Laying the ground work [I]
For Julius time moved in blur, his skills grew at a rate that people would call monstrous and inhuman but he couldn't compare to his Boss, He was another thing altogether these past two months.
At the first island they landed they procured a few extra crew members that fulfilled the requirements they had had discussed beforehand, with the extra hands available they began to gather supplies for their travels…by pillaging the local blackmarket and threatening the boss who controlled everything and making sure he wouldn't cause problems later on down the line.
Now they had technology to store fruits and foods that would have perished far too soon, by purchasing the required items they had a running bath available in their ship as well which was a huge relief to be honest. Boss seemed to agree as he disappeared on the island to do some private training, He had an idea of what he did those three days that he didn't return. The few hills that they had seen when they had arrived suddenly erupted into rubble and smoke while he was checking the crow’s nest one day.
All he had seen was a red and black lighting that crackled like a bomb going off and the hill was nothing more than a gaping hole on the place where the hill was once. That's what happened to the second and the third hill as well, they became holes…
Once their navigation log pose finally decided they had wasted enough time as well and pointed to their next destination…
The next island was a hellhole! Beasts reigned supreme and no sign of humanity could be found in the death-trap they had landed…at least that was what had been his thought-process when he had to run and try to survive while they conducted a training Montage that their captain called “Good learning experiences for what's to come!”
But…that's where his ability bloomed to its full potential, his growth in stamina and strength hit the peak while he was fighting against monstrous beasts that would give giants a run for their berries. He achieved such a Mastery of his fruit that he didn't think possible, paper clones that looked identical to himself, paper golems that were made with the hardest paper he could make which was by the way Folded paper! After he achieved a Mastery of these two advanced skills he was able to track his Boss who had been busy doing his own training against the biggest fiercest monsters he had seen and fought, titan-boa-centipedes, Iron-armor-scorpions, super-gorillas with steely fists that tore at the ground as if it was Paper.
When he arrived in this battlefield he had found his boss punching and kicking against beasts a hundred times his size and yet he was clearly winning judging by the pained noises escaping the fucking beasts. He didn't kill them though, nono he challenged them to try and beat him.
That was the longest two weeks they had stayed in one place, so many discoveries were made and he had bonded with the rest of the fifteen crew members they had picked up, each playing a vital part in increasing their lethality after they left the “island of discoveries” as they had started calling it. “A home far from home”, they had been able to become friends with the local Fauna by that point which resulted in them coming to see them off when they left…he Could swear a few of them were crying tears when the ship began sailing away.
The weirder one somehow was again his captain who was yelling at them “to be careful of the navy bastards if they find their island” before they left and the titanic sized animals seemed to understand what he was telling them with a few of them looking at each other with malicious smiles on their faces…he had a feeling this island would be even more lethal by the time they had arrived the next island.
That became a recurring theme of what they did until the two months time finally arrived and they anchored on the port of Alabasta Kingdom. For some reason their captain was even more serious than he had been during their training and explicitly ordered them to not make a scene at all costs.
His instincts were acting up the moment they touched the dry sands of alubarna. He swore under his breath when he saw a certain infamous rookie who has become very famous in his home sea for his wild and unpredictable luck of coming across plots.
His boss's words sent his instincts into overdrive by that point. What comes next will make us all rich and allow us to purchase a new stronger ship handcrafted for surviving the wild waters of the New World.
And somehow as if seeing the future, his captain was right, they traveled the desert and found a cave that hid a large blue stone cube which his boss was very interested it into to the point he pulled a large piece of paper out of…his pocket and with the help of some ink that he spread all over the rock with the indescribable words he copied the inscriptions. He said that it will be a bargain chip in the future when they meet a “certain someone.”
They returned back to the ship after a couple of days of making business with the locals for some exotic perfumes and herbs not found anywhere else and sailed away, in the distance they saw the Straw hats make a mockery of the navy before their log pose pointed them into a new direction.
Dark seas and Stormy skies that is how he could explain the place their log pose had sent them too. A very dangerous part of the Grand Line judging by the aggressive sea monsters and the debris falling from the sky-is that a ship falling down?!

“Prepare the equipment we have made boys, we will go down there and pull up some actual treasure.” Marius declared vigorously, he had crafted a mechanical winch with some of the stuff he found, stolen and bought these past two months for this exact reason. Even though the sea was very dark in this area he could actually see the deepest part whenever lighting struck down! That is not easy to do in his world, let alone in the fucking one piece!
“Are you sure it is safe, captain? There are dangerous sea monsters lurking into dark depths.” One of his newest crew members asked concernedly, he was of the long-arm tribe and they are well known for their paranoid nature.
“Worry not, I will be the first to go and check it out, then the five best swimmers will join me on the treasure hunt, the rest of you follow Julius instructions with the foam-platforms we will be using to help the winch pull up everything we may find down there. This is a chance we may never ever get without a specialized log pose, boys and girls, to find an area where stuff falls from the sky islands is nearly impossible without being attacked by roaming treasure hunters like in Jaya.” He explained, he opened a few crates the paper golems of Julius brought and pulled out a self-made diver’s suit he had crafted with his own two hands for future endeavors he had planned.
“Now I want you to remember this carefully, this tube is our lifeline so we will need to make sure it is safe all the way to the ground below understood?” Seeing them nod, he slapped another crate and tore the wooden lid with a sweep of his hand to reveal purple fishes left to rot.” These are going to be tied every five meters with a tube, it will scare away any sea kings with how much oil they secrete that will smell like someone shat diarrhea on their noses. Of course you will also get a trident as well, just in case we come across…unwanted life down there.”
The crew nodded and spread all over the ship to prepare everything while he started putting on the diver's suit piece by piece while locking everything with the most powerful sap he had ever found. It was strong enough to keep a five hundred meters tall tree from fully breaking even though he had punched a good chunk of it, it stood straight thanks to the sticky stuff it had formed over the area of the missing chunk.
Once he had the body suit secured, he pulled out the head-gear out of a different container box that was secured with wool and clothes to prevent the more delicate equipment from breaking during a random Grandline weather event.
He went to the second smaller winch which was connected to a primitive air-pump that would push oxygen down and connected one of the tubes to his head gear and locked it in place with a metal bracket he had stolen from a ship in Alabasta Kingdom.
“Well then I am ready, if I pull the rope once it's safe, if I pull it multiple times it isn't safe.” He stated, tying the rope around his abdomen and grabbed the anchor of the ship with one hand and jumped into the sea with a loud splash.
“He really isn't scared of anything huh.” Julius whispered, observing the thick rope of the anchor continuously fall into the depths with his captain hugging the heavy object.
“One hundred meters.” One of the crew members, Andre, the giant-blooded man they had picked up on the rough-stone island stated as the winch continued to spin fast.”hundred and fifty meters, the winch is slowing down.”
“two hundred meters.”
Silence followed as they all tensed in preparation, Julius began making paper platforms to be used for flying close to the sea to lock the foam-platforms together.
“Two hundred and eighty five meters, the winch is not rotating any more. That means the captain has hit the ground.” The giant-man walked to the crates and began placing the only giant-sized diver suit on, thankfully it was made with an incredibly-elastic rubber-like material they had bought from the black-market. It was the same material which the navy-giants used for their clothes.”I will go next, you guys start placing the precaution in place.”
They observed the thin rope tense once and sighed in Relief when none followed The first tug and began putting the suits on.
“It seems we are in luck, the sea may look dangerous from up there but the deeper you go the calmer it is, the currents aren't dangerous nor are there any suspicious movements of sea-kings-” the giant-man shouted from foam-Platform he was staying, the best part of the diver's suit was that the head gear could be removed quite easily.
He was interrupted by a wooden crate breaking the surface of the sea with a loud splash. Somehow their captain had been able to send this-
A second crate, then a third and a fourth followed in its steps. The wood seemed to have not been touched by the water at all and had been preserved rather well.
“He wasn't lying, quick pull those crates in the ship and go join him down there!” Julius ordered, he began making a few more golems just in case they needed the extra hands when all the divers had joined the Captain.
The crew didn't need to be told anything else, the ones who were meant to go down jumped into the ocean and disappeared beneath the waves while the rest threw hooks and began pulling the crates carefully into the ship.
Suddenly the ocean Rumbled, the calm sea suddenly became turbulent as a black lighting flew above like a lightning bolt which tore at the clouds briefly, revealing the hidden sun.
Julius stared unfazed at the turbulent sea and prepared to throw a folded paper-star if anything surfaced. Before he did anything he waved his hand at the crew to step back from the rails, pointing his open palm at the place where the water was the most chaotic he created many paper stacks and began folding them all together and repeated theoroces until he had five stacked-stars floating around himself.
The surface was broken by a large amount of bubbles that signified something heavy and big soon to leave the sea, a large dark shape became visible then with loud bang something came out.
“The fuck is that thing?!” A tall Woman in an overcoat asked, disgust all over her face as she stared at the corpse of some weird sea king.
“That is our food for tonight.” Replied their boss, somehow he had swam from the depths to the surface just as the corpse floated up.”I bet it will go excellently with some sake, pull it up.”
Julius didn't wait for his captain to ask for a lift and dispatched one of his paper platforms to get him out of the sea.
One of the paper stars unfolded into a wide paper platform and flew directly towards Marius and stood still in place, a few centimeters above the sea it stood there until marius grasped the platform as if it was solid and allowed julius to pull him up and into the deck where he proceed to carefully untie all the gold he had found into the shipwreck he followed to the depths.
“This gold is very pure Captain, I bet we can earn a pretty penny if we sell it to the local Gem island which should incidentally be one island away from jaya.” remarked one of the men who used to work as a scammer in the rock-bottom island…yes that's what it was called.
“I bet it is, the metal chest was very hard for me to pry open even with all my strength it didn't want to budge to the very last moment until I decided to use this.” He murmured softly, his hands turning black with sparks of black lighting coating them.”a skill I only learned to use properly when we were training with the land beasties, [emission] allowed me to break through easily.”
‘Imagine what [internal destruction] could accomplish…I can only imagine what individuals such as Rayleigh have achieved in their prime.’ He thought to himself, there had been an aching feeling on the back of his mind ever since he left the beast island…aching for battle.
He understands now why luffy is such a crack-head all the time, the feeling of adrenaline coursing through your veins, the beating of your heart sounding like a war horn to the ears, your veins tingling from the blood traveling inside you…it's something which calls to him each time, a desire to Crush, break and dominate!
“We will create an eternal pose for this very location, go fetch me one of the rotating ones, the sea level here is within the borders of possibility and I can always just swim to the place where The stuff is located. We just have to leave the pose in a secure enough place to stay still for 24 hours before it locks into place.” He ordered the Only woman in the crew, she was the navigator after all.
In the background, three taller-than usual giant humans had hooked the strange sea-monster and were carefully pulling it towards the ship with the help of the winch that had been installed for towing titanic sized objects…they didn't know why the captain would need such a expensive equipment used for pulling stuff out of the sea but they didn't question him, “Captain's orders must not be questioned no matter how insane they may sound” its saying used quite frequently in the grandline where the weather was so random and dangerous.
Plus they were paid a nice sum of money if they did their job, a monthly payment was to be expected, 100.000 berries a month was what they earned, a pretty nice wage even for a navy soldier which forfeits his life once they sign up while they only have to bow their heads to their scary yet rich boss and his first-mate devil-fruit user who can tear limbs with paper weapons.
“ALRIGHT BOYS GRAB THOSE TENTACLES AND PULL. I AM GONNA CUT THEM AND BEGIN GRILLING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.” The cook of the crew roared youthfully, he was also a giant-blooded but not to the scale of the three who were pulling the amphibian-kraken out from the sea.
“Gustav is full of vigor as usual.” Murmured one of the Giant men to his fellows.
“What did you expect? He was tame when he joined but after living with the captain and his insane training regime he became just like him, a Lunatic.” Replied Reylif, He was the second tallest in the crew after the helmsman who was still deep into the sea making sure the secured treasures did not slip through the net they were using to pull them up.
“Have you forgotten what we have been doing these past months Rey? Don't be hypocritical, you are just as nuts as the rest of the crew barring the Boss of course…nobody can surpass him on that front.” Retorted the third One, he was called Armstrong because his arms were strong and in his island he was infamously known from his inhuman strength which had gotten him recruited by the passing “treasure hunters Guild” as they were officially known, they were no pirates, just treasure hunters of course…pillaging the scums of the sea doesn't count as piracy.
“Rey is delusional, he has no grounds for speaking about lunacy when he just recently befriended a giant six-legged bear the size of the town hall back in my home and was even conversing with it like he understood what the grunts and growls meant.” deadpanned Legias, he chuckled at the expression his fellow Giant-blooded crew member made.
“Fuck off Legias.”
“Hah! See no grounds at all!”
“That island was strange even by grandline standards, honestly I had never heard about such a place.”
“Well if that island was strange to you I wonder what you would think of a sky-island.” At those words the three giant men froze in place and turned slowly to their captain.
He definitely had some Giant's blood in him, he was tall for a Human, standing at an intimidating 2.80 meters and built like a tank he had quite the presence even for them who were each above four meters tall…and that was without the ever present pressure he exuded that had their hairs stand up.
“So the tales are real huh, My Ma used to read me stories when I was kid but I always chalk it up as a made-up tale to satisfy a kid's imagination.”
“My dear crew, for the past eight-hundred years nobody had been able to get up there barring a few special cases. Treasure awaits us and something calls at me to get there as soon as possible…but first we have to find a knock up stream which blasts at the predictable interval to safely push us up there.” The boss replied mysteriously, the lighting strike reflecting on his eyes which hinted at something they weren't aware off.
‘Enel, I will harvest your fruit from your dying corpse and eat it for myself. With it the possibilities are endless and the future possible to forge.”

Twenty four hours and thirty minutes later the eternal pose did actually lock into the exact underground mountain where all wrecks of falling ships landed, its magnetic field was strong enough to attract the log pose for it to fulfill the conditions to stay forever pointing in one direction.
He did not understand how that for sure, he had a feeling that it was related to the intricate magic system this verse worked with to make everything possible.
On an unrelated note he found a stone tablet down there…and it wasn't a poneglyph that's for sure because he understood what was carved on the marble…
A twisted version of the flying hoof surrounding a pentagram circle with the unmistakable visage of the Devil himself in the Middle..he had seen that same magic circle on the anime and the manga of one piece, the place where brook landed and all over the five Elders council room carved on gold.
“The Devil huh…” He muttered to himself, he was alone in his quarters with a closed bottle in front of him that had a skull carved on glass of the bottle.
One of the many things sealed within the waterproof boxes he had pulled carefully from the depths of an ancient ship that had miraculously not rotted to the point of being unsalvageable when he gets a bigger ship with a modern crane system to pull even more heavier stuff out.
There was a lot of…stuff that he couldn't pull up without ruining that beautiful wonder of woodworking. Not like he has the capacity to transport a whole trove of sail-sized stone tablets without straining the keel of his poor ship.
“So much to do and so little resources to spare without locking myself in one place which would attract the attention of those conspiring motherfuckers hiding atop the red line.” His mind once more began scheming, all he had to do is kick Enel’s ass without his fruit falling into the hands of a random mob, honestly he didn't want to go on a bloody genocide to procure that logia devil fruit, he has a feeling those winged hippies will play a special role down the line.
“If I can get my hands on the Rumble Rumble fruit I will be able to breach the gap and attain a level of power that can match or even surpass the tyrant's slaves.” Marius thought, with his mind made up he opened the bottle and carefully pulled the paper out to see what's written on it.
It was a map of sorts, yet the dimensions were all wrong as if it had been stretched and distorted by someone and then allowed to keep its shape even though it shouldn't have the required foundations to stay in such a shape.
“It looks strangely like the great prison Impel down but turned upside down and stretched sideways?” I will keep it for now and if I cross paths with them again I will ask Franky about it.
He stood up and placed the bottle once more into the place where the delicate goods were stored and proceeded to walk out of the room into the deck where he saw a great knock up stream blast into the sky.
“They seem even bigger when you see it yourself.” He couldn't help but let his inner fan speak out from time to time.
“Boss, we are ready for the journey, all the boxes have been locked and secured. The ship is ready to take a fall should we be blasted more than we may have predicted.” His trusted shipwright declared, He had found this giant of a man into a harbor working as a repairman for anything made of wood and metal, he was that Good even by his standards. He could bend steel and even grab the heated metal barehanded without any sign of burning, a superhuman feat without a devil-fruit, he had checked to make sure after he saw Gariald shape a metal like it was a pancake.
He was also loyal to him to the point he was concerned that there might be something at play at first, which was squashed when he got him drunk and he spilled the beans and just like luffy it seems there was something at play here which he didn't care to question.
Let's get back to the current journey, The man had kept his word, He had placed parachutes in the key places where he can then control the ship with his powerful mountain breaking punches that cause natural-disasters should he feel like it.
Hah suck it up garp, You aren't the only one who can punch the sea and throw the ship into the air!
“Then what are we waiting for? We got a new location to discover and search for treasures, no?! Full speed Ahead!” Marius commanded, his vigorous declaration spurred his crew to work with such zeal that had him wonder if his Conqueror's Haki had something to do with it or somehow he had rolled a Good dice one Charisma.
“AYE AYE CAPTAIN!!!”They shouted collectively with zeal, the helmsman directed the ship towards the building water knock up stream.
“Activating the paddling engine!” Shouted Ragin from below, the two wheels at the back of the ship began rotating slowly building up speed, even though he knew how a steam powered engine worked he didn't have the resources to rebuilt with better materials and had to settle with “lightly upgrading” it which translatez into an increase of 75% performance and decrease of coal consumption thanks to his memory which he was proud off.
‘Thank you Wikipedia, you truly are the savior of my adventure on this insane verse where logic and sanity have no place.’ He thanked the largest source of information stored in the internet which held a comprehensive design along the theoretical knowledge required to build a “primitive” engine with scrap metals and wood or rebuilt one.
“Truly in this world steam is king when water is everywhere no?” He stated.
The ship had built up the required momentum to climb the “water mountain”. It stood there for a moment, time seemed to stop for just a second before reality reasserted itself and the building knock up stream Exploded into a watery geyser that flung the ship into the air faster than any man-made engine could ever hope to achieve which was quite impressive.
One thousand meters, then five thousand, the knock up stream did not lose any Power until he felt the air thin and his lungs seemed to adapt to the scarce Oxygen which signaled they were close to their “Landing” place judging by the white clouds that blocked his sight.
“HERE WE ARE PEOPLE! PREPARE FOR A SUDDEN CHANGE OF AIR PRESSURE, DEEP BREATHS AND BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU STEP!” He Informed, he was the only who was still standing upright while the rest were holding the rails and unto the mast for dear life.
They haven't yet noticed the thinning Oxygen, so focused on surviving their bodies coursing with adrenaline which allowed their bodies to cope with the sudden change of their environment.

In a different place of the exact island they were about to land, the straw hats were doing what they did best, causing chaos and pulling out the big bad from his lair. Thankfully they were still dealing with the priests of Enel and haven't progressed enough with their story which allowed our treasure hunting guild to rapidly make way into the confused battlefield that couldn't spare more manpower from the deteriorating war.
With the help of the paddling our protagonist was able to make his way to the area where he remembered from the anime which would allow him to get to the “upper land” without dealing with the “guardian”.
How you may ask? Why of course with the help of Julius and his (paper platforms) the ship was able to make way into the place where the “God” resided, the only area where the most vearth could be found...sometimes Marius wished he was cruel enough to massacre everything that stood in his way but his parents hadn't raised a monster.
With the paper platforms propelling them forward, they made way towards the giant bean jack and prepared for the eventual clash, flashes of lighting and screams were a signal that the protagonist had already made his way into the hidden lair of the Eminem-knock off.
“Land it over there Julius.” He ordered, pointing at the area where they could achieve the same launch they used to fling them here, the cloud balls held more then just traps if one was creative enough which he was of course.
“Aye boss, Men prepare for landing!” Julius replied, He didn't show any sign of tiring on his face, his growth had boosted his control and stamina to cope with strenuous exercises like this.
The ship glided down and landed on the white beach where they would make anchorage, everyone let out a sigh of relief once they stepped on solid ground. Flying and then gliding in the air was something they had never done before.
“Man that was stressful and I am a grandliner, I can survive anything the sea can throw at me but flying isn't for me.” Rey complained, he didn't feel comfortable at all doing such insane things.
“I want you all to keep quiet and speak only when needed, the Man who rules this place has observation haki and his range is extended by a devil fruit ability.” Marius ordered, he signaled them to shut up and pointed at something in front of them…Gold.
Silent Gasps left the mouths of his crew where they laid their eyes on the gold pillars and other such buildings.
“Stay here while I am gone to get something I need from here. Julius you are in command, use the stuff I gave you carefully if a tall blonde guy with long ears appears suddenly.” He hastily ordered before kicking the ground with enough force to launch himself at meteoric speeds in the sky, he hadn't yet made progress with gēppo but no time like the present to learn it.
He tried kicking the air with powerful kicks only to fail, then he tried again and again until he felt a brief burst of air push on his toes which gave him insight on how this technique worked, you have to push downwardly not kick like a fucking mule.
As his speed slowed down and he began to free fall towards the clouds, he came to sudden realization. If he didn't learn this skill fast he will free fall ten thousand meters into the fucking ocean and probably die upon impact.
He tried once more, pushing like his life depended on it and feeling resistance below him which propelled him slightly up, then his feet blurred when he coated them with haki and he launched himself like a rocket forward.
“Oh yeah I can cheat it with haki. I am such a dumbass sometimes.” He laughed at himself, how could he forget that haki boosted his physical capabilities to breach the gap required to accomplish techniques which required precise muscle control and monstrous force.
“Lets not forget about these also.” He reminded himself, his hands coating in black armor willed into existence through sheer willpower and determination to succeed with his dream.
And as if had planned the entire thing, Enel was in the process of getting his ass handled by the Nika fruit user which was also the fucking protagonist.
“Fate really conspired to have this Man feel the wrath of an actual God eh?” Marius murmured to himself, spying the rubber-man twisted his golden encased arm into a spring ready to crack a logia into two if only he had haki.
Fool armed his natural enemy with a weapon that will cancel his own power, fucking idiot, should have encased the monkey from head to toe in gold and asphyxiate him to death.
“Gomu gomu no…Golden rifle!” and that was his cue to make way to the golden bell and catch his prey with his pants down.
In a couple of powerful thrusts of his black-coated legs he arrived barely a few seconds before the golden encased fists rang the bell and rang it…which had him stumble when the entire thing began turning and eventually fell towards the ground.
The body of Enel fell along with it until he grabbed the logia by the feet and hauled his ass towards the Forest, his hand firmly grasping him by the neck. He felt the heartbeat and sighed in relief, he didn't die which gives him more opportunities to collect more fruits to make sure the Rumble Rumble fruit is within his grasp. He made sure to fill his containers full of all sorts of fruits to bridge the possibility of the fruit appearing in his ship and not in a random location in the forest.
He spared one last look at the maxim, without enel atop it, power will be consumed and it will fall down to the forest. While modern in design by the one piece standards it was trash that required a living battery to keep it working which didn't suit his purpose at all.
He felt his prisoner stir, lighting coursing on the skin of the logia user before he tighten his grasp and squeezed the air pipe until he felt the muscle weaken enough to breathe a sigh a relief, he was close to his ship which made him think how he will explain what he was about to do without making a scene then an idea came to his mind.
.

“I found what had been calling at me, This dipshit has eaten it which complicates things but it is still possible to get it back.” He stated to his curious Crew, they were looking at the strange man he had on his shoulder.
“Here is the encyclopedia boss, I also made sure to spread the fruits you asked for.” Julius interjected, only he was aware of what he was going to do and which fruit actually would be reincarnating.
He opened the old devil encyclopedia that he had taken from the black market and began searching its pages for the related fruit he needed, apple, banana, peach…and Mango, the only logia he knew had yet to make an appearance, the power of turning into an element that would ruin the setting of one piece which is why oda never brought it even in the movies. The clay clay fruit, when used in concert with the sand sand fruit can reshape the whole world. And with that piece of information all related powers and their origin fruits were accounted for which left only one course of action.
“Until I am done with my project you are to guard the ship and collect any treasure you may find around.” He ordered and began walking to the ship with an unconscious body being dragged like a sack of potatoes.
“He is gonna kill him?” The helmsman asked the question they all had in their mind.
“Yes. Now spread around and begin collecting, we need money to get a bigger ship remember?” Replied Julius, rolling his eyes at their curious gazes.
The captain wants to be alone because one of these fools may be tempted to get the fruit for themselves which is why he made sure none of them would enter the ship without his say so.
He heard a brief pulse for a moment before silence reigned once more, the constant noise in the background wasn't there anymore as if the fruit power of the downed man had been creating it even when he was unconscious.
.
.
.
“I know you are awake Enel, stop pretending and get up before I decide to gut you like a fish.” Marius stated calmly, he had tied him and placed sea stone cuffs on his arms.
Silence reigned for a moment until the unconscious man opened his eyes, no longer were they the previous rage filled pits they had been, now nothing but embers remained which reminded Marius of the psychological effect Monkey D luffy has on his former foes.
“What is it that you want from me, stranger? You appeared from out of nowhere while I was fighting against my natural enemy…” Enel replied, a hint of fear and defeat tinging his words as he gazed at the white clothed man, the Sun emblem stood out from the ritualistic clothes he wore.
“Look around you and you will understand what is about to go down.” Marius smiled ominously as he spread his arms around.
Enel turned his head around and saw mountains of fruits, no not fruits, One type of fruit he remembers very well. His source of power and confidence, his fruit's vessel before he ate it.
“Yes, what you are thinking Is correct. I plan to harvest your power for myself.” The white-wearing Giant of a man confirmed.
“No-gurk?!” Enel tried to use his power but he couldn't even summon one volt let alone his intangibility.
“Those cuffs are used to keep devil fruit users from being nuisances back in the blue sea, they are convenient for what I require but its not like I need them to beat you to an inch of your life barehanded.”He replied, hia hands turning black with black lighting coating the place where haki was applied.”I can use Haki to break your neck and tear your heart from your chest but I don't want to taint my ship with the smell of blood when I can just do this.”
He unsheathed a simple sword from its sheath and stood over Enel's prone body.
“Your sacrifice will be for the good of the World, as a Believer of Nika the Sun God, warrior of liberation and a D I humbly accept the burden of duty, goodbye Enel.” He didn't allow Enel any second to speak after he stated before decapitating him with a single swing.
The shocked expression of Enel stood permanent even in death.
“Now we wait.” Marius stood in place and observed if something left the body, he had seen how the fruit didn't leave luffy even when he “died” two times, once during the operation by Trafalgar Law and the second during the haki-empowered attack by Kaido.
One minute into waiting he was able to see an invisible flash, it was very fast and nearly untraceable if you weren't fully focused on the body. The body of Enel seemed to lose the “special” effect at that moment. It was no longer the empowered vessel of an Incarnate-God but a mere mortal corpse.
“So that is how huh.” He spied one of the fruits morphing into a devil fruit, lighting seemingly cultivating within awaiting a Worthy user.
“Well at last I know that it works flawlessly. Now remove any trace of my little experiment before someone learns of the secret.” He went towards the fruit and actually felt a connection with it, somehow this fruit wanted him to eat it.
He grabbed, the lighting which coated the fruit seemed to be more of a cosmetic effect then anything else and brought it to his m
outh.
“For the future and survival I guess.” He declared before he took a large bite of the fruit and gulped down before he instinctively vomited from the absolutely disgusting taste of burned ash and liquid glass now stuck in his tongue.
“Fuck they weren't joking, this shit is disgusting.”
