The Mafia peace

Chapter 8: chapter 6

At office

Aditya, Rudaraksh's trusted PA, enters the cabin with a folder in hand. He walks towards Rudaraksh, who is sitting behind his desk, reviewing some documents. Aditya places the folder on the desk and sits down in the visitor's chair.

Aditya: (In a calm, serious tone) "Sir, I have the report on Aarohi mam. As you said, I have gathered all the information."
Rudaraksh: (Looking up, his expression neutral, but his eyes sharp with curiosity) "Go on."
Aditya opens the folder, revealing a series of papers with details about Aarohi. His voice continues as he reads.
Rudaraksh leans back in his chair, listening intently, though his expression remains unreadable.
Aditya: "However, there's one small anomaly. We've found that she visits a hospital twice a week, but the visits are under different names. It's a bit suspicious. We couldn't uncover much about why she does this, but the visits are routine."
Rudaraksh furrows his brow slightly, leaning forward.
Rudaraksh: "Hospital visits... keep me posted on this. But what else?"
Aditya: "She is also very close to her best friend, Tara. They seem inseparable. In fact, her bond with Tara is more intense than with anyone else. It's almost as if they are attached at the hip."
Rudaraksh pauses for a moment, contemplating this piece of information. Then, he stands up abruptly, his voice growing cold and commanding.
Rudaraksh: "I want her brought here. Now."
Aditya: (Looking slightly startled but accustomed to Rudaraksh's sudden orders) "You mean... Tara mam, sir?"
Rudaraksh: (His eyes narrow, his tone firm) "Yes. And I want her to be brought here immediately.(I want to know the reason for her nightmares ( "Rudaraksh mutter to himself)
Aditya nods, standing up with a mixture of compliance and caution.
Aditya: "Understood, sir."
Aditya turns and exits the cabin swiftly, leaving Rudaraksh staring out the window, his mind already working through the next steps of his plan.
After half and hour
Tara is escorted into Rudaraksh's cabin. She recognizes him immediately, her face tense but composed. Despite the situation, she speaks out confidently, addressing him without fear.
Tara: (Calmly) "Jiju."
Rudaraksh glances at her, his eyes hard and calculating, but he doesn't return the greeting. He gestures for her to sit, and she does, without hesitation. His voice remains cold and composed, his authority clear.
Rudaraksh: Tara, you are very close to aarohi, Toh Tumhe usne jarur bataya Hoga apne nightmares k baare mein.

( Maintaining his cold demoneror)

Tara: jiju, aarohi agar aap pe bharosha karti hai toh aapko khudh batayegiii. Aur wahi aachha Hoga. jiju, pehli baar kishi pe bharosha Kiya hai usne uska bharosha maat toriyegaa. Bahot Kuch saha hai usne akele. Plzz jiju don't hurt my friend more. She will tell u when she is ready and leave the cabin.
The door closes behind her, leaving Rudaraksh alone in his office, deep in thought. He stands by the window for a moment, looking out at the city. His mind churns, torn between his need for answers and the understanding that Tara's words have struck a chord within him.
One month is passed in the blink of eyes now Rudaraksh and arrohi has become little closer ,they talk about their day and now Rudaraksh is sure about his fellings.yes he is love with his wife and falling her more and more.aarohi is started trusting her and opening up to him.Rudaraksh Bestfriend has given him idea to take aarhohi in date so that she can fell more comfortable.and aarohi still have nightmares but not daily it has reduced and for last 15 day she hasn't get nightmares and that's surprising for her.
Arrohi has become a motherly figure to aarav and Aarushi. Most of the time with them.
Sunday Morning ( it was a holiday)
The morning sun slowly climbs higher, its rays reaching their faces. Aarohi stirs slightly, her lashes fluttering as she begins to wake. Her eyes blink open, adjusting to the soft light. She glances up and sees Rudaraksh's face, relaxed and serene, devoid of his usual cold demeanor. A small, tender smile forms on her lips as she takes in the rare sight of him at peace.
Unconsciously, Rudaraksh shifts, pulling her closer. His hand moves to rest against her back, and his grip tightens slightly as if afraid to let go. Aarohi freezes for a moment, her cheeks turning a soft pink, before settling back into his embrace. For the first time in a long time, she feels safe, truly safe.
Aarohi: (Softly, almost whispering) "You're not so scary when you're sleeping, Mr Rajput."
Her words are light and teasing, but there's a depth to her tone, as though she's acknowledging the vulnerable side of him she rarely sees. She places her hand gently over his, her touch light but meaningful. Her eyes soften as she lets herself relax in his arms, the walls she had once built around her heart crumbling slowly.
Moments later, Rudaraksh stirs. His brows furrow slightly as he wakes, his eyes slowly opening. At first, there's confusion, but then his gaze falls on Aarohi, still nestled against him. For a moment, he says nothing, his usual guarded expression replaced by something softer-something almost gentle.
Rudaraksh: (Voice groggy) "Morning... Biwi"
Aarohi looks up, slightly embarrassed to be caught staring, but she doesn't move away. Instead, she offers him a small smile.
Aarohi: "Good morning."
Rudaraksh continues to look at her, his gaze lingering on her face. There's an unspoken warmth in his eyes, a quiet realization that he feels more at ease with her in his arms than he ever thought possible. He shifts slightly, adjusting their position so she's more comfortable.
Rudaraksh: (Softly) "Did you sleep well?"
Aarohi nods, her cheeks flushing slightly at his unexpected tenderness.
Aarohi: "Better than I have in a long time."
Rudaraksh doesn't respond, but his lips twitch into the faintest smile. The silence between them isn't awkward; instead, it feels intimate, filled with things neither of them are ready to say just yet. Aarohi glances away, pretending to focus on the sunlight streaming in, but her heart races in her chest.
Finally, Rudaraksh speaks, his voice low but firm.
Rudaraksh: "Stay like this for a while. Just a little longer."
Aarohi looks up at him, surprised, but she nods. She rests her head back on his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. In that moment, all her fears and doubts feel distant, replaced by a quiet sense of belonging.
As they lay there, the world outside begins to stir, but in the room, time seems to slow. It's a rare, tender moment between them-one that neither of them will forget.
It's mid-morning, and the bedroom is illuminated by soft sunlight streaming through the windows. Aarohi stands in front of the vanity, dressed in her mint-colored satin lounge set, her delicate features glowing as she applies a light touch of makeup. She's getting ready for the day, her movements graceful and unhurried. On the table before her sits a small vermillion (sindoor) box.
Rudaraksh walks into the room, fresh from a quick shower, his crisp white shirt slightly unbuttoned at the top. His steps falter as his eyes land on Aarohi. She looks ethereal, her soft mint attire hugging her form, the satin glinting in the sunlight. Her hair cascades over her shoulders as she leans slightly forward, focusing on her reflection in the mirror. He stands still for a moment, mesmerized by her beauty, his heart beating faster at the sight.
Aarohi, unaware of his presence, picks up the small sindoor box from the vanity and opens it. She dips her fingers into the vermillion, about to apply it to her hairline when she feels a sudden warmth behind her. Before she can react, Rudaraksh's strong arms encircle her waist, pulling her gently into a back hug. His scent and the firmness of his touch make her breath catch.
Aarohi: (Startled, her voice soft) "Mr Rajput! You scared me."
Rudaraksh: (His voice husky, near her ear) "How could I not, sweetheart ,You look... breathtaking. It's impossible to stay away."
Aarohi blushes, her hand frozen mid-air with the sindoor. Rudaraksh notices and gently takes the sindoor box from her other hand. His fingers brush against hers, sending a shiver down her spine. He carefully dips his thumb into the vermillion and brings it to her hairline.
Rudaraksh: (Softly, his voice is filled with emotion) "Let me."
Aarohi's eyes widen, her heart pounding in her chest. She watches in the mirror as Rudaraksh tilts her head slightly, his eyes focused entirely on her. With deliberate care, he applies the sindoor to her parting, the vibrant red standing out against her glowing skin. The act is intimate, reverent, and filled with unspoken affection.
Rudaraksh: (Whispering as he looks at her reflection) "Beautiful, Meri jaan."
Aarohi's cheeks turn a deep shade of pink, her eyes lowering shyly. Her fingers clutch the edge of the vanity for support as her emotions swirl-shyness, happiness, and a growing warmth in her chest. She glances up at their reflection in the mirror, his intense gaze locked onto hers. He rests his chin lightly on her shoulder, his arms still holding her close.
Aarohi: (Softly) "You didn't have to do that."
Rudaraksh: (Smirking, his tone teasing yet warm) "I didn't have to, but I wanted to. You're my wife, Rohi . It's my privilege."
Aarohi's lips curve into a small smile, her heart swelling at his words. She feels his grip tighten slightly around her waist, his warmth seeping into her. For a moment, they stay like that, lost in each other's presence, the world outside forgotten.
Finally, Rudaraksh places a soft kiss on her temple before stepping back, letting her compose herself. Aarohi turns around to face him, her eyes still shy but filled with gratitude and something deeper.
Aarohi: (Quietly, looking up at him) "Thank you... for everything."
Rudaraksh: (Smiling softly) "You don't need to thank me, Jaan. Just stay by my side, always."
With that, he brushes a strand of hair behind her ear, his touch lingering for a moment before he steps back, giving her space to finish getting ready. Aarohi watches him, her heart full, as he moves to the wardrobe, his every action exuding quiet confidence. She touches her hairline where he applies the sindoor, her smile widening as she realizes just how much he means to her.
Rudaraksh: Aaj haam lunch pe jaarahe hai ,tumhari dress Kuch Der mein aajayegii.
Aarohi is first shocked but in months a lot of things change, now she completely trusts rudaraksh.whe shyly nodded.
Rudaraksh went to his office after breakfast as he has an urgent meeting to attend.she said aarohi to be ready by afternoon as they were going out for lunch.
