The Mystic Saiyaman.

Chapter 2: Act 01 - Welcome to the Elite Class.

[ Previously ]

Standing on the center stage, aiming for a transparent crystal. Gohan sighed quietly as he kept his fighting power under control... containing as much as he could, and with veins pulsating on his forehead, many mistook this for him struggling to find his magical energy, but what only a few noticed was his aura being suppressed into a dull form inside him. Something as difficult as trying to transfer all the water in an ocean through a straw and make it fit into a glass, but he is very prepared for it.

Then, touching the crystal while infusing his own KI, a number appeared... something that surprised everyone and kept them confused in their own reveries.

- P-fighting power... 5.5. - A pink teacher said, in confusion, what the meaning of such power was, informing her superiors. If it was fighting power 5, it had to be Abortion class, now if it was 6, it had to be Elite. There was never a middle ground that confused where it would be assigned.

Then, with a nod to the next step. Gohan walked to the second crystal and finally infused his KI again, only for two lists of elemental skills to appear:

On the left-hand side, they mentioned the five basic elements: (Suiton) - Water, (Doton) - Earth, (Katon) - Fire, (Futon) - Wind and (Raiton) - Lightning.

On the right, all the fused skills known today were notably present. These were: (Mokuton) - Wood, (Hyouton) - Ice, (Ranton) - Storm, (Jinton) - Dust, (Youton) - Lava, (Yugeton) - Steam, (Futton) - Acid, (Shouton) - Crystal, (Jiton) - Magnetism, (Shakuton) - Heat, (Enton) - Flame, (Bakuton) - Explosion, (Hikariton) - Light, (Meiton) - Darkness.

Then, not wanting to waste time with all the attention on himself, Gohan promptly headed for the physical meter.

Sighing again as he placed his fist very close to the meter, Gohan punched it very lightly to the sarcastic laughter of the other students, but it was noticeable to Rias and Akeno how serious he was about the tests.

And to the uncomfortable silence of the entire gym, the milestone of 500 physical power had been calculated as the machine beeped furiously and crackled slightly under the alarmed sigh of a brunette teacher.

- Damn... - Gohan muttered to himself at his failure to stop himself. At least he had expected less than 150, but he had nothing to do about it. Then, dispelling all these thoughts, he quickly thanked whatever divine entity had controlled his fighting power.

It would be crazy for his total fighting power to appear there, something that was at the 100,000,000 mark. That would be a crazy thing to happen in a crowd like that.

Then, seeing a lot of murmuring around the place, Gohan finally left the stage, under general attention, heading for the area where he would be assigned to a class.

Many now understood the reason for his irregular crest, his fighting power kept him in neither one class nor the other, making him receive both.

Their elemental skills were a great surprise, even to Saiyaman himself, who had never thought of controlling elements composed in nature, since KI control was something more pressurized, natural and explosive, and it seems that humans, not being as strong as aliens, aimed to adapt the use of such energy in their own way, something more controlled, fluid and elemental that would fit in well with the knowledge and reason they had about the world.

And finally, his physical power, well, his muscular physique showed him to be strong, but not absurdly above the standard shown by Mr. Satan who for all of them was one of the most powerful, even for being in the Cell tournament match.

And then a newcomer arrives, and turns out to have more calculated physical power than the principal. That really would be cause for debate throughout the school.

[ ... ]

The selection process was very simple for all the students, based on their fighting power, and they went to a class in both divisions, but with Gohan's arrival, he was the difference, and after much discussion by the school board, he was considered an Elite Class Abortion.

And this is where it was finally going:

- Class 1-A... - Gohan muttered, already late for class due to the debate he'd had with the albino principal. - Well... let's go!

Dictating such and with a single thought in mind of having a calm and peaceful student journey, little did the beloved Human-Saiyajin hybrid know that his life would literally turn upside down from here on in.

Now they have a redhead and two brunettes on their tail, while many in the hidden world aim to understand what the Saiyans' much-feared potential is, and how they can give up such an ally without risking becoming sworn enemies of the most powerful Saiyaman.

[ 1st Arc: School Life ]

Entering class 1-A, Gohan noticed all the students spread out in groups, with desks specifically one meter apart from each other. To the right of the teacher sitting at her desk, there were five long glass windows open with the breeze cooling the class, as each student's attention turned to himself when he closed the door.

It took Gohan milliseconds to study everyone there, their emotions, superficial ideals, postures, fighting power and primary intentions towards him.

He felt curiosity in the air, but above all, arrogance or annoyance when they saw the color of his uniform in relation to the class that maintained a standard.

- Excuse me. - Gohan started walking towards the teacher, who was a woman with long dark hair. - I've been instructed to this class and to give you my registration form.

- If you're planning to join a clique of friends, you've already made a wrong start. - The teacher responded with an air of superiority to his tardiness, to some laughter from the students.

- I think that's my concern, not yours. - Gohan said seriously without affecting his countenance.

- Hnpf... Son Gohan, right? - The woman asked herself condescendingly as she read his file. - The Abortion of the Elite class, an example of motivation for the weak and a laughing stock for the strong.

- And you think you're strong enough to simply judge someone by the uniform they wear? - Gohan let out a short laugh this time. - In my experience, it's those types of people who can't stand the pressure and piss themselves with fear when they see something superior to them.

- Now I ask you, do you think you're superior enough to judge something like this? - She asked, getting up and approaching Gohan as the mood in the class cooled.

- Yes. - Gohan said, letting any emotion fall from his face as the pressure of the class seemed to weigh on him, as if the gravitas was getting thicker.

- I like it, kid... I just want to see how long you can stay alive around here. - The teacher dictated, drying Gohan from top to bottom, with a smile for finally not seeing someone submit to her so easily. - Now get yourself a desk, because it looks like these little groups have finished introducing themselves and getting along, so good luck. - She finished laughing as she went back to her desk, not bothering with presentations or keeping Gohan's registration card.

- Everyone sit down and keep quiet until I tell you otherwise. - The teacher dictated in order to the whole class, who laughed and chatted, while Gohan walked to the last available desk, next to the window that showed a huge cherry tree with birds playing with each other.

-- Chabashira Sae --

- Economics and Politics: Class 1-A -

- My name is Chabashira Sae, I'm your professor of Financial Economics and Political Branches. - She said, turning away from the board after writing her name. - From the looks on some of your faces, I know what you're going to ask, but no... there won't be any student changes in this class for the next three years until you graduate, so live with it or just leave and never come back.

- First, I'll hand out the school rule books. Take one and pass it back. - Sae explained, placing ten books on each of the first desks she walked past, indicating that there were 50 students in all in the class. - We have special rules at this school, dormitories with basic sanitation and electricity are available for everyone, outside of here it's your life and I don't care, but inside the school campus... you must follow all the rules in the book.

- Here we focus on teaching you children to become adults, so forget the loving home, your families and any pampering, you'll have adult responsibilities by force, because that's how you learn.

- The school provides a variety of facilities for your daily lives, everything you need is found here, from household equipment to entertainment.

- To buy things, you'll use points stored in the school's official computer system. - Said the teacher, showing a cell phone with the "Briefs" logo, a device that Gohan himself had had since the Beta version, tucked away in his pocket. - In this school you can buy anything using points, they are awarded on the first day of each month at 6am and are only available for use in our establishments, both of which can be found on the inside of the back cover of each book you have received. - It was there that Gohan took out the secondary device he now had, where the home screen displayed his personal data due to the unlocking by facial and fingerprint reading, along with a tiny balance compared to what he had on his primary device.

- Each of you has already received 1,000 points this month. - She said to the euphoria of the class, which had been wide-eyed at so much money, since they were practically pre-teens who had always lived with their parents, and had never had an income of their own.

- "This is too good to be true, what is this woman's game?" - Gohan thought suspiciously of the look on the teacher's face when she saw the euphoria in the class.

- You're surprised... don't be, this school judges students based on their merit. - She explained, laughing slightly. - You earn a significant amount just for being accepted here and from that your merits pay off, just like in any job... you work, you get paid. - But the class barely listened, each clique gathered to talk euphorically about what to buy after school, some even planning to kill class by focusing on decorating their dormitories, others on food and entertainment, such as movies and karaoke.

This leaves only a few truly focused and thoughtful students in their seats.

These included Himejima Akeno, Gremory Rias, Satan Videl and Son Gohan, who studied everyone, especially the teacher, who seemed to have a sadistic streak that no one there was taking any notice of.

- "Fifty students per class, four classes per school year and a total of three high school years... That's 600 students in total, from freshmen to graduates. If each student gets 1,000 a month, that's 12,000 a year each and, being only single students with rent, energy and sanitation paid for free, it's a great income to keep a house and invest." - Gohan thought it all over while examining his device. - "A bit strange that the government would fund it like that, is it just me being paranoid?"

And so the remaining hours of the first lesson passed, in which the teacher let everyone get along while they discussed their virtual desks, during which Gohan began to study the difference between this device and the primary one he had received from Bulma herself when she visited him at his mother's farm.

[ ... ]

With the signal for the end of the first class and the start of the first break, Gohan sighed as he stood up calmly to the euphoria of particularly the whole class, who ran outside pushing each other.

- Son Gohan, stay here a minute, we need to talk about something. - Sae stopped him before he got through the door.

With Rias and Akeno taking one last look at him before leaving, Gohan promptly closed the door while turning to the teacher.

- What do you want? - Gohan asked.

- I think you know... you easily walked right through the trap I set, it's impossible for mere irresponsible students to last a whole month with only a balance of a thousand points. - Sae said, crossing her arms. - We know that in that short time they're going to spend it on a lot of nonsense like any child would, and I don't want you to get in the way of that.

- For someone who clearly seems to follow the prejudiced thinking of Abortion and the Elite... I think you're overestimating me to know anything. - Gohan replied with a smile.

- My only concern is for myself... if my lessons don't bear the necessary fruit of discipline, I can simply be replaced, it won't be a teenager who gets in the way.

- Interesting... and what's stopping me from exposing it to these kids? You know... since they practically don't seem to like the uniform I'm wearing, could I buy their respect by exposing the high school teacher's scam? - Gohan said seriously, with the woman's gaze shadowed, only for her to raise a smile and approach him.

- Yeah... - She began by lightly pulling Gohan by the tie and placing a kiss on his lips. - If I expose anything, I'll expose that you forced a kiss on your stuck-up high school teacher, and then you just get expelled for harassment, canceled on social media and your little life is just destroyed before it even begins.

Gohan, who had closed his eyes to the woman's gaze, simply said:

- You may regret trying to manipulate me.

- Don't worry. - Sae said smiling. - My life is already full of regrets.

- Yeah... at least do it right. - Gohan said, stepping forward and tugging her lightly by the tie, and his wife's eyes widened when her lips met his, but it didn't stop there, as Gohan quickly dominated the kiss, inserting his tongue into her mouth, which was immediately reciprocated.

So, letting go of his teacher's tie, Gohan smiled as he turned to leave the class, leaving the woman behind in her panting state.

- But don't worry, I have no reason to spoil your schemes... as long as you don't try to threaten me, I think we'll be fine. - Gohan said as he took one last look at the woman, whose eyes widened as she saw her pupil's dark pupils glow emerald. - Even once it's over, but there won't be a second time. - He concluded, closing the door with a serious countenance only shown when he became a Super Saiyan, which brought out all the anger and hatred in his heart, but in minimal portions in the case of now, when it was usually active with the pure shouting and hidden fury of a true Saiyan warrior exposing all his power and aura.

[ ... ]

Leaving the school campus, Gohan took a deep breath of the fresh air as he headed towards an alleyway between buildings. Thoughts of how he would live together from now on were racing through his mind. He knew that his mother didn't want to take him under her wing, but since his father's death, she had noticed how he had matured from the guilt he felt about what had happened, Not only that, but the looks on other people's faces made him change over time, because as much as Team Z supported him in a moment of difficulty, they couldn't help debating that Gohan had the power to end Android Cell and yet he let it go to his head, an act that resulted in him having his arm brutally broken and being too weak in battle, which finally resulted in Goku sacrificing himself.

Of course, they didn't say it out loud, but Gohan wasn't stupid and reading people was something he always knew how to do, so noticing that certain thoughts, gossip and arguments always resulted in only him being the flawed party resulted in the true hero's death, making the boy sink even deeper into his depression.

This was something of his own that he never exposed to anyone, thoughts and traumas that made him blame himself for the death of his own father and Cyborg 16, an act that made him feel responsible for becoming the man of the family, responsible for making Mirai Trunks become a Super Saiyan 2, responsible for focusing exactly 10 hours a day studying at home and 10 hours training with Piccolo.

In the midst of so many responsibilities, Chichi, his mother, was the one who allowed Cyborg 18 and another orange-haired alien to come and live on their farm, because according to Gohan it was to keep an eye on them, while for Chichi, it served as something to stop Gohan from studying and training exhaustively every day, Since this was taking its toll on him and he needed to relax, the three of them became close friends with Bulma with the sole focus of keeping Gohan healthy and mentally stable, and they realized that this was occupying him, since stopping him was almost impossible.

Gohan always wanted to make it clear that he was fine and that everything he did was to keep everyone safe, as he hadn't been able to in the past, and that he only trained exhaustively in order not to let any other enemy escape unpunished, perhaps in the past he could have relaxed a little in training and when he battled Bojack he would have had extreme difficulty, but no, something had changed before that, Perhaps it was the guilt of his father's sacrifice or perhaps his warrior side speaking louder, but when Gohan arrived for battle and sensed everyone's true intentions, he realized that only one being there had any hope of redemption, so he annihilated all the villains one by one in his Super Saiyan 2 phase and saved Zangya who had been used as bait by his own team.

It was there that Chichi and Bulma understood how Gohan now acted, he was training and studying without rest in order to do with villains what he had done with Bojack and his team, a kind of warning to all beings watching the confrontation, a warning that the earth had a protector and anyone who threatened it would suffer the same fate, But it also served as a warning to the innocent or those who regretted their actions, that Gohan would welcome them with open arms in their redemption, like Zangya, who from then on lived on the farm with Chichi, Cyborg 18 and even Bulma, who always found a home in the midst of the many arguments and fights she had with Vegeta.

But now it was different, now Gohan was entering a new stage of his life and pursuing the ordinary life of a high school student, carrying only capsules of food, drink, clothes, seeds from the gods and his primary virtual wallet, a gift from Bulma who stored all of Chichi and Gohan's monetary wealth in their bank.

He didn't want to live in a dormitory for three years, he might have been a bit selfish in that sense, but he had a whole routine of training, meditation and his own solitary style that he wanted to maintain, where a dormitory at his school would restrict such freedoms.

That is its only focus:

- "A house... where am I going to buy a fucking house?" - Gohan thought to himself as he turned to his primary cell phone and typed some information into the internet search. - "I'm going to keep using my own wallet, I want to see what this teacher's plan is... she's a bit sadistic, but she's kind of cute." - He touched his blazer pocket, as he felt the secondary cell phone he now had, the one he received in class as all students did.

[ ... ]

After the break, Gohan finally returned to the classroom. He looked around and saw that a lot of groups had already formed, with only a few loners scattered around the class.

They discussed trivial matters such as what they would do in the second break, what they would buy with the money they had received for free, some others were already splurging that they had spent 80% of the money on computers or video games, accessories, clothes, and just like that Gohan sighed as he turned his gaze to the front, where his teacher had finally arrived and was looking superior to the whole cheerful atmosphere of the class.

- You're pitiful. - A girl from the desk next to him said with a serious look on her face.

- Really? - Gohan replied. - I don't see any of your friends fawning all over you.

- Of course, I'd rather be alone than surrounded by "friends" who only want to know me for my father.

- It makes sense... and who are you supposed to be? - Gohan asked sincerely as he couldn't remember who the girl was, which shouldn't have been the right thing to say given the angry look she gave him.

- Satan Videl, daughter of Mr. Satan... better not forget.

- Hnpf... for someone who doesn't want to be surrounded by daddy's sycophants... you sure like presenting yourself as his little girl, don't you? - Gohan laughed weakly, returning his attention to the front where the second lesson with Chabashira Sae was finally continuing.

In itself, it wasn't a lesson focused on the subject, but rather a rereading and revision of the entire rule book in this introduction that lasted a long time.

A bit monotonous, with Gohan simply letting his thoughts wander as time passed and the lesson drew to a close.

- Well, that's it for today... as you may have understood, our class system is geared towards five one-and-a-half hour subjects a day, with two one-and-a-half hour breaks, resulting in ten-and-a-half hours here at the school, outside of which everyone is free to rest and take advantage of our establishments and clubs that they join at will. - Sae explained, closing the rule book. - Today you are free with just these two introductory classes, so that you have enough time to get situated and organize the places where you will be living from today onwards, we also have a table with times available for visits from relatives and friends here on our campus, so study all of this well, because from tomorrow our class routine will start in full swing. - Finally, the teacher, who had used her levitation skills to carry all her materials to the door, took one last look around the room, fixing her gaze on Gohan, who winked with a feigned smile, which made her blush and then hurry away.

- "Well, I guess I should furnish where I'm going to live... damn, that's going to be a lot of work." - Gohan thought as he walked out of the room, leaving everyone behind without even trying to get along with anyone, unlike everyone else who was already debating what they were going to spend from now on.

[ ... ]

And so the real start of school for all elementary, middle and high school students took place. Most high school students decided to make the most of their break and end-of-school periods, joining clubs that had more to do with each of them, getting together in groups to go to karaoke, cinemas, theaters, bowling alleys, snooker and everything else.

Without thinking too much about anything, each of us spent the balance of 1,000 points, some in a day, others more cleverly rationed over the month, but still spending without thinking too much about anything.

Classes started every morning at 07:30 and finished at 18:00. In general, it was like a job - you had your own timetable, you punched in and out of classes and breaks using digital biometrics, you got along with your classmates and listened to the explanations for each class, with teacher Chabashira Sae being the class leader of the first-year Elite class.

Compared to how she acted with Gohan, she was very tolerant of everything, every conversation, litany and mess... with everyone there believing that, in fact, her hostile attitude towards Gohan was because he was an Elite class Abortion, an act repeated by the students who practically treated him as if he didn't exist and who belittled him when Gohan answered the teacher's questions correctly.

In such a way that conversations, naps, messing around and everything else that children of that age did were carried out without any restrictions from the teacher or any member of the student council.

Gohan had also noticed that he had become the target of looks from Videl, Rias and Akeno, who didn't approach him, but who sensed that he could catch the attention of each of them, he didn't understand why, but he didn't care since none of them approached him and he wouldn't do it in response for no reason.

Things like friendship and groups were something Gohan didn't try to strive for at all, both because of the way everyone treated him and the fact that he didn't have time for them, because inside the classroom he studied as he always had at home and outside he went home to train everything he had always trained with Piccolo in recent years, keeping his potential sharp and going beyond it day after day so as not to stagnate and end up letting others suffer, as he had allowed in the past because of his incompetence in not defeating the enemy once and for all.

[ ... ]

{ February 01 }

A month of classes have finished, everyone is anxious for their paychecks, which were due at 06:00, but so far almost everyone's balance is zero.

The buzz of students debating this was remarkable, a cloudy day with the risk of a storm had set in that morning, leaving the icy atmosphere and the present cheerful mood of the students disappearing amid debates and theories as to why the payment hadn't fallen through.

Gohan, who was looking at his secondary cell phone, promptly noticed that his balance had been allocated an extra 1,000 points and his gaze immediately focused on what had been used to get him paid... but not the others?

- Sit down. - It was Chabashira Sae who had entered the class under the loud noise of the sliding doors, which slammed to the side, frightening some. - Morning class is about to start.

- Teacher, we haven't earned our points... could there be a problem with the system? - A dark-haired student asked. - It was supposed to go down every first of the month at 06:00, wasn't it?

- No, this month's points have already been duly deposited. - Sae said, crossing his arms. - That's for sure and there's no fault in our system.

- But we didn't win any points! - A brown-haired student replied in annoyance, to the affirmative buzz of everyone around him.

- What a bunch of pathetic idiots you are. - Sae said, smiling as she always did at Gohan, and everyone was surprised by her attitude. - 50 students in class, a total of 100 frequent tardies and absences, 391 cases of talking in class and excessive use of cell phones for petty purposes such as exchanging messages or updating social networks.

- I don't even need to explain the lack of attendance at oral questions and slide activities that weren't handed in during the month, because out of 50 students, only 4 were able to give 100% attendance and attention to the subject. - With every sentence spoken, each student's eyes widened and they realized what the situation was.

- At this school, your grades and performance evaluations are reflected in the monthly points you receive. - Sae dictated, her smile widening even more. - The only free things given by the government are fixed dormitory housing, basic sanitation and electricity... For the rest, things like food, gas, uniforms, textbooks and accessories for use in the classroom or at home, are your total priority and responsibility.

- My assessment of Elite 1-A is that 46 of you were the ones who lost all the 1,000 points they were supposed to receive in February. - Sae dictated to each student holding the cell phone. - The points that 46 of you are receiving for this month... are zero.

- What nonsense, you mean I have to live without money this month? - A student with dyed hair dictated in a shaky voice.

- M-but what the fuck? - Another student said, desperately turning his gaze to his cell phone and restarting the page, where he once again saw his balance zeroed out.

- Did they really think that mere high school students would be fawned over by the government for free? That they would receive 1,000 points a month to spend without any rules on how to continue receiving such aid?

- I'll tell you what nonsense that is, what do you think life is? - Sae said with a sadistic look on her face now. - In the case of us adults, if we did the same as you in our jobs we would be fired with no chance of return, you are still in a golden cradle, because you have security, water and electricity at your disposal to use, apart from the public canteen with three meals a day available and a roof over your head.

- But in general, we're here to train adults and you'll be treated as such from now on, so it's up to you how you organize your spending so that you don't run out of luxuries at the end of the month.

- Just use your common sense, you're not lost children who have lived in poverty, everyone here was born in a golden cradle and has been spoiled by their parents all their lives.

- If they had doubts, why didn't they do anything about them? Why didn't you look for a solution before everything collapsed?

- I said it on the first day of school and I'll say it one more time... this school judges students on merit, not on their status as an Abortion or Elite. - She said, smiling amiably at Gohan. - Of all of you, the only one who understood my setup in the first minute was the person you harass the most here... you think you're clever, you think you're nobility and whatever pathetic ideal you've created in your little sand castle.

- But in the end, they're nothing, the one you harassed and ignored the most was the one who understood things the most and knew how to ration what he had in his hands without being shaken by the system. He's the one who, in a job, would continue to be hired because he demonstrates excellent service, while the rest are just incompetent employees who aren't even good enough to stay for a month on a trial period.

- And one last tip for the look I'm getting from each of you... it doesn't matter which family you come from, nothing will change our system, because your parents knew exactly what contract they were signing. - The teacher said as if the bored and spoiled look on these children only served to make her see them even more as parasites. - Your parents chose to enroll you here so that you could get a reality check and finally grow up decently, because they've spoiled you so much that they can't even re-educate you anymore.

- At the moment, for those who haven't understood yet... it means that 46 of you are worthless. - Sae said, blinking her once kind eyes at Gohan and now turning coldly to each of them. - You're trash and nothing more, find a way to solve your problems outside the classroom, because today we have a lot to revise and the real materials will finally begin after the reality shock you've finally received.

And with that I end the second chapter of Mystic Saiyaman.

I hope you're enjoying it, and don't forget to comment.

Yes, for those who noticed the similarity, I'm inspired by the school system in the anime Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shuji no Kyoushitsu, I really like it, but don't think that Gohan is a copy of Ayanokoji, in fact, far from it.

Gohan, unlike in the anime, here carries traumas in relation to Cyborg 16 and his father who sacrificed themselves against Cell, when he had the power in his hands to defeat him, but played along because he thought he had too much power. And remember, Gohan was a child at the time.

From then on, Gohan matured where he trained day after day and studied day after day, becoming stronger than in the canon and more serious.

Here we also see the result of how it would be if the population knew that it was Goku who defeated Cell, in fact it was Gohan, but he preferred his father to take the credit for the sacrifice and for taking the attention off his back.

In any case, the changes in this fanfic started in the movie where Gohan fights Bojack, only being narrated from the previous chapter, but we have changes like him saving Zangya and so on, Cyborg 18 living with Chichi, and Bulma not having a very healthy relationship with Vegeta.

Anyway, I've said too much, I hope you're enjoying it and send me your ideas about what you want in this initial school life arc, because it's with this arc that I'm inserting events from the Buu saga anime and also from the whole supernatural society that has the first demonic representatives Rias and Akeno.

I look forward to hearing from you all in the comments. XD
