DARKOS
December 9 Afternoon
Today, I am surrounded by a melancholic feelings. Ah! have to mention it even. The clock stroke 10 at night when I, after eating dinner came to my room. Oh I received a letter from Remi He said he is a bit worried in Whitby. Although Whitby is famous for the hull, "the journey to this city is more suspenseful then the destination.", yet the events which incurred to him as he said _were different. Whatever I'll pray for him i was writing back to him when I heard someone sobbing outside my room .It can be my delusion I thought. i could not but went to see if I really heard it. The sobbing was coming from staircase. i tiptoed up the staircase so that I may see who was there. i could see, in nocturnal, a black figure bent on knees and sobbing in the front of the room which was, once, owned by my grandfather. My foot were trembling. My heart stopped beating for a while when I saw my grandmother yes it was she sobbing and bending on her knees. She was mumbling "He'll come here too. Surely, he'll." her face was pale more than ever. I tried to ask her that who will come and why but _ it could imperil her if she saw me here, in a sudden. She stood up with trembling feet, couldn't see me as her back was towards me, and walked slowly to her room. Her face was mysteriously pale and hands were trembling wth weakness or with fear Ah grandmother! what did she know?. There were bunch of questions in my mind. But what could I do except to wait that what the hell was waiting for all of us.
Letter from Ms. Aster Darko to Mr. Remi Darko Edinburg, THE Remi! TIHE
Oh Remi! I am in a deep grief today that i couldn't write you good words Remi. Today, oh my sadness!, we bade farewell to our beloved grandma. Remi! I am in a deep grief on her death, but here is somethin more to mention in this letter, to you. She knew something Remi, I felt it. And..... here death was also suspicious and enigmatic let me tell you all that we faced today. The clock was striking 7 early in the morning when we, me and mom, heard the maid shrieking somewhere in the house. We ran and what did we see Remil there were lying grandma on her bed without any movement in a terrible way. her brown eyes were enlarged enough to have a glimpse of everything there. And her grey- white hair were spread all over the bed. Her face was cnvulsed as it seemed she saw or experienced something worst before her death or something that haunted her. "What has happened here?" my mom shouted as her voice was quivering. I.....I don't know Mrs. Orion. I came here to let her take breakfast but when I entered the room she was..."Said the maid as she was quivering too, on that very moment came Mr. Grace. He hissed as he saw grandma lying in this way "I console" said he. His voice was so low that I could hardly hear it. I turned back to see whether he was whimpering.
Mom is so worried after her death. She said that she will call Mr.Wrett According to her, the grandma's death holds something very arcane in it. She was better till today. Her sudden death cannot be ignored. Remil write me as soon as you go to father. He
is busy in Helmsley didn't write to us. I am missing him so much

10:00 pm
Received letter from Kaida today. Mom's death broke me from inside. My heart is not beating rather shrieking. I don't decry on her fate but anyways. Today is so melancholic to me. Remi is staying in Whitby. He'll be here soon Today Mr. Steward came. He was my father's employ and also became his business partner invited him so that he mat tell me something about father which will help me to unkennel all tha secrets that lie in his death. He is affable but a solemn man. His small, fat- rounded eyes and wide brownish lips make him look more solemn, It was 2 pm when the door was knocked. I opened the door. Oh! Orion I can't tell you how fine it is to see you here, in Helmsley.
Whenever I see you, it seems to me that you are a good reflection of your father." Said he, his brown eyes were twinkling and were looking so ebullient. Come in Mr. Steward. You brought hope to me." Greeted I. He came inside, took a glimpse of everything. Her small, fat hands stopped on very points but when he saw a picture of my father with Mr. Grace, his eyes squinted "Who is he in the pic, left to your father, Orion?" Asked he as his eyes were fixed on me as he was keenly waiting for My answer "His friend we can say our family friend, Mr.Steward. Is there something trivial regarding him?" Inquested I "Say! It seemed to me that I have met him ling agobut couldn't recognize him. He I think belongs to Edinburgh. Isn't he?" Said he couldn't control my guffaw. "Me too, Mr. Steward! Said I. He sneaked on my guffaw
and then said "Oh yep you too you know Orion old brain." Said he, his demeanor was of appology "Say! which errand bought you here ?" Asked he as he saw a tempestuous weather outside hürriedly and then I could hear a snirp of him with a tea. "You know Mr. Stewood, after father's death, I came here to see his business because I decided to shift it to Edinburgh and manage it there, surely, with my son Remi." explained I "but, here I happened to see very suspicious things. The worst of the is the letter I found in father 's room when I went there to see some documents regarding this errand" I handed a letter to him. He curled him up in the chair and then read it. There was a long span of silence in the room. Finally, he wriggled and then started "it is scribbled so that we may not recognize the writer. But..." Interrupted | "Mr. Steward! I'll ask a single question from you and I would certainly, not like ti hear any obscure reply. according to this letter, yes, it is crystal clear that the person who sent this to father is involved n his death. But, that's not the only fact I ejaculated from it. There is I can't affirm but there is something in which my father and the sender were involved altogether, long ago. "it is the very reason I called you here, for that if you know anything about it."
Mr. Steward wriggled once again, relaxed himself from his curled up position and then finally initiated "Orion, I must admit before I initiate my narrative, that before two years of Mr. Raven's death, I left him and started my own business here, in Helmsley. Certainly you will ask now that why did I do so ?" Said he as he saw my pricked up gesture" So the answer to that question is that the strained and uncongenial demeanor of him didn't let us work anymore." I was startled. My father was not like that illustration that Mr. Steward offered to me "What do you call 'strained and uncongenial demeanor'?" inquested I "Say! he became to keep me out of business errands. He said "I'll not explain you everything Steward. We are partners. Invest and take rest" to me when I asked him the reason one day." Said Mr. Steward
"Nope except his mercurial behavior"
"Tried to find out?"
"Any other reason that you might observed?"
"Nope"
"Why?"
"Mr. Orion, those days I were trying to take my family from Gothland to Helmsley. It was rueful to me that instead of giving me a hand for undoing it, my partner became perfidious to me. So i don't had a time to find out the reason of his demeanor_ rather initiated my own business in Helmsley." He stood up as the weather was also becoming crispy and misty outside." Mr. Steward you helped me much. let me bade you farewell." Also stood I, greeted him and after closing the door after him I went to the living room. Now I am in a quest of these all am waiting for Remi so that we may progress our endeavors together Now. I am feeling tired. Goodnight!
