....and there are less than 6 days till the meeting that my grandfather promised me. My students are whispering about the rumors circulating around.
Riku: Rinko, any idea what they're talking about?
Rinko: There are some rumors that there will be a transfer student coming here today.
Sayo: But who will transfer here at this time? All I know is that there are no more transfer slots in the 3rd years.
Chisato: But do you have any idea who will come?
Sayo: No, we were told not to disclose the information. All I know is that the student came from Fukushima or something.
When I heard that Sayo said that the student came from Fukushima...I can only think one person insane enough to ditch her territory just to screw with me...
Riku: Oh for fuck sake....
And right on time, our homeroom teacher arrived as homeroom is about to start.
Teacher: Alright class, before we begin homeroom, let me introduce to you your new classmate. You can come in now.
At the teacher's call, the door opened and my hunch was right. The one who came in was Kaguya, wearing a Hanasakigawa school uniform as she stood beside the teacher.
Kaguya: Good morning to you all. From this day till graduation, I'll be your new classmate. I am Houraisan Kaguya, pleasure to meet your acquaintance.
The girls started clapping at Kaguya's introduction and I am still in shock that Kaguya was here and I just face palmed. I looked at Rinko and she was surprised as well.
Sayo: Riku-san, why is Houraisan-san here?
Riku: Remember the time I texted you girls if you were free during the weekends?
Sayo: Yeah.
Riku: She was the reason why. I just settled some personal matters related to her....I guess she's starting to recover.
Chisato: K-Kaguya-san?
Kaguya heard Chisato's voice and she looked at her and gave her a bright smile.
Kaguya: Chi-chan!! Long time no see!!
When Kaguya called Chisato by her nickname, Chisato started to blush.
Chisato: I told you not to call me that! And aren't you 19 by now? Why are you here anyway?
The class looked surprised when Chisato said that Kaguya was at the same age as me. But Kaguya started to explain her situation so they can understand.
Kaguya: The reason I came here, despite the fact that I am 19, is to graduate high school. For the last three years, I have been unable to motivate myself to leave the Eientei due to an incident. Now that I've resolved some personal issues, I believe it's time to finish what I started.
Kanon: So you have the same situation as Riku-kun?
Kaguya: Well you can say that. And who are you little cutie?~
When Kaguya asked Kanon for her name, she spoke in a teasing tone...oh no.....don't tell me.
Kanon: M-Matsubara K-Kanon...
Kaguya approached Kanon as she lifted Kanon's head by the chin as their faces were that close.
Kaguya: Oh my~....you're kinda cute~
And that's where I draw the line. Without hesitation, I gave Kaguya a hard chop on the head, stopping her from doing something immoral.
*CHOP*
Kaguya: What was that for Riku?! I was getting to the good stuff!!
Riku: And thank god I did that. Just to let you know, if you did that to Kanon, she will never get out of her house for the rest of her life!
Kanon: Fueeeeeh?!
Chisato: Oh.....right.....I literally forgot about that....
Sayo: Forgot about what Shirasagi-san?
Rinko: Believe it or not....Kaguya-san.....is a lesbian....

Kaguya: Why did you say that to them Rinko?!?
Riku: To make sure you don't cause any trouble while you're here. Look at Kanon.
I pointed at Kanon and we see her hiding behind Chiasto shaking in fear.
Kaguya: Is she that scared?
Riku: Yes.
Classmate 2: Um...if I may ask....Houraisan-san, I-
Kaguya: Just call me Kaguya, calling me by my family name is way too formal.
Classmate 2: Kaguya-san, what's your relationship with Riku-san?
Kaguya: Easy, we're childhood friends.
Riku: As much as I hate to admit, but yeah...but still, it's great to have you back on your feet Kaguya.
Kaguya: It's good to be back!
Kaguya showed me a bright smile that could rival Kokoro's as we begin our day.
