Under the night sky, a rusty, three-masted ship, the "Mad Axe," floated on the sea. On its deck, the firelight illuminated a series of cruel scenes.

"Hahaha! Bring all the women to me!"

"Ah—! Please, spare my daughter!"

"Old man, cut the crap!"

A burly pirate brandished a bloody battle-axe, sneering as he cornered a crying woman. On the other side, several pirates were carelessly piling up stolen treasures, trampling on them wantonly.

"Captain! That little kid's crying is really interesting!"

"Gagaga! Gouge out his eyes and see how much they'll sell for!"

At the cabin entrance, the muscular Captain Barton, holding a giant axe, slowly walked out. He licked his lips, his voice as low as a beast's. "Everyone, finish up quickly. Don't waste time."

Just then, a warship cut through the waves from the distant sea. On its deck, Roy stood at the bow, his gaze as cold as a blade. Beside him, Ace was nervously clenching his fists, a slight tremor in his eyes.

"Ace, are you scared?" Roy asked lightly.

Ace gritted his teeth, his eyes full of stubbornness. "I'm not scared!" But his tightly clenched fists trembled slightly, the veins on his forehead bulging. The nauseatingly cruel scene he had just seen through the binoculars had made his young heart truly feel the ugliness and cruelty of real pirates for the first time.

Roy raised his hand and gently patted his shoulder. "Stay close to me."

The next second—

"Swish—!"

Roy and Ace's figures vanished instantly.

"BOOM!"

A tremendous sound came from the enemy ship's deck. A gust of wind sent three laughing pirates flying.

"Enemy attack—!!!"

Barton's pupils constricted. "Who is it?!"

Roy landed on the deck, shattering it with one foot. He threw a punch, and a pirate's chest instantly caved in, blood spraying. Ace's eyes were wide. In that instant, he saw the coldness in Roy's eyes.

"Ahhhh—!!" A pirate swung his sword at Ace. Ace snapped back to his senses, grabbed an iron rod, dodged the attack, and slammed it into the man's knee.

"CRACK!"

The pirate howled in pain and fell to his knees. Ace hit him again on the back of the head, knocking him out.

"Well done," Roy's voice came from behind him.

Ace gritted his teeth. "These guys... can't be allowed to hurt anyone else!"

Roy smiled slightly. The next second, a giant figure charged out—

"Who dares to cause trouble on my ship?!"

"Mad Axe" Barton, nearly three meters tall, holding a giant axe, his face full of flesh, his body covered in bloodstains, was full of killing intent.

"Gegege... I didn't expect the Marines to have someone who brings a kid to die!" Barton sneered, a sick excitement in his eyes.

Ace's whole body trembled, but the fire in his eyes burned even brighter. "Roy! Let's go together!"

Roy was slightly taken aback, then chuckled. "Alright, let's try it."

Barton roared and swung his giant axe down.

"Swish!"

Roy grabbed Ace's shoulder, and their figures vanished instantly. The giant axe missed, splitting the entire deck in two.

"Where did they go?!" Barton was horrified.

"Over here!" Roy and Ace appeared behind him. Ace jumped up and slammed his rod into the back of Barton's head.

"BANG!"

Barton roared in pain and swung his axe back. Roy dodged, and his right leg kicked him in the abdomen.

"BOOM!"

Barton staggered back a few steps and sneered angrily, "Is that all you've got?!"

Roy's eyes turned cold. "Ace, coordinate with me!"

Ace nodded firmly. "Understood!"

Roy flashed in front of Barton, his fist ready. Barton roared and raised his axe to block, but Roy's fist strangely disappeared just as it was about to connect.

"What?!"

The next second, Roy appeared behind him and slammed his elbow into his spine.

"Ugh!" Barton cried out in pain. Just as he was about to counterattack, Ace rushed in from the side and poked him in the butt with his rod.

"You damn kid!!" Barton roared and clenched his butt. Just as he was about to swing his axe back, Roy teleported above his head and kicked him in the chin with an Armament-coated foot.

"BANG!"

Barton's massive body crashed to the ground, completely unconscious.

The deck was stained with blood. The firelight reflected on Ace's face, his eyes as firm as fire. "Roy! We won!"

Roy slowly retracted his fist and nodded lightly. "Good teamwork."

Ace sat on the deck, his hands still trembling slightly, sweat streaming down his face, but the fire in his eyes burned brighter than ever. "Roy! Let me come with you again next time!"

Roy leaned against the ship's rail and smiled. "When you're a little stronger."

Ace clenched his fists tightly. "I'll definitely get stronger!"

Roy looked at the distant starry sky, a deep meaning in his eyes. "That's the kind of resolve he needs. Subtly, he will definitely become someone to rely on in the future."

After arranging for the warship to escort the civilians safely back home and completely annihilating all the pirates, Roy and Ace boarded the warship for their return journey.

Marineford Port.

As the sea breeze howled, the warship slowly sailed into Marineford port. Just as they stepped onto the pier, a deafening laugh came over—

"Hahaha! Roy! I brought you a 'souvenir'!"

Roy was slightly taken aback. He saw Garp striding over, carrying a little snot-nosed kid.

Roy raised an eyebrow. "Who's this?"

Garp put the little kid on his shoulder on the ground. "Ace, this is your little brother, Luffy!"

The little guy staggered to his feet, sniffed, and stared at Ace with big, watery eyes, tilting his head. "???"

Ace: "???"

The next second, the little guy pounced on Ace as if he had discovered a new continent. "Pinchy face!"

"You bastard! Let go!" Ace was furious.

"BANG! BANG!"

Garp gave each of them a "Fist of Love." Two large bumps instantly formed on the two kids' heads. They squatted down, clutching their heads. "That hurts!!!"

Garp stood with his hands on his hips, laughing. "Hahaha! He's your little brother. Brothers should love each other."

Roy sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Old man, can't you be a little more normal..."

Marine Headquarters, Roy's residence.

Night fell, and the lights were bright. In the living room, Luffy was jumping up and down, using the table as a training ground. Ace was chasing him around the room with a wooden stick.

"Stay still! You bastard, Luffy!"

"Hahaha! Ace is so slow!"

"You brats, stop messing around!"

Roy teleported them into his hands, one in each, a dark line on his face. "Old man, you're not turning my place into a kindergarten, are you?"

Garp squatted on the sofa and laughed. "I can't help it. I've already brought one back. Sengoku specifically told me not to stuff any more people into Headquarters, so I'm counting on you this time."

He leaned in mysteriously to Roy. "Just tell everyone he's an orphan you rescued on your last mission."

Roy frowned. "Do you think Fleet Admiral Sengoku is an idiot? He'll believe that?"

Garp: "Hahaha! That old geezer Sengoku has always been soft-hearted. Maybe he'll believe it."

Just then, Luffy suddenly leaped onto Roy's back. "Big brother, you're so tall!"

Ace was exasperated. "You idiot! Get down!"

Just as Roy was about to put Luffy down, a thought flashed through his mind. He turned to Garp. "Old man, do you remember Bell-mère?"

Garp was stunned. "That female Marine from the East Blue? The one who adopted two little girls?"

Roy nodded, a slight smile on his lips. "Transfer her to Headquarters. Since you've already brought two, you won't mind bringing two more, right?"

Garp's eyes widened. "Hey, hey! You brat, you're not thinking of bringing those two little girls over too, are you?!"

Roy shrugged as if it were a matter of course. "Since we've already started raising them, we might as well raise the whole set. It'll be good for the kids to have some company~"

Garp was speechless. "You're even bolder than I am." After a moment of thought, Garp said seriously, "Maybe... that could actually work?"

From then on, Roy's residence completely became a "problem children" shelter.

"Meat! I want to eat meat!"

"Shut up! That's mine!"

"Meat thief!"

"You bastard!"

"BANG! BANG!"

"Be quiet when you're eating!" Roy gave each of the two brothers a punch, and they ate their food obediently with bumps on their heads.

On the training ground, "Watch my iron fist—Ouch!" Ace was in front of a training post, clutching his fist and howling on the ground.

"Hahaha! Ace is so weak!" Luffy was rolling on the ground with laughter.

"You want to die!" Ace pounced on him, and the two rolled into a ball. Finally, Zephyr picked them up, one in each hand. "If you want to fight, go run 100 laps first."

At night, Luffy hugged Ace. "Ace, let's sleep together!"

Ace frowned in disgust. "Get away! It's too hot!"

Luffy (with teary eyes): "Waaah... Ace is so mean..."

Ace turned his head away awkwardly. "...Tch, do whatever you want."

At the door, Roy leaned against the doorframe, watching the two who had quieted down, a slight smile on his lips.

Two days later, Marineford, Sengoku's office.

Sengoku slammed his desk. "Garp!!! Is this your doing again?!"

Garp was picking his nose contentedly. "I didn't do anything. It was Roy's application."

A vein popped on Sengoku's forehead. "You think I'll believe that? Transferring Bell-mère is one thing, but why bring the two little girls over too?!"

Vice Admiral Tsuru smiled lightly. "It's a good thing. Headquarters could use a little more humanity."

Zephyr snorted coldly. "It's better than a certain old bastard stuffing his grandsons into Headquarters all the time."

Garp picked his nose. "Someone also likes to raise 'little rice fruits'~"

"..." Sengoku rubbed his forehead. "You guys are going to drive me crazy one day!"
