A day before X and the others discharge from the hospital

"This isn't to be taken lightly" A man said with anger as he sat at a long table in a closed off conference room located at one of the offices of Mili+ary, he sits in front of a woman who scoffs at him "That's funny, wasn't one of your man the one that allowed them to walk free" she said with a smirk.

The man slams his fist on the table "he's being taken care of as we speak" he grunts as he turns to the man sitting on the edge of the table. "Sir, I understand your view on this matter, but to let outsiders into our ranks?" The man says with disbelief.

"I for one agree with the commander on this, we are able to use outsiders to do our dirty work while our mans are in the safety of our lands. This is an opportunity that idiots like you can't see" she says as she sides eyes the man.

The man turns towards the woman with anger in his eyes "I will end you" the woman turns to him with a smile on her face "I like to see you try" she said with a smirk. The commander clears his throat which makes the man and woman settle down as the man looks away and the woman chuckles in silent, "Janice, Dimitri, I believe we have different point of views that are justified but let us wait until everyone is present" The commander said in a calm and commanding voice.

The commander sits with his blue and white commander uniform which holds a number of medals and ranking, the uniform wraps around his quiet large muscular build, his brown short hair stands straight on his head with his face resting on his right fist on the table as he looks down on the two sitting in front of him.

Dimitri sits back and wraps his arm together as he turns to the side, his slick back black hair and mustache glisten under the light. He wears a dark blue leather jacket with a white puffy cotton collar with the Mili+ary insignia on the back, a white wife beater inner and a dogtag necklace, he has a athletic but skinny build. Renowned in the plus military to be in charge of the infantry group, soldiers task on the ground. Known as F.E (Field Expert) in the millitary.

Janice wears a dark blue suit covering her slim body, her long white hair falling just behind her back. Her sharp facial features engulfs anyone who stares at her, her bright yellow eyes stare through her round glasses towards the man in front of her as she smirks. Lead researcher in the intelligence and information group of the plus army, known to all as IQ (Ice Queen) a testament to her brilliance and cold demeanor.

The door swing open as a group of 3 enters the room, the first a large muscular man with a giant smile, he laughs loudly as he bends down under slightly under the door to walk in "Sorry for being late" he says as he sat next to Dimitri.

"Got stuck in the car again, katzel?" Dimitri laughs his ass of while katzel laughs with him before hitting his back in a friendly gesture but not so soft slap, dimitri chuckles as he hides the pain.

Katzel wears nothing but a blue camo tank top to show his muscular arms out open and long dark blue pants. His short buzz cut hair stand with his manliness, a necklace which holds a bullet with the mili+ary insignia rest on his chest. Leader of the heavy and defence group, consist of tanks, amored trucks, and heavy artillery, he is called KG (King Goat) by all.

A woman walks in next with a soothing presence, she smiles softly and bows to show her remorse "I apologize for being late, I was helping Tom at the cafeteria and forgot the time" she lifts her head up with a saddened look on her face. "It's alright Mary, we haven't started yet" The commander lifts his hand to her seat, Mary nods with a soft smile and sits next to Janice.

She uses a white medical coat with light blue accents, a blue rose rest on the coats pocket, her blond wavy hair which only falls down to her shoulders covers the side of her face. Leader of the medical group, her beauty almost stands as tall as her kindness, members of the army has given her the title of HP (Health Princess).

"Tom wanted to try the new dessert but had...um..trouble ordering it himself" Mary spoke to the rest, "still can't imagine how he goes too any restaurant" Janice said as she shakes her head.

The last leader enters the room, a presence rivaling Mary's light, a presence filled with void, a cold shudder, and gloom.

Tom walks in and sits next to katzel with a dead look in his eyes, half of his face covered by a blue scarf with white lines reminiscing of a plane's track on the sky. He wears an old fashioned pilot outfit with the signitaure blue of the mili+ary, his ash hair rest under googles. Leader of the air force, Known in the skies as BB (Blue Barron).

Dimitri thinks to himself *That dessert must have been real bad, huh?*. Janice smiles towards Tom "It's rare to see you so happy Tom, was that dessert satisfactory?" Tom turns to her with the same dead look in his eyes and nods, "you should have seen him when he took the first bite, I could see his eyes light up" Mary tells the others but everyone in the cafeteria at the time would have said otherwise.

Katzel laughs heartedly "I must try it then, to make Tom look so Joyful, I would like to feel that amount of joy too" Janice and mary nods along. Dimitri is dumbfounded as he looks at the gloomy Tom they speak off, "wait, you guys can't be serio-" Dimitri is cut off by another entrance from the door.

Emmy walk in and bows to show respect to the 6 present in front of her, The commander nods as he speaks "Now that everyone is here, let us start" he turns to emmy to let her begin.

"5 days ago, a team was dispact to a domain near military base 8 stationed at the edge of the deep victhan forest. The purpose for the mission is to learn and find information that can aid us in knowing the reason behind the appearance of domains on our earth. 3 2 days ago, two domain inhabitants emerge from the domain with severe injuries. Moments later emerge a single member of the team, The now Ex-convict who only goes by X." Emmy looks around towards the room and back towards her pad.

"While in recovery, we intervied X on what happen and what he has found. This is what he says".

Flashback

X sits on the medical bed as he looks at Emmy and another man standing in front of him with a look of ignorance.

"As soon as we step foot on the soil, the others were wiped out by the locals. They weren't prepared for what was to come, I find their end fitting. As for what I've learn, the emperor said some shit about a scientist who came decades ago to their land, and did all kinds of wacky shit. Doesn't really tell ya a lot right, but the emperor or i mean dead emperor, said that he believe this man would be responsible for the domain as he keep going on about how this scientist is some big shot great guy. That's it, now can i sleep?"

X speaks as carefree as he is, Emmy sighs and writes down on her pad.

Back at the meeting

"That's all he says" Emmy looks up towards the 6, "Who even is this guy?" Dimitri grunts in anger, "who authorized his release and use on this mission?" he slams his hand onto the table as he looks at Emmy.

"I did" the commander speaks which makes dimitri fall silent and sit back down "sorry sir" he said in shame. "Why?" Janice questions, in which the commander replies "I've known this man for the entirety of my past, He is reliable to say the least"

Dimitri turns up again "reliable? With all due respect sir. He saw his team die and all he has to say is that they weren't prepared, He then brings with him two otherworlders into this land, Why did his team not survive the same way as the two that came with him?" He said with rage, the commander looks at dimitri.

"Sir, I disagree with the creation of a team led by this man" Dimitri stands up as he looks at the commander, the other stay silent.

Mary speaks up "I agree with dimitri, I for one knew the young lady that was in that team. I am truly saddened by the lost of her life, I too cannot stand for such a man who shows no sympathy for the lost of his team." She spoke with a sad tone.

The commander sees the 2 speak their minds, Janice speaks up "I agree with the commander as I've told dimitri, we are in need of a team to venture into domain for information. This man and his team is a good use of that, as for the information he has given, my team conducted a search for a scientists who might be the same one that emperor speaks off, and if you would be so kind Emmy" Janice turns to Emmy with a smile, Emmy jolts up and nods "Yes, there was a scientist who goes by the alias Ictharus".

The moment emmy spoke that name, the commander's eyes widen.

"Was?" Dimitri asked, Emmy looked at the tab "6 years ago, an accident occured in a lab which took out all the employees. He was the lead scientist in the experimentation of the creation of gateways to other worlds. He presume dead as well as all the other victim in that lab, but with the new information, we suspect that he was actually teleported to another world and now has somehow return to this one with the appearance of domains. In our research, we have found someone who has worked along side Ictharus, but attempts to reach them has been difficult" Emmy spoke, Janice cuts in

"He's probably done some shady business in the past and misunderstood the reason for reaching him as us trying to apprehend him." Janice chuckles at how dumb and paranoid this man is, Emmy continues

"We track him down to a foundation at the top of mount Prostvet in the Aisur region, he is the lead researcher in that foundation. We do not know what are the working of this foundation" emmy concludes.

The commander finally speaks "I understand all the doubts and suspicion on X and his new team, but i assure all of you that he is of use to us. So, I suggest we put him and his team in a test with retrieving this scientist, if he is to succeed then there will be no more disapproval on the creation of this new team, is that to everyone's understanding" He spoke with confidence and certainty.

Katzel smiles and laughs "For the commander to have so much confidence on this man, he must be a strong one. I agree with this test" katzel raises his hand in agreement, Tom follows as well with Janice.

Mary smiles softly "Very well, I will put my emotion aside and trust in the Commander's judgemental" she raises her hand. Dimitri looks at everyone as they look at him "Sir, I still have my doubts of this X. But i will agree on this test" he raises his hand.

The commander smiles then turns to Emmy "With everyones agreement on this matter, please inform X of the decision and his team's new mission." Emmy nods. Janice cuts in before Emmy leaves

"Wait, May i propose a name for this new team as it would be easier to address them later on, they are a group of otherworlders so i suggest 'The Misfits' as a fitting name if i do say so" Janice smile, Dimitri laughs

"Nice one, fitting as they don't belong here" The commander nods and Emmy leaves the room.

Present time (day after the discharge)

Dust opens his eyes to yet another unfamiliar ceiling, his body rest on the soft embrace of the bed and blanket, the morning light shine through a gap from the curtain.

He sits up and yawns, looking around the room that he still feels like a dream, "Could I get used to this?" He asked himself as he imagine his old house in kakerui. He shakes his head "There's nothing left back there" a sort of reminder to himself as he gets off the bed, He touches the white and orange pajamas he wears, feeling the soft material.

Kuro opens her eyes around the same time, her eyes widen with excitement of the plans set on the day, she jumps out of bed with her pink and black pajamas and scream with excitement as her messy bed hair flows through the air.

Suna tidies his bed before he walks to the bathroom in his room, he stares at the mirror with a soft smile then starts to brush his teeth the way Grim taught him last night.

Kuro jumps off the bed while stripping naked and runs towards the bathroom, trying to do everything as fast as possible, she brushes her teeth while taking a shower at the same time.

Suna takes a deep breath as the steamy hot water falls onto his back, he closes his eyes to enjoy the calmness.

Kuro wipes her self with a towel before dropping it on the floor and runs towards the wardrobe as she opens it, she looks at the clothes Emmy bought for her last night to use for today she eagerly puts it on.

Suna walks out the bathroom with a towel on, he open the wardrobe to see the clothes Emmy has bought for him and puts it on. He then opens the door to find Kuro exiting her room which is opposite of his as well, his eyes widen as this is the first time he sees Kuro in this type of clothes, she wears a pink crop top with black shorts.

Kuro sees Suna in his white t-shirt with orange shorts, she smiles "Good morning!!" Kuro says, Suna smiles back "Morning".

They make their way down the hall, towards the stairs which divides the east and west wing of rooms. Going down the stairs they end at the entrance of the mansion, turning left leading down a hall towards the dinning hall.

On their way, they take the chance to admire the mansion, "I can't believe this is our new home" Suna said as he looks at the limestone walls near the main stairs, touching the wall with his hand. "It's so big, I can run around from on side to the other" Kuro walks along aside Suna as she gets on the railing of the stairs and slide down, exclaiming her excitement.

At the entrance, they both look up to the giant chandelier above them, "it's kinda spacious, feels to big for just us" suna said as he turns towards the hall to the dinning hall, "Well, let's hope for new friends to come along to fill up the party" Kuro follows along side him.

They both enter the dinning hall, a large table sits in the middle which stretches from one end to the other of the hall. Grim stands on the other end of the room "Good Morning, Master Suna and Madam Kuro. Please sit here while I get your breakfast" He smiled kindly at them and opens his hand to the seat near him on the other end of the table.

Suna and kuro make their way towards the other end, they sit across each other. "Mr. Grim, you can just call me Suna, it doesn't feel right for a senior to address me as master" Suna chuckles nervously, "Then how about Mr. Suna, will that be alright?" Grim smiles, Suna still reluctant agrees either way "It's better, yes" Grim nods in return "very well, I shall now bring your breakfast" Grim bows then leaves the hall.

"How does he see under those blindfold?" Kuro whispers to Suna from her side, her eyes widen with curiosity, Suna chuckles "I have no idea" Suna turns to the chair on the end of the table beside the both of them, "Has X not woken up yet?" Suna questions, Kuro just shrugs her shoulders.

The door from the entrance opens, Suna and Kuro turn to find Emmy entering the dinning hall. "Oh, you both are already here" Emmy said with surprised as she walked towards Kuro's side, on this particular day she wears more casual clothes which is a cream long sleeve blouse with a brown long skirt.

"Kuro, you look so cute, i knew i pick the right top" she claps her hand in satisfaction, "Emmy!" Kuro jumps from her seat and hugs Emmy. "She's very excited for today" Suna said while chuckling, "me too" Emmy said hugging kuro back, they jump together.

Grim enters the room from the other door with a tray cart with food on them, "it's good to have you join us, madam Emmy" he bows to greet her. "Thank you for having me" Emmy said as she and kuro sat back down while still being excited, Grim places the food in front of them, it was scramble eggs with bacon and sausages.

Suna and Kuro's eyes open up by the sight of the food, the smell of the cuisine make them salivate instantly, "itadakimasu" they both said and bite down on the breakfast. Emmy watch both of them and chuckle silently, she takes a cut of the sausage and bite down, her eyes widen as well

"woah, This is very good" she said with shocked as her hand covered her mouth. They all ate their food with faces of pure satisfactory, Grim smiles while hearing them eat to the fullest.

Emmy turns to the empty chair on the edge of the table, "Where's X? Is he not joining us?" She asked to the other two but Suna and Kuro are to focus on the food to answer, "he will be joining you, he is just getting ready" Grim said as he stood behind Emmy which made her jump for a moment, "Ready? Why does he need to get ready for a casual day out?" Emmy asked as she looked up towards grim behind her.

Suddenly the sound of Jazz music can be heard from the distance, coming from the entrance of the dinning hall. "Here he comes" Grim smiled as he turns to the door, The door swings open and X poses seductively towards the room, he uses a full black and red suit, his hair done, jazz music in the air. Emmy eyes widen and she looked confused, shock, and blushes, X approaches her, he walks with confidence in each stride, he stops in front of her and leans in with a smirk, "I'm ready for our date, miss Emmy".

Upon hearing that, Emmy covers her mouth, her eyes looks at his, her face blushes with pink, then in the next moment turn red with steaming anger as her hand lowers from her mouth to show her gritting teeth, another hand flies towards X in a fist shape, and X falls back. "Stop, joking around" Emmy says with annoyance, "we're all waiting for you" she stood up and looks down on X who lays on the floor.

X chuckles and gets up "Fine, but you gotta admit i look good" he raises his eyesbrows with a cheeky smile, "I'll kill you" Emmy cracks her knuckles.

X snaps his finger and chains take off his suit to show some casual clothes under, he uses a black shirt but there's a cut across from one shoulder to the opposite bottom side, they are then connected by tiny red X along the cut, the shirt comes with a hood with the same 2 red X on the side, he uses black baggy long pants with black chains and straps hanging from it.

X sits on the chair and eats the food, having the same reaction as everyone else, "okay so, i have a lil itinerary for what to do today" Emmy opens her tab with a schedule on it and shows it to Kuro who has already finished her food.

"We're staying in the main city for today, so we can do some shopping for you guys, go to the arcade, eat dessert in a cafe, but before we do all that, we have to stop by the office to talk about your suit for the upcoming mission" Emmy looks at them with a smile.

Suna looks confused "upcoming mission?" X jumps in "yea, forgot to tell you both but we have a new mission but we can discuss that tomorrow, today we have fun" Kuro hears that and cheers "Yea, Fun" she laughs, Suna becomes curious but holds it off for now. "You will be meeting the new weapon engineer, he will personalize a suit and weapons to your need, I can't wait to see how cool you both will look" Emmy giggles.

"Awesome, My new toys broke, they won't go pew pew anymore" Kuro holds up one of her uzi gun and pulls the trigger which scares Emmy but nothing comes out, Kuro looks sad as she keeps pulling it, "I think they just ran out of bullets, madam Kuro" Grim says from behind. "Huh? Bullets?" Kuro turns her head to the side in confusion, Emmy in the other hand is worried "why did you have that with you?" Kuro looks at Emmy

"To fight bad guys" Kuro says with the most innocent face in which Emmy is taken a back but shakes her head "you don't need to bring them, just leave them at the office later, maybe they can upgrade it" Emmy tells her in which Kuro's eyes light up and nods excitedly "they can make the bullets never run out?" Kuro looks with hope, "maybe" Emmy shrugs.

At the weapon engineer's room

"Infinite bullets? That's stupid" The weapon engineer says as he looks lowly at the newcomers in his room, "everyone this is Mecha, the new appointed weapons engineer after Tech Wiz passed" Emmy said as he opens her hand to introduce the person sitting on a chair with one leg crossed and the other bend up in front of them.

Mecha crosses his arm, he uses a blue and black mechanic outfit that doubles as a track suit, the top is mostly blue with signs of sprayed oil on the edges of the cuffs and bottom part of the top, the bottom is a baggy navy blue mechanic pants with the same sprayed oil on the edges, the pants and shirt have orange straps for personal reasons. Over the suit, is an orange blacksmith apron which surprisingly is clean, he uses orange gloves but his feet are bare. He has orange long unkept hair but a surprisingly clean and smooth face, his eyes are darken from fatigue and seems to have never seen the light of day.

He yawns "So, who's first?" He aksed but there's a tone of boredom that follows, Emmy turns to the group "Suna would you like to go first?" Suna nods and steps forward, he looks at the room around him as he does.

The room is kept dark with the only light source coming from the 3 monitors in behind Mecha and the open door behind the others, on the walls they are hanging tools and posters of different games, there's another workbench on the rigth side of the room filled to with materials and unfinished projects. Rows of cabinets of materials occupy the left side, no bed is at sight just another door presumably to the bathroom.

"Alright kid, just tell me anything that you need for action, or whatever" Mecha sits back and rest his head on one of his hand waiting for this to end, "well, I brought my ninja suit which is broken, could you make something similar" Suna holds up his white ninja suit and mask which are stained in blood, dirt, ripped in some places, Mecha takes it and looks at it before throwing it to a bin on the side with perfect accuracy.

Suna looks surprised "wait, why did you do that?" Mecha rolls his eyes "I'm making you a new one, why keep that old, crappy, and run down suit" he said with no restrain. "Okay so a ninja suit, anything else I should know" mecha looks at Suna, Suna thinks for a while "well, can you do something with my powers" As Suna says that he turns to sand and reforms again.

Mecha eyes widen, his hand which was holding his head falls down "What??" Mecha stands up "You can turn to sand?" He screams in shocked but also excitement and curiosity.

"Suna and Kuro here are from a domain, they have unnatural abilities" Emmy explained to Mecha in which Mecha eyes light up with excitement.

"Bro, can you do it one more time?" He said to Suna, Suna does it again and Mecha grins joyfully. "Okay, i can think of so many ideas, a weapon like a small hidden knife on your wrist or some sort of gas that you realease with your sand" Mecha goes on and on with ideas, Suna gets overwhelmed and shakes his head "I don't really need a weapon as i already have my katana, i only need a suit"

Upon hearing this, Mecha turns to a straight face and he sat back down on the chair, his bored and harsh tone returns "oh, yea i can do that" Suna looks at him with a sigh. "I'll think of something for your suit, any preference" mecha asked but now not really having any interest anymore, "a smooth and light suit will be fine, also a place to sheath my katana will be great" Suna said while mecha just nods away.

Kuro jumps in, "Is it my turn yet?" She said excitedly as she walked in front of Suna, Mecha turns his attention to kuro, his eyes widen again, he stands up and touches Kuro's ears which makes her shiver "that tickles" she said chuckling, Suna starts to unsheathe his sword but X knocks his head lightly.

Mecha jumps back after touching Kuro with shock "They're Real? I thought you were cosplaying, no wonder it looked so realistic" Mecha wipes his hand even though he uses gloves, "I've said they were from a domain, what do you not get?" Emmy palm face.

Kuro takes out the two uzi gun and pulls the trigger "can you make them not stop working?" Mecha looks at the guns and sigh "there's no way to make infinite bullets, and I'm guessing you wouldn't want a giant mag which would make them heavier." Mecha thinks for a while then smiles "But i think i could find a way to make it easier for you to keep shooting, i been wanting to try it out. Other than that, anything else?" Mecha ask after taking the two uzi guns from Kuro, Kuro shakes her head "Nop" Mecha sighs again "alright, i think i have some ideas for both of you guy's suit"

He then turns to X "what about you?" X grins "just give me something red and black with a hood" X then thinks before pulling his lips from both side to give a giant grin with his sharp teeth "and a mask with a giant grin like this one" Mecha looks down in disappointment "any weapons?" He says almost like a plea, X shakes his head "nah, don't need any". "Get out then" Mecha shoo them out the door, as he returns to his solitude.

Standing in the hallway as the door behind them closes and the faint sound of keyboard mashing can be heard from inside, Emmy claps her hand together as a way to get the groups attention "well, Now with all that done. We can go on our original plan" she said with a giant smile, hoping the others were just as excited as she is.

Everyone else follows behind her, kuro hops forward while holding suna's hand with a giggle "yay, we can go look at the city" she said as suna smiled with her.

X walkes behind the group, hands in his pockets as he looks at the two in front of him with a straight face before it twitches into a soft smile. On the way out the group passes another, X and the commander passes each other for a moment, X doesn't look back and kept walking, the commander stops in his path and takes a peek back before continuing forward.

X and the gang get into a car and they drive off towards the inner city, they stop at a street which is filled with malls and stores, a shopping centre stretching over the entire street. "This is Loran street, one of the most bustling shopping centre and maybe the only one in the whole world after... you know..." Emmy says as the group gets out the car.

"Woah, where should we to first?" Kuro's eyes turn to stars as she looks around at the long stretching street filled with shops, she hugs emmy's side while looking at the tablet. Emmy chuckles as she scrolls to the top of the list "First, let's go shopping" Emmy eyes sharpens as she smirks.

Emmy takes kuro by the hand and walk forwards, suna and X following behind them.

Suna looks around in awe of the tall buildings and many shops, X turns to suna "different from your old world, right?" He said with a chuckle but a bit of curiosity to how Suna feels about all this, "yea, it's very different. The sound, air, smell, view, even the ground i step on, they're nothing like home. But... i like this, it's a good different, i get to see a world so far than mine" his eyes shift "yet i also feel guilty, not long ago my world was tainted by blood yet here i am in a new one, enjoying myself." Suna looks down as his eyes darken.

X puts his hand on suna's shoulder "Hey kid, don't worry about those things, you gotta leave those things behind or else it's just keep eating you away, plus you got a certain someone that need that attention right" X smirks while Suna's eyes turn up to the direction of Kuro.

He then looks away with a little blush "i guess you're right" he said, X chuckles and pushes him forward "let's join those two and keep your head up, enjoy this day as i said" X walks forward, Suna smiles and follows behind him.

They travel inside the mall, stopping by clothes shops as Kuro jumps around shelves and racks looking at clothes, emmy follows behind her picking out things and showing it to her. Suna looks around at the men section, X yawns. Kuro tries on a few clothes as shows emmy and suna which they both clap and give their votes.

Kuro comes out with a lovely pink dress, emmy gives 8/10 point and suna gives 10/10.

Kuro then changes to a more punk style with chains, a pink and black long pants and shirt, and a leather punk hat, emmy gives 7/10 while suna gives another 10/10.

Kuro comes out again in a catzilla pink shirt with short black pants, net leggings and a cute cat pin on the pants, emmy gives a 10/10, suna gives 10/10 and even x gives a 10/10.

Suna get to change clothes too as he tries a hoodie and long baggy pants, Emmy gives an 6/10 while kuro gives a 10/10.

X joins in as he wears a cardigan with a suit and some very smooth long pants, emmy gives an 7/10 with an annoyed face, suna and kuro both give 10/10. X shurgs and changes back, the group buys a couple of clothes and move on too the next shop.

Emmy takes them to a drink stand and bought them two Boba drinks, Kuro and suna eyes light up as they both take a sip, they both drink faster till suna accidentally choked and emmy slaps his back, X laughs while drinking his boba and chockes as well before being save by emmy, she looks at both of them with a head shake of disappointment.

They go on to the arcade, kuro takes suna arms and drags him to a machine, kuro and X smiles seeing both of then having fun. "I don't know why, but i like them two so much, seeing them makes me happy" Emmy says to X without turning to look at him, X stays silent.

Emmy turns around "why them?" She asked waiting for his answer, X Sighs "it's not that complicated to understand, they're interesting to me" Emmy's eyes shake as he says that "what if they stop being interesting to you" Emmy asked but she already knew the answer, "i hope they'll always be" X walks forwards towards the two.

Emmy looks at X as he join the two, they both smile and show him the game they were playing with excitement and shocked, her eyes lay on them for a while, she shakes the feeling and joins them.

They spent some time in the arcade, playing all the machines, X and emmy walk out first while suna and kuro follow behind.

Kuro holds a plushie of a bear in a top hat and bow tie on her arms and hugs it tightly with a grin, her eyes looks back to the arcade but then her eyes lingers on a family, she sees the mom tending to the daughter, the brother comes by and pulls the daughter to the arcade with a smile, the mom shouts out but smiles as she follows in as well.

Kuro stops in her track, her eyes shaking, "Kuro?" Suna's voice brings her back, Kuro turns to suna and shakes her head then grins "yea?".

Suna points towards the restaurant they're heading "we're going to eat" Kuro nods and smiles back "alright, i was getting hungry" she touches her stomach and chuckles, they walk but Kuro takes one last peek at the mother before turning around.

Infront of the mansion, Emmy part ways as she hugs kuro and waves to the others "today was so fun, thanks Emmy" kuro said as she hugs her. "No problem, let's do it again after the mission, and remember tomorrow we have to go take your suits" Emmy says, Kuro gives a nod.

Emmy gets into the car as she waves her goodbyes and drives off, the three go inside the mansion. X turns to the two "had fun you two?" He says to which the both of them nodded in return "yea, it was so much fun" kuro jumped with a smile "I've never experienced anything like it" Suna says.

X smiles "great, cause tomorrow is going to be a hard day" he chuckles "alright get some sleep, you'll need it" he walks off to the the garden in the back.

Kuro yawns "I'm going to bed" Suna turns to her with a smile "yea, me too, today was a long day" they both said their good nights and went to bed.

Suna wakes up to the sound of the grandfather clock in the halways chiming on the hour, he sits up and looms around, he goes out of his room and walks towards the kitchen.

On his way, he hears whimpers and sniffles coming from the balcony, he pokes his head to the side to see who it was. He sees kuro looking out to the open forest with the city at the distance, she wipes her eyes as she cries.

Suna looks shocked and confused, kuro felt a presence and turns her head to find suna looking at her "oh, suna... you're awake" she wipes her eyes and tries to pretend she wasn't crying "i was just getting some fresh air" she smiles towards him.

Suna looks worried, and kuro sees that "hehe, no point in lying... you saw me already" Kuro said as she hold herself as her eyes turn to the side.

"what happen?" Suna walks up towards her with the question. Kuro turn around to the night sky "it's about my mom and brother" she said, "Emmy told me the day before you woke up that, a week before X and his friends went to our world their was movement caught of people exiting our world, She said it was a woman and a man with the same featurs as me, my mom and brother, i saw the picture and it was them, i felt happy they were save but" she looks to the open world

"they're somewhere out there hiding and scared, while I'm here enjoying myself with shopping, arcades, boba" Her eyes begin to water again as she turns back to suna, the guilt and pain in her eyes obviously to Suna.

Suna is taken back by the sight, this side of kuro he never saw, a vulnerability he too had. Suna looks at her and walks to the balcony rail beside kuro and looks to the open world, "kuro, you're strong, but you shouldn't put all this weight on top of you, your mom and brothers wouldn't want you to feel guilty." Kuro turns to look at suna

"you and me are the same, I too feel guilty for enjoying myself here while my people just went through bloodshed, but X told me that i should keep going forward and keep my head high... for you" Kuro eyes light up as she hears him say that "your mom and brother are out there in this world, we can find them easily and i believe that they are safe, I'll help you find them as I've promise back then, so let me hold onto some of your weight" Suna said with certainty and honesty as he turns to face kuro.

Kuro wipes her teary eyes and smiled, she then walks towards him and hugs him "thank you" she said as her face rest on his chest with a smile, her tears still fresh as they are falling to his shirt.

Suna blushes for a second but then return the hug. They share a tender moment before letting go, kuro and suna both lean on the rail "what about your family?" Kuro asked "i never met them, lord nahishi only gave me their house and the stuff they left behind, as for their fate i never learned it" Kuro eyes lowers as she hears suna speak "I'm sorry" She said.

Suna smiles in return "Don't be, it's fine. I'll take whatever they left behind and use it to the fullest, I'm alive because of them" suna said.

Kuro turns to him with admiration and smiles "you're amazing, Suna" Suna upon hearing that jolts and blushes "Huh, what do you mean?" Kuro shakes her head "nothing" she stood up from leaning on the railing and walks towards the door "thank you for being here for me, I'm going to sleep" she said, Suna smiles as he stood up as well "of course, good night" suna said "good night" Kuro said in return before she head off. Suna stares at the night sky before going in as well.
