The Mafia Prince's Angel:His Miracle

Chapter 27: Beg, Dear Husband

I glared hard at him when his grip on my wrists tightened and his body lowered towards mine.

His face inched closer and his hot breath fanned my face. He gave me a long stare, not uttering a single word before a sinister smile appeared on his perfect features.

He gently touched my face with his free hand, caressing my cheeks softly that I almost shut my eyes at how calming his touch was but at the same time, my insides had started erupting with fire.

"I'm really going to go easy with you, so just cooperate with me by handing me the paper and I'll just walk away." His voice was strained and raspy, as if he was struggling to keep his voice calm.

"Or what?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. His grey eyes darkened at my challenge, he shut his eyes for a few seconds before opening them.

His patience is running thin!

Yes!

I'm succeeding at getting on his nerves!

This is fun!

"I have something very important to you. Instead of you going down on your knees to beg, you're realistically pinning me down on my bed, saying words that sounds like threats. Real men beg, Alexander." He scoffed and let out a little giggle before leaning away and backing off from me.

I sat up on the bed, staring at his tall, muscular frame.

"So, you want me to beg for something you literally stole from me?" He asked and I let out a dramatic gasp.

"Wives don't steal things from their husbands. Anything that belongs to their husbands is automatically theirs too." I flashed him a grin before standing up from the bed to face him.

He sighed, swallowed hard before going down on one knee.

What?! He's giving in too easily.

"Both knees on the floor, dear husband." I saw his eyes twitch but nevertheless, his other knee did hit the floor.

I gave him a ludicrous look and then laughed out when I could no longer hold it in.

This is so funny and satisfying. The almighty Alexander kneeling in front of a mere Ivory.

"Say the magic word and you'll have your paper back. Yes, say things I want to hear otherwise you can kiss goodbye to your contract," I said, my words coming out in between laughter.

"Please, Ivo... lovely wifey, I'm sorry if I have offended you in anyway but please can I have my contract paper back. Please, please, please." His hands were joined together in a pleading manner, making him look like a little child begging desperately for his favourite candy.

I covered my mouth so that I wouldn't burst into another fits of laughter. I slowly walked to my vanity and opened one of the drawers, I took out the paper, closed the drawer and returned to stand in front of Alexander.

I stretched the paper towards him and he hastily reached out for it, but I quickly withdrew it from his reach with a geeky smirk on my face.

I did it again and again and again till I became satisfied and exhausted, and then handed him the paper but I regretted it afterwards because he tossed the paper aside, seized me in his arms and pushed me to the bed.

He hovered over me and pinned my hands on their sides. His eyes were narrowed and he had a frown on his face.

How did the tables turn so fast?

"What's good for the goose is also good for the gander. I never loose in a battle, wifey. Now, the next time you'll try this, I'll make sure I tie you up and then I'll fuck you so hard that you'll be begging for more," he uttered with animosity in his voice.

"You wouldn't dare! I'm not the one who begged for a piece of paper," I replied fiercely but he leaned in closer and I pushed my head back into the bed.

He pecked my lips lightly before standing up from the bed, picked up the paper from the floor and exited the room, banging the door behind him.

He's just bluffing, right? He's not that cruel, right?

'You may never know', my subconscious answered harshly.

I continued staring into space for some minutes thinking about his words. They give me chills and at the same time makes me want to dare him and see what he'll do.

Either way, I still made him beg. Hehehe!

I won this round, take that, you arrogant brute.

I was interrupted by the knock on the door and Claire's head peeped into the room. I gave her a small smile before she fully entered the room.

"Master Alexander requests that you join him for dinner," she said.

"Go tell him that I'm not hungry," I replied and sighed deeply.

Her face immediately creased with worry and nervousness. She was literally sweating.

Is she okay?

"He said I shouldn't return without you," she said in one breath.

I raised my brows at her sentence, rolling my eyes, I followed her out of the room.

We got to the dining where Alexander was already seated at the head sit at the dinning table. He didn't even look up when I entered, he just continued to operate on his phone.

John pulled out a chair for me and I sat down, staring at the food-filled table. They all looked inviting and appetizing. My stomach grumbled and I winced and peeked at Alexander, hoping he didn't hear it, but thankfully he was still engrossed on his phone.

That would've been embarrassing. And why's my stomach grumbling? I ate very well in the morning, though I missed lunch.

I dug into the pasta and salad that was in front of me, I shut my eyes savoring the taste. When I opened my eyes, Alexander was staring intently at me, I gave him a 'what' look and he simply just turned back to his phone.

I had just finished my first plate of food and on the second one but Alexander hasn't touched his. He's still so focused on his phone or he's pretending to be. He keeps looking at me from time to time or filling up my plate and urging me to eat more.

"I'm full, Alexander," I said, when he took my empty plate and dropped his full plate in front me.

He simply nodded and stood up, tucked his phone into his pants pocket before pulling me up from my sit. I just stared at him in confusion.

"Let's take a walk to the garden, Angel. I'd love to show you something," he said and dragged me along with him towards the garden.
