Chapter 2766  Awakening

The domain of blood converged upon Amare while she danced, bringing about a wall of earth to defend against the converging blood attack.

BOOOOOOM!!!!!

This defensive domain of earth was a technique that the Shield of Gaia had passed on to her.

It was the domain that had given the Martial Transcendent his name.

"Shield of Gaia." Amare's whisper was one of determination as she executed the technique with perfection.

BOOOOOOOM!!!!!

The tremendously powerful blood blasted the earth shield over and over, getting closer and closer to Amare as it eroded her defensive domain bit by bit.

BOOOOOOOM!!!!! BOOOOOOOM!!!!! BOOOOOOOM!!!!!

The Blood Goddess' blood-red pupils were murderously cold.

It compressed more and more with each passing moment, getting ever so slightly nearer to the Omni-Martial.

Blood Lord Vrukshus closed his eyes. "This battle is already over."

"Don't be so sure," Rui replied with a calm tone, having overcome the Blood Goddess's sexual arousal technique with Megamind. "Amare is not one to go down so easily."

He was starting to understand why Amare had warned him not to fight the Blood Gods; it was probably because she had a sperm extraction technique that she would use in conjugation with her arousal technique. With her remote blood that could enter an opponent's system, there was a good chance that she could get samples of his sperm cells remotely.

A few cells were all she needed.

Even though Rui was confident he wouldn't lose the battle, she would get what she wanted from him. In that regard, he came to appreciate Amare's warning and his decision to place his trust in her. That was why he was displeased to see her cornered by the Blood Goddess' absurd raw power and her magical Martial Art.

Blood Lord Vrukshus shook his head with disapproval. "Admittedly, the Omni-Martial held her own quite well even when the Blood Goddess grew serious, but now that my goddess has decided to go all-out, her superiority is clear. Even you must admit what is plainly before you. She is the strongest Martial Master, aside from perhaps the Monster of the Gu and, of course, yourself."

Rui didn't find it easy to deny his words. Not when the Blood Goddess blasted Amare's defensive domain with omnidirectional converging blood compressions.

BOOOOOOOM!!!!! BOOOOOOOM!!!!! BOOOOOOOM!!!!!

Now that he beheld her full power, he truly couldn't help but genuinely appreciate the sheer depth of her Martial Art.

There were many layers to her power.

"Blood generation, hemokinesis, skyrocketing energy production, exponentially increased energy consumption and corresponding output…" he heaved a sigh of admiration. "Not just that. She makes brilliant utility of Pascal's Law to transmit power through her blood."

Pascal's Law was a rather elementary law of fluid dynamics that stated that a pressure change in a confined incompressible liquid would cause the same pressure change in other parts of the liquid. It was a very popular method of channeling and distributing force used in hydraulics and even many insect species. This principle allowed her to control her excessive generation of power with the efficiency that one would expect from a Martial Master. It also allowed her to absorb the impacts of her opponent and channel them BOOOOOOOM!!!!! BOOOOOOOM!!!!! BOOOOOOOM!!!!!

"On top of that…" Rui's eyes narrowed as she made more progress towards reaching the cornered Amare with each attack. "…her ability to stimulate internal metabolism with her excess blood is truly incredible. Her cognitive enhancements in this state are equal to that of the Megamind, giving her one of the most powerful minds I've ever seen in a Martial Master."

It allowed her to never lose control of her tremendous body and power.

Rui had to admit that he would find defeating her extremely challenging. He was confident he would win by exploiting her weaknesses, such as the mental burden that controlling such power would have on her, compromised stamina, or the high demand for oxygen that all this blood would have, requiring her to use a straining breathing technique at all times.

Unfortunately, Amare didn't do any of this.

Her Martial Path was not Adaptive Evolution, after all. And while she had deployed some good strategies to mitigate the power gap, she hadn't been able to abuse her opponent's weaknesses and shortcomings the way Rui would have had he been the one fighting her.

She probably hadn't even noticed all these weaknesses and shortcomings. It simply wasn't her style. She wasn't the most dynamic and flexible fighter out there.

"She simply doesn't have what it takes to defeat the Blood Goddess." Blood Lord Vrukshus delivered his judgment. BOOOOOOOM!!!!! BOOOOOOOM!!!!! BOOOOOOOM!!!!!

With each passing second, the Blood Goddes got closer and closer to Amare, threatening to crush her and kill her very she stood.

Even then, she ensured that she placed herself between Rui and the Blood Goddess, ready to intercept her should she try to make a run for Rui.

The blood domain got smaller and smaller.

The air grew darker and darker.

The atmosphere grew colder and colder.

"And now…" A glint of cold bloodlust in the Blood Goddess' eyes as she finally destroyed the final remnants of Amare's defense. "Die."

Her open hand crumpled into a fist as the blood domain followed suit, converging to crush the defenseless Amare into a mush of flesh and blood.

And yet, despite that, Rui smiled. He smiled as a faint whisper escaped him. "There she is."

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!

The Blood Goddess' eyes widened with shock as her blood domain was blasted away, spraying across the entire facility.

SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT!

The Blood Goddess remained utterly frozen in shock as she struggled to fathom what had just happened.

Rui simply smiled knowingly while the Blood Lord and Goddess grew paralyzed with shock.

They beheld Amare with widened eyes of bewilderment.

For a moment, nothing happened.

And then, a universe of memories erupted within the depths of her mind.

Memories of a younger continent.

Memories of an ancient era.

Memories of a world devoid of Martial Art.

A world she had blessed.

Blessed with the power of Martial Art.

"What is this…?" A stunned whisper escaped the aghast Blood Lord. "What is this?!"

She opened her eyes.

Eyes with an unfathomable depth of power and experience.

The Progenitor had awakened.

The Progenitor had joined the battle.
